This time I bought the Petite Blythe Doll with Ginger Hair and she has such pretty eyes. The best part is, whenever I laid her down, her eyelids close. Super-satisfied customer!

I am a long-time online doll reviewer and I ordered $300 worth of products, across two orders, from this store for one of my reviews. In general, the items I bought are great, although they are not authentic Hasbro Blythe products. While I was doing research for my review, I found similar (in many cases identical) products from other vendors for significantly less money (half the price in most cases, even less in other cases). I mentioned this fact in my review, to inform my readers, and I showed evidence. This has earned me *months* of harassment from This is Blythe. They relentlessly email me with specious legal threats and have even sent me a screenshot of their efforts to track down my family members online. After receiving these real and implied threats, I sought legal advice and looked further into this company and their practices. I realized that the contact information displayed on their website is fake. The California headquarters address does not exist. There's no way I can trust a company displaying sneaky information like this. So basically, there's nothing wrong with the products I received, other than that they were severely overpriced. However, this company is not nice, nor are they honest. Do a bit of research before you buy. There are plenty of shops selling equivalent items that will charge way less, and will not try to ruin your life and livelihood if you have a simple complaint or critique.

I am a fan of Blythe dolls. This time I ordered 5 different Blythe dolls from this website. They look adorable and I am happy to be a client of TIB. I would rate 5 stars for such a fabulous collection.

Samantha is perfectly my kind of doll. TIB's Custom Blythe Doll collection is impeccable. She has carved nose, lips, etc. Plus, her lift-up look makes her more attractive. Happy to receive the order before the schedule. Highly recommended.

My sister is a doll collector. And, so I ordered her the Stacy Blythe doll from this site. Since my sister likes to design clothing for dolls, I gifted her one for inspiration. She liked it a lot! Now she makes dresses for her new doll and accessorize it with her latest designs. Also, the quality was perfect. Thanks for fast order processing.

Beautiful products. Never experienced Blythe dolls in person until now. So much fun to dress, hair is soft and silky, eyes change without issues. Excited to explore more soon.

I hope that you are reading this before buying from this company, rather that after. I discovered them back in April and purchased one doll from them and thought she was very nice. Having no knowledge of this particular company (and not knowing any better) I foolishly went on to order six more and was also happy with them. Than having already spent over $2,000 Canadian I ordered two more, both supposedly 'custom dolls' one was supposed to have yellow eyelids, the other, yellow. When they arrived they both had yellow eyelids and I contacted the company to exchange the one that was supposed to be pink as their website emphasizes ( FREE RETURNS AND NO QUESTIONS ASKED RETURN POLICY) Then the truth came out. I was told that the eyes and eyelids go through a 'RANDOMIZER' system and unless I specify an eye or eyelid colour then in effect they can send me whatever they choose. Nowhere on their website is this mentioned and as I had no issues with previous orders, there is no possible way I could have known this. Suggestions were made that I could also spend even more money and buy eyes with pink eyelids and replace the yellow ones, which I had never expected in the first place. I therefore asked for instructions on how to return these two dolls, which are still entirely packaged as they came as per the 'free returns and no questions asked return policy, and all contact from them, ceased. I emailed twice more and still heard nothing, So the return policy does not exist, if you order from them there is no guarantee that what you order is what you get and having read other reviews on here it would appear that sometimes you get nothing at all. I ultimately do not particularly care if they are in the US or China, I just would like a company that deals honestly with people and honours the promises they make, rather than to obtain money from people using false advertising Having now looked into this more closely I discover that most of the dolls they sell can be bought on Ebay, Amazon and from other comments on here, Ali Baba for a fraction of the price. I have no first hand knowledge of Ali Baba. If you are contemplating purchasing from this totally unethical company Please do research first, and my sympathies to people (such as my self) who have discovered truth of their deception,too late.

