Iv trained there 5-6 days a week for over 12 months
Got a email saying I broke the rules
Had my pin disabled also
Goes in to find out whats caused it and the answer i got was I been coughing
Yeah bloody COUGHING!!!!!!!!!
What a joke 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I train hard and lift heavy 💪💪💪💪
I take pre workout even though I have ADHD
And yes the adrenaline with trying to breathe and lift heavy I do cough but I put my own towel in front of my mouth
I dont bother no one and do my thing
To the people that complained over coughing
Try lifting the weight I lift and train as hard as I do then we see how it can affect ya breathing
Iv never heard a load of rubbish in me life and the fact they disabled my pin and temporarily banned me until I went in to see management
Tell you what. Whats next

A real serious lifter who trains heavy and hard
Will cough, grunt and groan cause the heavy lifting can do that when pushing ya self especially on pre workout

And when telling them they laughed saying mate so many here cough grunt and groan
We dont penalise them for it
Just means they training hard and pushing them selves
Well thats a loyal valued member lost thats all ill say to the gym group

I have been using this gym for a number of years and they have really gone down hill lately.
The membership went from a flat rate of £17 to almost double that in just a couple of years with tiers introduced now.

They overcharged me when I switched to top tier and didn't move my corporate discount over - no mention when upgrading this would happen.

Trying to contact them is a nightmare, if you can find the number and wait in the queue only to be told they only deal with direct debits and are a 3rd party acting for The Gym Group.

Save your money and invest in a local independent gym.

Really love this gym, all the instructors are so so friendly and helpful. I come 5 times a week in the day time when it's off peak and theres always availability on the machines I want to use, members are also really friendly to, have often helped others and vice versa. Leon and Connor i see every day and they are always so helpful and so polite, even though they are always busy, really good at their job.. Previously used to attend Dawn's classes and they were fab. Over all highly reccomend.

I really like the gym group in Kidderminster- it is always clean tidy and plenty of space for everyone.
However I can’t use multi gym as there is not one in the city of Worcester! Can we get one in Worcester please :-)

It is with a heavy burden, that I write this review.
Having taken a break from Gym group
(Kidderminster) In May 2024, after several year's..for personal reasons, I found myself lacking motivation after over 30 years of training.
I can not fault the staff at the Kidderminster gym by any means, they are so approachable and professional at all times, all ways willing to go above and beyond for the clientele offering up-to-date nutrition and workout routines.
I decided to return to Gym group (Kidderminster) in January 2025, despite hearing several negative comments about the gym being full of young teenagers, on their phones, hogging the benches in groups of 4/6 and more busy taking social media posts with selfie 🤳 sticks and tripods, rather than workout , and break a sweat🥇🥵🥵.
Much to my dismay, the rumours are very much true in every way.
(Even teens bringing in laptops to use workout apps/ timers, and leaving then on the floor in the free weight area(20/01/25).
It seems like the over 30's are very much the minority.
If you plan to workout after 4.30pm, be prepared to wait for the equipment considerably, whilst the teenagers are scouring social media on their phones, seated on the benches, or congregating around the benches, for upto 30 mins talking amongst themselves.
Congratulating each other on bouncing the weights of their chests🤔😳.
School pupils in uniform arrive and it feels like a youth club at times, some looking younger than sixteen, which when asked some said they applied for membership online, with a fake D.O.B after watching several videos online.
This once enjoyable experience, where people train to make personal gains, now appears to be a more social meet up.
Whilst this is by no means the fault of the staff/ management on the shop floor, the dynamics of the gym has drastically changed for the worse, and doesn't feel like your getting the best benefits from such a great gymnasium facility.

I highly recommend this gym. All the staff are very friendly, professional and helpful. The gym equipment is top quality and in good working order. The gym iitself is always really clean and tidy. The general atmosphere is very welcoming. Best gym in Kidderminster and I have been to them all.

I have been coming to Charley’s Boxfit class and upper body fitness which are great classes. You work hard and have fun.

It would be good to have more squat racks and deadlift stations, as when it is busy these are difficult to access.

It would also be good to have a hip thrust frame, and decline and include bench press frames.

Went for a trial yesterday at Kidderminster gym.

Equipment is well spaced out and plenty of machines to choose from so you are not kept waiting around.

Unfortunately I won’t be signing up purely for the fact there are no sanitation stations anywhere around the gym. Yes, there was a cleaner around but she was more focused on cleaning the floors and toilets. Customers should be able to easily access cleaning products to wipe down equipment before using.

This is the only gym I have been to that doesn’t offer sanitisation products.

In response to your message: This appears to be a generic response. There are absolutely NO cleaning products whatsoever available for customers as you suggest. You have removed ALL cleaning stations leaving no option for customers. Sanitisation products should be available BETWEEN uses of equipment should customers require these.

Excellent value for money, clean gym, nice people and 0 issues so far (only 1 month in though, visited about 14 times)!

Jez is brilliant and always delivers a good class! Nothings ever to much trouble, His Monday classes are the best!

I’ve been coming to morning classes since January and really enjoying them , great trainers and have noticed a difference in my fitness already.
Especially love the Monday 9.15 class!

I find generally the gym group really good. The 24 hour access is brillant,go whenever you like.
