Absolutely disgusted with the service received from TMP. Terrible communication, completely misled me as to how they could support me and doesn't even respond to complaints!

Our documents over with in 20mins an they gave our file to the wrong person to be signed off they kept asking for paperwork that we already sent in to them the we were passed to five diffrent agents all in all disgusting place wouldn’t deal with them again as there incompetent of there jobs

Unfortunately, my experience with Paul Gillibrand was very disappointing. He was quite rude on the phone, and the mortgage process is stressful enough without being made to feel worse. He spoke negatively and was more interested in telling me how I am going to fail rather then working on moving things forward. It felt like an up hill battle with him.

He also didn’t take the time to properly review my situation before attempting to match me with a lender, which later turned out to be unsuitable. This resulted in a lot of back-and-forth phone calls that ultimately wasted my time. At times, he tried to make light of the situation, which came across as unprofessional.

On a positive note, when I spoke with Milcah, the experience was completely different. She was knowledgeable, professional, and got the process moving quickly. Her support was excellent.

I saw a few negative reviews on here. So I thought I would share my experience. I couldn't fault the service. I found them so helpful from start to finish. They advised me well and it was all about me and my needs. Which they tailored an exact fit to. Would absolutely recommend them.

We had a very positive experience with TMP. Our broker, Ian was professional, knowledgeable, honest, and efficient throughout the process. He kept us well informed and provided clear guidance at every stage, making the mortgage application straightforward. We would highly recommend Ian and the team.

I cannot recommend TMP company the mortgage people highly enough! From start to finish, the entire mortgage process was handled with incredible efficiency and professionalism, resulting in a completely stress-free experience.
A huge part of this success is due to the amazing team, specifically my Mortgage Manager, Joanna, and the person dealing directly with the application, Ken.
Joanna was an excellent manager, ensuring everything was perfectly organised and that I understood every step along the way. Ken’s work was nothing short of brilliant. They dealt with all the complexities of the mortgage so smoothly and incredibly fast. I was genuinely amazed by how quickly we progressed through the stages.
Ken was soo good in explaining the progress and going through the steps. He was really amazing!
They were proactive, responsive, and always made me feel like a priority. If you are looking for a mortgage team that delivers exceptional service, reduces stress, and gets the job done at top speed, look no further than TMP company. I am absolutely delighted and couldn't be happier with the outcome!

I wanted to take out a loan for a house with my wife; we have our own broker, and we submitted all the paperwork (it's almost like they're going to ask us about our positions in the bedroom). The bank is not checking us right now (it seems like they don't want to sell us this house). If you don't provide certain documents, the system spams your email and tries to pressure you, but once you submit all the paperwork and don't send them an email—“I think that's everything I needed to send”—no one will get back to you; it's complete silence. This company works closely with Stonewater, and I don't know if Stonewater is aware of what's going on there. It's so bad that the agency mediating the purchase calls us (because they have no contact) and asks if we want the house. You see, TMP, I really advise you—Run!!!

I want to give a particular thank you to Piyush Sharma, who was extremely helpful with my mortgage. He was attentive, explained everything in great detail, and was always available whenever I reached out.

As a first-time buyer, he made the whole process much easier — I felt well-informed throughout, and he really took charge when a final push was needed.

I would highly recommend him!

Very bad experience. Avoid them at all price.

Very Nice over the phone. Completely incompetent in finding suitable mortgages unfortunately. Very long and protracted process, sending every detail of my life.
Mortgage fell through on the day of completion, due to the wrong mortgage type offer. Still haven't received a refund on the fee I paid.

Received a full refund following a major error.
Went around in circles for a month and more than often weren't replying to my emails.

Worse company worse communication worse thing is you have to use them for your affordability check when your buying shared ownership property otherwise avoid like the plague

The Worst Mortgage People

I am buying a shared ownership property and needed to go through the affordability checks with The Mortgage People. Their service has been unbelievably poor—it took them around ten days just to complete the signing of the affordability letter, even though I provided every requested document within 30 minutes of each request.

The housing association emailed them to initiate the checks. It took two days for a coordinator to pick it up and arrange a mortgage consultant. Then it took another two days to review my documents and issue a pass for the initial checks. After that, it took a further two days for them to start the final checks and request additional documents.

Once I submitted those, it took them another two days to review them. Then they asked for even more documents—some of which I had already provided. They took yet another day to “review” the same documents and once again requested files I had already submitted.

After all that, they still had the audacity to ask if I wanted them to handle my mortgage. After this experience, it’s honestly laughable.

The core issue seems to be that multiple people—possibly up to five—are handling the same application without communicating with one another. Documents are being reviewed multiple times, and the same information is requested again and again. The process is chaotic, disorganised, and extremely frustrating.

Robyn has been nothing short of incredible throughout the entire mortgage process. From the very start, she’s been patient, informative, and genuinely supportive even when things got complicated. What stood out most was how she took the time to really understand my situation and went above and beyond to find solutions that worked.

She always made herself available to answer questions, broke things down clearly, and kept me updated every step of the way. It never felt like I was just another client she made it personal, and that made all the difference. Thanks to Robyn, I’ve felt confident and reassured during what could have been a stressful journey.

If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares, knows her stuff, and will fight your corner until the very end Robyn’s the one. I can’t recommend her enough.

Incompetent.
Zero communication.

I cannot speak highly enough about my experience with TMP, and especially with Graeme Crisp. From our very first conversation, Graeme demonstrated an incredible level of professionalism, knowledge, and genuine care.

Every question I had (and there were many!) was answered promptly and clearly. Not only did TMP secure a fantastic rate for me, but they also provided a level of customer service that is rare to find these days. If you're looking for a trustworthy, dedicated, and incredibly helpful mortgage broker, I wholeheartedly recommend TMP. You won’t be disappointed!

Amazing service from Jags and Dave. They have made the process so simple and easy for us. Both Jags and Dave have been very helpful throughout our buying process, very communicative and always keeping us up to date and informed. We have recently completed our purchase and are very happy with the service we recieved. Highly recommend!