Revende blythe falsas de AliExpress 3 veces más caras. No compré 1 sino 2 muñecas en la pagina con solo dos días de diferencia porque las necesitaba para un evento personal y todo me encajaba. Cuando me llegó el primer envío no me gustó el aspecto externo de la caja y me quedé extrañada que semejantes muñecas viniesen en ese embalaje tan cutre. Descubrí que había una pegatina pegada encima de la que tenia mi dirección y al despegarla, descubrí el engaño. El paquete venía directamente de AliExpress. Empecé a buscar un poco en AliExpress las muñecas y en internet información de la web y ya comprobé que me habían engañado. Cuando recibí el segundo paquete, un tanto de lo mismo, procedente directamente de AliExpress. Les contacte 3 días más tarde de recibir el segundo paquete con un simple correo que ponía:
“No estoy satisfecha con los productos recibidos en mis pedidos: THI-0JLA2AHXVWPP y THI-HPKCNDVKDYQH. Por favor, indíqueme procedimiento para devolverlos”
Su contestación, ya me indicó que estaba delante de unos profesionales del fraude y del engaño. Este fue su correo de contestación: “Gracias por su pedido y consulta. Me alegro de tenerte aquí. Entiendo que está pidiendo devolver las muñecas. Tenga en cuenta que nuestra política de reembolso no permite la cancelación o reembolso de las muñecas después de una hora de la compra. Cuando completó su compra, aceptó nuestra política de reembolso varias veces en diferentes días.
Nuestras muñecas premium personalizadas son productos personalizados y están hechos solo para los propietarios, por lo que pueden no ser perfectos porque no utilizamos máquinas ni robots. Todos son hechos a mano y están cerca del 99% de cómo se muestran en las fotos. Pedimos a nuestros clientes que realicen su propia diligencia debida antes de comprar cualquier producto personalizado en nuestro sitio web.

Nunca llegué a abrir los paquetes al descubrir el engaño teniendo la esperanza de que me devolviesen el dinero pero evidentemente eso nunca sucedió. Me llamaron racista porque le dije que los productos eran chinos, me dijeron que los estaba amenazando porque les pegué la valoración de esta pagina, me dijeron que me iban a denunciar a las autoridades competentes. Unos timadores en toda regla. Menuda calaña.

I ordered a doll, 3 outfits, and a pair of sneakers from this retailer before reading reviews of this company. After reading the reviews I reached out by email and made it known that I was seeing poor reviews of their company and wanted reassurance that I would receive what I paid for. A day after I made the inquiry my doll was shipped, and I tracked her with Global Package Tracking instead of the service they provided, which never registered the tracking number at all. I knew where my package was at every step of its journey from China to America. I ordered it on February 27th and it arrived today, March 19th. I took one star off because they state that they're from California when in reality they ship out of China. I feel like if customers knew they were paying for things from China they'd be more understanding about shipping times.

Since Sept 27 2020 I have been waiting on a doll for 89.99 and ordered shoes for her too. They told me after a month it was on its way then another month it was in the states but the tracking number showed it never moved. I have been told lies and they will not respond to give me my money back! I have asked several times for a refund and have since gotten e-mails from them saying they are going to take action against me.
They told me it was in the states on Oct 10, it could not have taken from then to Dec 18th to get to me from the states. 2 months and 8 days is a very long time for USPS to deliver mail domestically! The doll arrived 12 days after I contacted PayPal. 2 months and 23 days. You decide what is safe or not.edit... The long winded response below is so not even remotely the truth. I never made multiple orders and things said to PayPal never happened just for starters. They are making things up to save face. Let this be warning to you, they are masters of lying and deceiving and beware! Real business owners don’t react this way!

I tried logging into my account today to obtain information about the fake-purchases (that i made in August 2020). this website deleted my account and removed all evidence, and no more replies from them. Beware fraud website.

Rechecked again. Account is now back and orders-history available. Only 2/4 items were delivered. Please refund me for the unshipped items immediately.

The first two links provided in the reply are fake and fabricated. the last link is for just 1 order made before the full scam is discovered.

This website is a total scam and i will not stop posting my honest reviews.

A couple weeks after the estimated delivery date my order still hadn't shipped. I decided to do a reverse image search of the doll I had ordered, and found it on AliExpress for $100 USD cheaper than I had bought it for. The pictures of the so-called "Premium Custom Blythe" dolls on the website are the same pictures of fake Blythes (aka "factory Blythes", they are reproductions of the original product by Takara) which can be bought for much cheaper on AliExpress. I believe this seller is buying the dolls cheap from China and reselling at huge markup. If you don't believe me, look up the store "The show!" on Aliexpress and you will see several of the dolls listed on ThisIsBlythe.com.

What is even worse is the custom OOAK dolls listed on their site are pictures taken from custom doll artists. This Is Blythe lists them at a price 2x higher than the original artist's price. I believe they are trying to earn money off of these artists' hard work.

I contacted the seller asking for an explanation and several days never received a reply. They didn't give an explanation to why my doll hadn't shipped, either. I do not trust this seller and would not purchase from them again.

EDIT Oct 24 2020: After days of not hearing back from the seller (not even a courteous "We are busy right now, can I get back to you in a few days?") within about an hour of me posting my Trustpilot review I received a looooooooong, super passive-aggressive email from the seller threatening to take legal action if I did not take my review down. After this I noticed my shipment had been updated from "pre-transit" to "in transit".

