I would strongly advise people to be very cautious when dealing with The Car Mode. My experience has been extremely stressful and disappointing.
I purchased a vehicle from them which later turned out to have multiple issues that were not disclosed to me at the time of sale. I arranged for an independent diagnostic inspection to be carried out by a VAT-registered garage, and the report highlighted several problems with the vehicle.
After reviewing the findings, I exercised my consumer rights and requested to return the car. Instead of taking accountability and resolving the matter professionally, The Car Mode have made the process unnecessarily difficult. They have since made claims to the lender suggesting that scratches and dents on the vehicle occurred while it was in my possession, which I completely dispute. These marks were already present when I collected the vehicle.
The whole experience has left me feeling misled and extremely frustrated. Buying a car is a significant purchase, and customers should be able to trust that a dealership is open and transparent about the condition of a vehicle.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend The Car Mode. I believe potential buyers should be extremely careful and ensure they carry out their own independent checks before purchasing from them.
