One of the worst bus companies I have ever dealt with. The majority of the time they just dont turn up. Yesterday the 71 bus left the station 5 minutes early as I was just walking up for it, then today it hasn't turned up yet again. If they cant provide a service they shouldn't be in business in my opinion.

People have got work. It's not on not turning up people have got commitments

This has got to be the worst company in the UK, the buses hardly ever turn up after 620pm they only run every 2hours and don't turn up and next bus another 2hours and almost certainly that won't turn up either .either walk 2hours home or taxi ,please strip this appalling bus company of there licence,everybody are absolutely fed up with them.

I use the 218 bus in Sheffield and i have always found all your drivers are very kind. Especially a driver who was driving yesterday vehicle 508 (713702) and trip ID 1610/101610

He always says hello when I board the bus and says thank you when leaving the bus.

Yesterday at around 16:15 from Sheffield City Centre he managed to avoid an accident when suddenly the car in front of him turns without signaling.

Just to say thank you to him and he is a very good example for an excellent driver.

Today, 18.11.25, I went to catch the 118 from Baslow to Sheffield at 1225, it didn't come. I waited for the 1300 bus. At 1315 I gave up and went home. My afternoon arrangements ruined. Similarly last week, first bus didn't come, second bus 15 minutes late. I'll use my car from now on.

70 bus from meadowhall, late by 15 to 20 mins daily, this is not a normal bus service and I dont understand why this is not been investigated, despicable and thata being polite. Sort yourself out TM Travel sort your timings and drivers out and safety of your fleet

I had a really horrid experience with a driver, and I would describe his behaviour as sexist. Phoned up to complain and they picked up straight away and the man who handled the complaint, Andrew, was fabulous!

Would give a 0 or a negative star if possible. Please cancel your X7 from Sheffield to Maltby. You clearly don’t want passengers to get on the bus. This is public transport on a public road, you are not on an F1 track. Who are you trying to race here? Wait until departure time if you want passengers to get on board. If the bus is scheduled at 5:15pm, I get there at 5:13 to find the bus departing at 5:12 right in front of me-about 15 metres. Getting tired of this company, had raised this directly with them via email, they asked for the date of experience like they were about to do something, I sent out screenshots of evidence from the bus tracking website. No response/no steps taken. Keep up the good work TM travel, you might still be able to close down the service soon and go back to F1 racing.

This company has bad management get treat with no respect at all money is shocking just over£12.70 p.h how you expect to live on this I do not know buses forever break down public have no faith in this service from them. If I was you don’t work here or if you do you will find out

Should be called Turns up Maybe Travel. Or better still Turns up Never. What a pathetic bus company. Buses and Drivers that don't work at the time they should.

It is very bad because the bus is late in the morning and the driver does not stop at the designated place, leaving those who want to get on. I waited for the bus on the way back and even the driver was outraged that I dared to ask why he didn't pick me up at the bus stop. It happened this morning on bus number 9 at 8:13

Number 30 bus service must be the worst in Sheffield, usually late or don’t turn up at all. Why don’t they get management who can run them like a proper bus service. Useless.

AVOID THIS COMPANY IF YOU NEED TO GET ANYWHERE X74 FROM SHEFFIELD DRIVER IS TO BUSY TALKING TO SOMEONE ON THE PLATFORM OF THE BUS DRIVES STRAIGHT PAST PEOPLE WAITING THEN GET A GUY ON THE PHONE JUST GO ONLINE AND SUBMIT YOUR COMPLAINT REFUSED TO GET SOMEONE ON THE PHONE NEVER MIND MY REPORT WILL BE GOING TO THE TRAFFIC COMMISSIONER AND ONE TO DVSA ENFORCEMENT BU THE LOOKS OF THE BUS THAT JUST DID LEAVE FOLK STANDING COULD DO WITH A CHECK

This bus company (part of the Wellglade group) cancelled the last bus of the day in a very remote location, leaving with me either a very long walk or an expensive taxi ride. Despite a written complaint and numerous reminders, months later they have still failed to apologise or even respond at all. A dreadful way to treat their passengers - is this how to encourage bus travel ?

Update - this is the reply from Travel South Yorkshire / Combined Authority when I asked them to investigate:
"In relation to current tendered services and those that are operated by TM Travel we are currently imposing financial deductions on TM Travel for tendered journeys that fail to run, in addition to not paying for the journeys missed. These deductions increased in March 2024 and we have moved some of their contracted work to another operator to reduce the amount of contractual commitments TM Travel have.
Whilst we have seen improvements in the volume of mileage failing to operate, their performance still remains well below a level that is acceptable. We have recently written to TM Travel and asked for a detailed plan of how they will finally get these issues resolved and a deadline to achieve this in the coming months."
While this is little comfort to me, it is good to know that action has been taken against this company.
