This is the third time over a number of years they have been unable to provide P60 details in a timely manner. Fed up with having to chase them. My other pension providers managed to do the same job instantly over the phone. Their online portal wouldn't recognise me but their glossy website claims their service is award winning. Only if the award is called the Golden Coprolite.

Awful awful company. Wish my pension was with someone who actually cared about their customers and doing the right thing.

Took over admin of our company pension, despite being a defined benefit pension they said I would be getting over 10% less that previous administrators quoted, after months and months finally got them to admit they were wrong and correct it, well until I come to draw the pension and now they say they have got it wrong again, not fit to manage people's money

This pension provider is almost impossible to contact regarding pension payment queries. My latest experience was on the phone… the message kept telling me I was 1st in the queue for over 1 hour! And that’s after listening to a lengthy blurb about opening hours etc. Their online system is even worse.

A shambles of a company that should be closed down. It's obvious that they don't want to give over you're hard earned money. I have completed the forms etc and when asked about a run in period to get the pension that belongs too me. I was told how long is a piece of string 😤😤

Despite frequent communication initiated both by myself and by my husband's legal executors following his death in early January, I have had no indication of when Trafalgar House will pay my widow's pension, let alone how much I can expect to receive.

Information I have sent has been asked for again. Almost all my emails have been replied to, but each reply was signed by a different person, or a 'team' member.

If you can, avoid this organisation.

I have been consolidating my workplace pensions and in the process worked with 6 different pension providers. Scottish Widows has been difficult but Trafalgar House is the worst. Receive no communications at all, had to call many times for status. The latest administrator working on my case gives excuse after excuse. Close to 6 months after I submitted my transfer request, I'm still waiting for the transfer to be completed.....On their website they say they have the best online application for managing the scheme. I registered on the 1st week. To this day I cannot see the transfer case or status!!

Having had taken on a large ex nationalised industry pension scheme they were initially slow to respond.
However, they were easy to contact and were always easy to talk to and knowledgeable about my complex scheme.

Now things are moving and pension applied for and I am confident that I will receive my pension on time.

July 2025 update
Pension was two months late being paid, but now coming in nicely.
Just need to actually retire now...

These guys are extremely lethargic and very paper driven. They come up with all the excuses showing "trust" as a point to prove their slowness. Can't avoid them unfortunately as it's the employer pension scheme and if you can, avoid by all means!!!

exceptionally lethargic when dealing with my request for an application pack to take my pension a year early - 4 phone calls over a 2 month period, the first in may and the 4th today 08/07 and each time i was informed it would be posted 2nd class and take 5 - 10 days to reach me, still nothing. very disappointing and unprofessional. WHY ?

I have a large pension with Trafalgar House
I gave details of a newly diagnosed medical condition and they advised in writing that I could take ill health retirement following planned major surgery. Now after surgery which has actually left me with life changing disability & unable to work, they say they made a mistake and I will only be eligible if I have only 12 months to live. Shockingly bad insensitive advice, terrible (& very slow) customer service. Avoid them.

If you have a pension with this company I would try and cash out asap , my partner passed away beginning of November 2023 , I have been phoning when I get an answer I get some one will call you back I’ve been waiting 7 weeks for some one to call back , been left with no option but to go to the pensions ombudsman as have sent letter and numerous emails and have been told I’d be lucky if I get what was paid in that was 7 weeks ago was the last time I have heard anything with a promise she would send me her personal email and contact number which of course never happened , I got a letter dated 22/12/2023 stating everything was in order to go to the trustees it went there end of February only to be told their was mistakes made when the policy was bought over but happy to make money from the money that was put in and then to ignore my numerous emails and calls shocking !!!

After already waiting almost 2 months to get this sorted Ive had to write to them again asking for MY money to be paid to me.

They replied back on 7th Dec 2023 saying my request had been given "priority instruction" and my money would be sorted by the new payment date via pensioner payroll.

Well here we are 15th January 2024 and not a thing.

Ive now emailed them demanding MY money back but what a way to treat your customers.

Its been me chasing this all the time - why????