I just received the doll yesterday, in a crappy, not very sturdy packaging. I really wish I could post a picture here because the box LITERALLY has an AliExpress shipping label on it. That confirms my suspicions that they are an Aliexpress reseller.

This website is a scam. It offers dolls that it does not have. He buys the dolls on Etsy from their actual author and resells them without their consent or knowledge as his own for triple the price. Don't be fooled.

It is not a reliable shop. I placed the order for a doll on December 13, 2019 and wrote several times to find out where my package was and every three days I was told that the package had been sent, so I followed my package and was constantly told which was stationary in China. I rewrote several times to find out where my doll was that I paid the beauty of 130 euros! The answer after a few days, telling me that he had arrived in Italy and not to worry.
To be sure, I called the Italian customs and I was told that it has never been shipped.
I contacted the seller several times via email, obviously asking for a refund, but unfortunately he never contacted me again, as I put a negative review he decided to respond and insult me.
Unfortunately I will never buy anything again, because I found the logistic behavior not very serious.
UPDATE:
After the review I had a reply and the package finally arrived. Recently an email was sent to me from their site, saying to cancel the review because the order arrived at the destination. The order arrived, but after almost two months and I confirm that the package was not in Italian Customs, but it was in China.

I did not get my order either. I placed an orded for one doll on December 2018 and was settled for a long delivery time since Christmas was coming. Then on the beginning of February I started to wonder how long would it still take and checked the tracking id. According to it they had tried to deliver it to me and the local post had sent the package back because unsuccessful delivery. I never got any notice or call of the delivery and I live in an appartment building with locked gate so they could not possibly deliver it to me without contacting me. I contacted the local post to learn that my contact information was only partially printed so that explains why I never got any delivery info.

I contacted the seller by email several times and only after I made a reclamation via Paypal they promised to resend the item to me and I - a fool - believed them. I asked to contact me to make sure the address and phone number would be correct this time but they never replied to me since. I still have not gotten my order nor have I gotten my money back. Lost my money and a lot of my time and nerves.

What I learned from all this: ALWAYS check reviews about the store before making a purchase.

The seller noted my review here and offered to do the refund - after 7 months of silence and 11 months after I first placed my order - and asked what they could do to make me change my review to five stars. I clearly replied that I would not do that after all my experiences with the seller but I would like to have my money back and promised to check my review so here’s an update:

The seller did the refund and it took them about 20 minutes. After that the seller started to insist I change my review to five stars. At this point I contacted Trustpilot to check this case as I do not like the idea that the seller uses my money as a tool for altering the reviews to their benefit. Trustpilot’s standpoint was clear; my review reflects my own buying or service experience and it should not be influenced by anyone.

The seller still keep emailing me, after a month now, about changing my review to five stars in return for them to have refunded me. Still a no for me. I bought an item from the seller and did not receive it - which is not my fault by any means - and it is only fair I finally got my money back. And I surely will not hide information about this exhausting experience with the seller.

!I bought an outfit for my blythe doll, the picture showed the outfit, and in the description it says hat and stockings and dress and purse. so, assuming it was for the cost that it was set at which was 9.95 with my coupon of a dollar off, it came down to 8.95.
When i emailed this person, they told me all i was getting was a small purse. i explained to her the picture and the description was for an entire outfit. No reply, so i emailed yet again to ask for a refund and that i would gladly ship it back, no reply. Then i decided since i was being ignored, that i would leave my review on their website, and it went missing, only 5 star ratings are allowed there. any negative reviews never show up. Also their website says if its not as described, and if it is unsatisfactory, full refund and you can keep the item. Wow, it was literally under 10.00 dollars, i dont care about the 10.00 anymore but the fact they ignore people after you give them proof of what you buy and given a picture of their websites error. this was false advertising! Now, yesterday i went back to look at my account their to see my details on the item and i was going to try for another review, well now they have deleted my purchase history! Worst worst company to do business!! what a scam!
added update: after leaving my review here, the company gave me a refund.(after jumping through hoops) However ive been harassed by this company after leaving my review here, emailing me constantly to remove my 1 star rating. They also came to trustpilot to remove my personal review here. that should tell you something about the kind of business they are. this is a really old review of mine since 2018. and yet just 2 months ago i got notified by trustpilot to remove my review! or edit it to their liking.
NO chance! you blew it with many people and have ripped people off! change your company to a better customer service and follow through with your promises! then you might deserve 4 to 5 stars.
