Absolutely love The Cheese Collective! I’m subscribed to “The Usual,” and it’s the perfect mix of reliable favourites and interesting new cheeses each month. Everything arrives beautifully packaged, and the quality is consistently outstanding. The tasting notes are a great touch too. It’s made enjoying artisan cheese at home so easy, highly recommend!

I have been subscribed to "the usual" cheese subscription from here for a couple of years now and I cannot fault it ! Love the variety of cheeses. I often send boxes as gifts to y family members around Christmas and its very well received !

Previously ordered one-off boxes as gifts in previous years, no trouble at all and they were well received. Ordered a single subscription box last month, had plenty of response from customer service before I ordered, ok no problem. 1 month on, nothing arrived, no notification and no response from customer service. I just want my money back (it's not cheap, either!).
I would avoid.

Update: Their customer services got in touch to tell me that they had delivered my order - plot twist, to a completely different address that I had never even heard of, let alone requested. They are trying to insist this is my fault for not picking it up and are getting quite unpleasant. I've never experienced anything like this.

last year I received a subscription as a Christmas present and it worked really well.

Totally different storythis year. In brief I contacted them about 6 weeks ago to activate my subscription and there is no sign of the first delivery. Emails to them take a week plus to be responded to. I've asked for my money back. Avoid.

Update: My email has prompted them to send my first delivery. They used an incorrect address, sent 3 soft cheeses though I said I preferred hard and 2 of the cheeses were the same. Not impressed.

Incredibly poor customer service.
1st subscription order placed 6 weeks ago and had still not been fulfilled. Reply to my email was that there was an issue and would be shipped with the next batch. 3 weeks later, still not shipped but second payment was taken.
Reply time to emails usually 1 week or more

I can’t the quality of the product yet, but if it matches their customer service, it will be amazing. They didn’t have to help me at all, but chose to, because it was a cool thing to do. They put a smile on my face and made a huge difference to my situation. Highly recommended.

Buyer Beware! This company scams you and are an absolute joke. I ordered a cheese and meat hamper from them for my brother’s birthday and specified the delivery date. Nothing arrived, much to my embarrassment and his disappointment. I then contacted the owner, Sam, who apologised and gave me a choice of new delivery dates, blaming the courier for the first non-delivery. My brother chose a new delivery date and guess what, nothing has arrived again. Subsequent attempts to contact Sam and the Cheese Vollective have failed and we now feel we have been totally scammed. So, my advice: do NOT order from this company as it is not a serious enterprise with appalling customer service

Amazing cheeses every time!

The cheeses we get are incredible and the collective tailor every box with any requirements needed.

I ordered the cheese collective's 'introduction box' several weeks back, as I had an upcoming dinner party and I was looking to serve some cheeses to my guests. I don't really have the know-how to select a good variety of cheeses myself, and I wanted to avoid those awful plasticky supermarket cheese boxes. This seemed like a no brainer.

Two days after purchase, the cheeses arrived in a biodegradable 'cool box', ensuring that they had kept their quality. This was in my opinion a very nice touch.

The cheeses themselves are individually labelled with an information card, featuring background info on the producer as well as some notes on the cheese itself. My dinner guests and I enjoyed reading these and they certainly enhanced the overall experience.

The cheeses themselves were delicious and clearly of good quality- I'd single out the Yorkshire Blue and Baron Bigod as personal favourites.

I think that this is a wonderful idea and very well executed- I was very pleased to see that with the purchase of every box, a meal is donated to the Trussell Trust. I'd happily recommend the Cheese Collective to any fellow cheese enjoyers.

The Cheese Collective is my go to for presents for friends and family. The service is always exceptional and Sam is very knowledgeable and passionate about cheese. Highly recommend!

I was gifted a cheese-box from a friend for my birthday and couldn’t have been more impressed. The variety of cheeses that I’d not come across before were delicious and as a result I’ve now sorted a monthly subscription! The cheese and accompanying information cards are of fantastic quality and offer a real insight into the cheese world! 10/10 - a must have experience!!

I have used the cheese collective many times, usually for when i know we have friends and family round as it always goes down well. Excellent quality cheeses, and a great selection.

Terrible terrible company. They said they would deliver on a Friday from 7am to 8pm which is a huge time slot. It didn't arrive. After contacting them they gave a half hearted apology and promised to deliver the following Wednesday or Thursday - didn't arrive. On the Thursday afternoon I asked them not to deliver over the Friday and weekend as I would be away, they saw the message as they replied to it. I've now got a message saying it was delivered on the Saturday. So I'll get home to stinky fox mauled cheese. I would never never use this company again, they simply don't care and have no concept of customer service.

Don't use this company. We were gifted 3 months of cheese delivery by our daughter's for £99. When we went to arrange this it turns out that my daughter did not receive the gift card that specified the gift had an expiry date. We were 2 weeks past the expiry date and despite requesting that allowances be made and the voucher be honoured Sam denied us this. So he has £99 and we have no cheese.
