Buyer Beware computer from Tiger…

I purchased my computer from Tiger Direct September 26 2021. The computer arrived damaged and didn't work. I had to send pictures, I did. No response. I called in they said they needed more pictures, I supplied them...4 times.
I started the claim process on October 8th the day I received the computer.
Then I contacted them again on Oct 12,13,14,18,29 Then again on Nov 6,11,14,15,20,29 Then again on Dec 8, 16 and 27. And today January 3, 2022.
Still no response. I RECEIVED MY REFUND TODAY 1/3/2022. So at least you know they did pay. I will never buy anything from them again.

Questionable business practices

Questionable business practices. Online products are depicted erroneously with no available assistance offered from Customer Service to resolve issues. I would suggest as a small business to find alternative sources for product purchases.

I placed an order for a Jabari headset

I placed an order for a Jabari headset. They sent me the wrong one. I called back and asked to stop that shipment. Lady said that she would stop the shipment but I need to pay for a new order. She even told me that I would receive it the next day. She lied. I called back to find out why it was not showing tracking info. The first one did not announce his name, left me on hold and never came back. I called back and got the most rude and nasty rep who again did not announce her name. I asked for the supervisor and was told to call the next day if I needed to talk to a supervisor and hung up on me. Well, my son called back this time and spoke to someone. The customer service rep had lied to me just so she could get the order. They told my son that fedex never delivered on Saturdays. I have not yet received a refund on my first order. This is the last time I buy from them. Nasty, rude call center in the Philippines. Never had any good experience with reps in the Philippines. We need to get our call centers back from the Philippines. Why pay for rude behavior?

Refurbished Lenovo Yoga 260 (keys stick or don't work)

I purchased a Refurbished Lenovo Yoga 260 last week for my Granddaughter's Birthday. The price was great, shipping was less than a week, and it arrived in pristine condition. However, several of the keys, especially numbers, stick or do not work. I don't have the luxury of time to send it back, etc., especially after I purchased MS Office Pro and installed, so I will likely order a new keyboard and install it myself. I did download and install all of Lenovo's drivers, including keyboard, and update the BIOS, and still no resolve.

Had the keyboard not been an issue, this would have been a five rating.

Arrived damaged

Arrived damaged. So bent you could slide a book under one side of it. I emailed them. Again and again. They're waiting for an RMA from "someone". I'm out almost a hundred, and they have gained a permanent negative on EVERY review site I can find. Since I used Amazon Pay, I plan on filing a complaint against them there, too.

IT'S MY OWN FAULT!

The first computer (Laptop) I bought from TigerDirect back in the 90s literally fell apart. The screen separated from the computer with less than normal use. Honestly, I don't know how they have stayed in business this long. 25 years later... I was recently in the market to buy a Mini PC. I thought, "Surely they are a better company these many years later." I was WRONG! And I bought another piece of crap computer from TigerDirect. Some people never learn. Even the purchase process was a pain in the A$$. The woman I talked to on the phone had such an arrogant and "Why are you ordering over the phone?" attitude. Such a put-off! Once the computer arrived I delivered it to my computer expert buddy to load all the Music Production software on it. He struggled with it for a week before giving up. Here are the texts he sent me...

"Can you return it. It freezes up. It crashes. It blue screen reboots. It says it has no bookable drive. I have spent 3 days setting it up and if it crashes and loses everything, I don't have the patience to do another weeks worth of work. I think either the ram or hard drive is going bad. Who knows maybe the motherboard."

Then Later...

"Yup, its official. This computer is a massive piece of SH!T. It freezes, hard drive goes offline, windows stops working, files get corrupted, @#$%*&^×? F--K!"

Then I had the exquisite joy of having to return it to those condescending smart asses they call customer service agents. What a delight! They also held my refund for several weeks until the computer was checked out by their tech people. The entire ordeal lasted about six weeks... Putting me way behind production schedule. I wouldn't get another computer from TigerDirect even if they gave me one for FREE! And the experience of it was as horrible as the trash products they sell. RUN AWAY FROM THESE JACKA$$ES!

So I ordered a Dell Laptop…

So I ordered a Dell Laptop refurbished.. The bezzle was not secured because all the locking Tabs were broke. Couldn't even bother to glue the damn thing. Also there was a large bump where the headphone jack was. Since the computer seemed to run ok , I offered to keep it with a $100 discount. They said no and offered $20 discount. I probably would of settled for $50 but they did not negotiate. When I asked for an exchange, they wanted to charge me a 15% restocking fee. After a lot of complaining they waved the fee. I will update this review after I receive the replacement. I understand that there will be a bit of cosmetic issues with a refurb, but you couldn't even open the thing up without ripping the bezel completely off... Like I said, with a little effort they could of solved that problem. Just a little quality control would of shut my ass up. Wish I could of posted photos..Oh and the other thing is that it takes 5-7 days to get a return label..Does that seem excessive to you? Amazon gets you a return label within 24 hours..

