The Mortgage Pod was an invaluable service to us whilst we were buying our house.
Steve was excellent at guiding us through selecting a mortgage - always friendly and happy to explain any number of questions, and very knowledgeable in their field.

As a first time buyer, with no knowledge on the buying process, I was feeling daunted. I'm glad we were recommended to TMP, as with Steve's help, we were able to pick a product with confidence and get a good rate.

TMP also helped us out with things we didn't even really think about - including our home and life insurance.

I've told Steve this multiple times but remortgaging a year early, paying the fee and getting into a new 5 year fixed, based on Steve's advice, was the best decision I've ever made.

Speaking to an expert about something that is so important is simply a no-brainer, especially when it's such good value.

I will obviously be annoying him again in 5 years time...

Our case was a little trickier this time around compared to when we first bought due to my partner being on the CIS scheme and having claimed SEISS in the early days of the pandemic. We had very nearly given up hope after having a very bad experience speaking to 3 or 4 other advisors who had not been able to help us. Got in touch with Steve through a Facebook group and he managed to get our mortgage sorted for us! Everything was explained really well and the communication was great; being able to speak via messenger at times that were convenient to us rather than trying to book appointments around work commitments was amazing and made it way less stressful. When going into this process we had been told from friends and family that buying your first home would be the most stressful and overwhelming time of our lives, but to be honest with the help and support from Steve it really wasn't ( even in this crazy market!).



He took the time to talk us through the process and answered any questions or concerns we had and never made us feel silly for asking said questions.



The one unique thing I liked about working with Steve compared to other brokers I had spoken too, was the fact he suggested we create a WhatsApp group with myself, my partner and him so he could respond without delay if we needed anything and in turn he could request information as and when it was needed, which meant things moved along alot quicker than using traditional email/snail mail like the other vendors were using ( solicitors/ estate agents etc).



I would recommend Steve to anyone, from my first call with Steve to sitting in my own home in just over 3 months, I am beyond grateful.
