Good pay but not flexible and frequent with shifts. Most shifts are 100 miles away from me.

One word Outstanding!

The best agency I have ever worked for. However of late notice have been having issues with payroll. The payslips are blank. I have highlighted this issue several times by calling and sending several emails. The phone are never answered and though I emailed a few times I never got a response from the payroll team. This is tarnishing the image of the best nursing agency in town. Please look into this for us and advice the way forward. Apart from this mishap, TNS is the best nursing agency to work for.

Excellent team. Very reliable and I am privileged to be part of the team.

Getting more telephone responder would be great to match the work force, its frustrating if you have to wait for 1hr to get your call picked.

Always enjoy working with Thornbury. Service is prompt, high standard and reliable. Pay is very satisfying and received on time.

We request less waiting time on the phone, especially when workers are looking to book shifts.
Please also create more telephone lines, hence more experience staffs, especially those responsible for dispatching community jobs.

Best agency in UK , good pay scale

Very nice agency to work for. Very professional people. They pay well. The only problem as a nurse, we often have to be on the phone for sometimes for a while before the is phone answered. By the time the phone is answered the shift is gone... then you see another shift and we go through the same process. But overall. Lovely agency lovely people. Glad l am working for them...No regrets.

Positive: Pay rates, flexibility, mostly friendly bookings team

Negatives: Quick Nurse app leaves a lot to be desired, long wait times to book shifts via phone, poor and long-winded communication when myself and client directly agree a shift resulting in delay to confirm (partly TNS, partly nursing banks fault), repeated mistakes when processing timesheets, mostly relating to business mileage, no response when you make an e-mail enquiry (I've had the same experience with general, payroll and compliance).

Having said all this - Thornbury is actually the best nursing agency I've worked for - others would be getting 0 stars

This the absolute best agency to work for. They are reliable, plenty of shifts available, pay is great, pay on time and extremely supportive.

The best nursing agency, and healthcare employer full stop, I have worked for. Staff on the phone are professional and respectful. You know where you stand. Clinical support is there if needed. On the business side, the rewards are the best a nurse can get, in my opinion.

Work is not always served up to you on a plate; you have to be a go-getter, be prepared to travel, and be confident walking into a wide variety of settings. Having access to that variety of work is a pleasure and a blessing.