Scam company

Scam company! Ordered motherboard, which came defective. In order to get replacement they charged 3 times the price. After 3 weeks of waiting for refund, they said the chip was damaged so they won’t refund, and in order to get second 1200$+ refund I was to send replacement. Who can guarantee it won’t get damaged during shipment… don’t buy anything from them!

On August 27 I ordered a computer…

On August 27 I ordered a computer (laptop) from TigerDirect. I received it on September 7, though it was in stock. I could not get a tracking number nor any information on my order. The website tracker kept blaming me for not putting in the correct order number or my correct zip code, which is a joke, as I got the order number from TigerDirect and I know my zip code. When I got someone on the live chat, he informed me of the correct order number and my zip code, which were what I had input and it still did not work. I finally got him to give me a tracking number.
When the laptop arrived, the display was terrible; all blurry and the contrast was awful, except when I changed it to the very furthest setting. Even then, it was barely readable.
I called the customer service number and was hung up on twice as I explained what was going on. I sent an email and never got a response. I tried a live chat and was in the middle of talking to a rep when I was disconnected and the live chat kept me from any future chats, even from another browser.
I promise I was very respectful, and I never raised my voice, even when I was told that I input the information wrong. I wanted this laptop and I needed it, but I ended up asking for an RMA number, whereas I was disconnected twice from the customer service on the phone. I could not get through on the phone after that. I emailed the customer service and they told me that I did not need an RMA.
I would NEVER buy ANYTHING from TigerDirect EVER again. I must pay a 15% “restocking” fee for the pleasure of trying to use this laptop for less than one day. I am disgusted.

Bad batteries

I purchased a Microsoft surface and a go laptop, both had bad batteries and the company kept blaming the manufacturers. Tiger eventually did nothing so now I have two items that need to be plugged in all the time until I pay to get the batteries fixed. Will never purchase from here again.

Abyssmal Service!!!!

I recently ordered a 10TB drive from Tiger Direct. I became very concerned when the drive arrived and I found that the drive could slide back and forth in the packaging container freely, because of poor packaging. I connected the drive and found that it was DOA. I then called customer service and was told that I had to take a picture of the cardboard box and a picture of the drive itself before they could begin to process my request. I was then asked again the reason that I wanted to return the drive, as if the fact of it arriving in brick condition wasn't enough. Once I cleared these hurdles, I was told that it would be 3-5 days before I could even be sent a return label. I will never again do business with Tiger Direct.

Stay Away From Company

The worst company and see why haven't shopped here in years. Cancelled my order when their crappy system waas showing in stock.. Customer service wont even respond. Now they have stolen my momey for a free 72+ hours
loan. DO NOT DO Business with this company!!

Very poor customer service

Ordered a computer and monitor. Monitor arrived and I got an email saying that I left the computer behind and to order again. I did and was sent two and they want me to pay return shipping when it was clearly there mistake. Never again, I don't care what price they offer.

Truly one of the worst customer service…

Truly one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Ordered a phone case, was sent a toner cartridge. Have spent weeks and hours trying to just get the product back to them and my money back. Can't get anyone beyond entry level that needs photo proof which I have now sent 15 times. Even went through PayPal which they had time to enter right away to show they shipped a product to me which closed the case... At 7 dollar toner cartridge while I paid for a 40.dollar phone case. Nice apparent scam they have going.

Crap customer service, sells products that are back ordered

Just cancelled the last order I will ever place with Tiger Direct. I ordered a printer. Befofe placing the order I called customer service to verify the printer was in stock. Customer service verified the printer was in stock. Delivery was guaranteed in 3 to 5 days. After 5 days with no emails or updates I called Tiger Direct to ask about the order only to be told the printer was back ordered. I cancelled the order and will not be ordering from Tiger Direct again. I have wasted 5 days and will need to place the order with another, hopefully more dependable, business. Tiger Direct is trying to become the wal-mart of online suppliers with the service to match.

Ordered refurbished computer from this company. Computer works good , but was missing dvd drive. Emailed customer service, took them 3 days to respond. To make long story short, i never got my dvd drive. Would not buy from them again.
