The food and service were terrible. Ordered Salt and Pepper Squid. It was rock hard and any squid in it had long ago dried up. Service at the bar was very slow, they needed more staff on a Saturday night.
Just ghosted then dissed by the barmaid. She missed serving me twice, then refused to hear that she had done so, with a most dismissive tone. Good luck with that business model!
They dont even deserve one star. The chef couldn’t possibly be proud of the food he sends out. The quality, quantity and value for money was at an incredible low. Pity, the location is all they have going for them.
Was looking forward to New Years Day lunch at the Bullshead to see my Mum and Dad who live nearby, unfortunately the reunion was slightly ruined by the service and general manner of all the staff from the manager down.
Our meal of 3 burgers and 1 fish and chips took 50 minutes to arrive and when we asked why the delay we were told that they had a big function upstairs and so had to get their food out first, this was said without a hint of apology or acceptance that this really wasn't a valid excuse.
The food when it did arrive was under cooked and anaemic.
Totally disappointed with the whole experience and will never eat there again, Barnes has many other places to eat which are better value, have better service and nicer staff.
