The Oil Tank Doc provides professional and affordable oil tank services across Northern Ireland The Oil Tank Doc specialises in oil tank replacements, emergency oil leak repair services, and the safe disposal of oil tanks. Based locally in Newtownards, we have been providing oil tank replacements across all of Northern Ireland for a number of years. If you are looking to replace your old oil tank in Northern Ireland, upgrade to a new modern tank, relocate an existing oil tank or put a new base in, we do it all. We are OFTEC Trained Oil Heating Engineers and are qualified to work in all oil settings. We provide site surveys on existing and new oil tank installations to ensure your oil tank is situated safely as per the OFTEC guidance.

very impressed with this business. the tank doc came when he said he would and carried out my oil tank replacement. excellent service clear transparent pricing and didn't rip me off. 5 stars many thanks. P

Would not recommend.

Initially they seemed to be ok, however their attitude changed for the worse when I tried to find out exactly what make and model of tank they intended to fit. I got the impression they don’t like you to know exactly how much their mark up is, especially if it’s a straight forward replacement as my case was. Personally if I’m spending approx £2k on any type of service or product I want to know.

Found out my oil tank was leaking this


Found out my oil tank was leaking this morning so called the oil tank doc on advice from Bangor fuels. he advised me to rub a bar of soap into the split and this immediately stopped the oil leaking. Within the hour they had drained the old leaking tank, and fitted a new kingspan tank. top service, polite guy, worked away without hassle. good price too. no reservations in recommending this company for oil tank replacements.

Phoned the oil tank doc and his team


Phoned the oil tank doc and his team yesterday after i noticed my oil tank started leaking. they came out within the hour and replaced my tank. great friendly polite old school service. hard to beat.

Highly recommend

Brilliant Service, rang Tuesday due to cracks appearing at the top of my old tank and the Oil Tank Doc was out Friday morning, in the midst of a weather warning, to fit the new Tank. Horrendous weather but still came as scheduled and completed the job. Highly recommend.

Great service and price

Great service and price, another oil tank replacement company quoted me £2850 for a new oil tank - the oil tank doc was over £1000 cheaper.. does a great job at modest money.
