Companies House shows that the company changed hands on 3rd April, so earlier reviews might no longer be valid.
In the last 8 days I have received 4 phone calls supposedly from this group. 'Who called me' suggests the number is associated with scams.1st three times, caller hung up before I could answer. Today I answered - automated voice gave a different number to call back on for offers on 'business services'. We are registered with the Telephone Preference Service. Calls reported to BT.

I was called today by the Redwood Group Company regarding my new business energy. I asked if it was a cold call and they said 'no' and they implied they had been given details by my landlord. I checked this several times with the first agent and the second agent Martin.

After the call I soon realised it was a broker and definitely a cold call.

I will be requesting the recording of the call and all transcript.

I have emailed to cancel anything immediately, have also contacted the police fraud system and will continue to contact all related to this.

A quick response back from the company would be welcomed especially as this only happened today.

Do not deal with this bunch of crooks, They scammed my vulnerable 80 year old father. signed him up for a 3 year contract with rates so high it was a joke, they never sent anything in writing, never confirmed anything then made threats to him when he complained.

I bought a card machine from a representative called Chris Gordon. He explained everything clearly and simply to me. Not only this, but everything he said the company would do, they have. Highly recommend based on the service so far. Big thumbs up

I have just purchased a card reader for my business and dealt with a member of staff called Chris Gordon .He was very friendly and helpful and guided me through the process so that everything went smoothly.Would definitely recommend.

I’m a new business and redwood group scammed me in to signing a contract of three years with a price through the roof! I am deeply disappointed and worried what this will mean for my future as a new business. At no point did the broker explain that I was signing a contract, also said my payments would be exactly the same as the previous tenants, which is a total lie because I was paying the previous tenants bill as I was subletting for a short time. They charged me over double and took advantage of me whilst I was busy and unable to read the contract thoroughly. AVOID

Avoid this company! Do not speak with them on the phone. We got tied into a verbal 3 year contract and a rate that I’m so worried is going to end up bankrupting us. When they called I had 3 young children to look after and stupidly on my part wasn’t really paying attention as figured I’d be sent an agreement to sign. This was not the case, I was tied into a verbal 3 year deal over the phone. I naively didn’t know this was a thing. They called to say they look after the council commercial rentals so we thought they were genuine. We don’t even have the property as there’s issues with the roof but told we’re still in the contract. Absolute scammers. I’m dreading the first bill which isn’t even us using it, it’s contractors fixing the roof!

I am deeply disappointed with the warehouse management. Their hiring process seems to lack thorough checks, resulting in a toxic work environment. It's become clear that management is aware of the bullying behavior exhibited by certain individuals, specifically noting a ringleader named Valentina. This person, along with others seemingly of similar mindset, has formed an alliance to target and bully specific individuals daily. Despite this being evident, management has failed to take appropriate action to address the situation. This inaction creates a hostile workplace and demonstrates a complete disregard for the well-being of their employees. I would strongly advise anyone considering working here to reconsider, as the current management clearly prioritizes quantity over the quality and safety of their workforce.

Don't trust them! mislead you to the 'verbal contract' and get you stuck with the worst deal for 3 years! and guess what, they got £550 commission fee just from 1 call! as when you believe if you don't sign anything you will be ok, no! you take a phone call, you’re suddenly bound by a terrible deal with no way out. Do yourself a favour and stay away from them – I would give zero stars if I could.

Don’t trust AVOID! Wanted a cheaper alternative to my current card reader. Was sold worldpay even though I explained I was a small craft business. Was put on a different tariff than I signed up for and now cannot cancel. Salesman was pushy and I’m going to loose my business paying to get out of this contract. Don’t trust anything that they say!

Received a telephone call from them saying they were from the tenancy transfer department. I had just moved into a business premises and out-going tenant had given the energy provider meter reading. I was under the impression they were from my new energy company and I had to sign a new deal. At no point did the person identify himself as a broker and that he would receive commission for setting up my account. So the energy broker has set me up with the worst possible energy deal or maybe the best for his commission. Tired to cancel the agreement but told that no cooling off period with commercial contracts. Yorkshire Gas & Power not interested that I was mislead and said the contract is still valid. Redwood group said it was all legitimate as the broker identified himself as Redgroup, even though he failed to state he was a broker and would receive commission. How these businesses are allowed to pray on innocent people and are allowed to carry on trading is totally beyond me. We are a new business and the extra money we will have to pay will probably push us into insolvency. Instead of a great deal on energy we were sold the most expensive deal on the market meaning we pay the max allowed energy cap. Shame on this company and shame on Yorkshire Gas & Power.

Just wanted to let you know that I recently had a chat with Aaron, we have been looking at card systems for our business but didn't really know what we wanted. Arron was really helpful and well informed. Not pushy but really helpful. A credit to the company. Thanks Dan from music and mayhem
