This shop is small but has so much to offer the dungeons and dragons and boardgameing fans where as most shops do alot of Warhammer stuff this is the opposite way round. Staff are uniquely friendly... もっず芋る

Tritex Games is owned and independently run by Jason Thornton. I have personally been involved in gaming circles for over three decades and have a true passion for the gaming hobby and all things sci-fi & fantasy. I always enjoyed playing games when I was younger but there was never a great range out there to play so I usually played the classics such as Risk and Monopoly. When I was a teenager I discovered Dungeons and Dragons and roleplayed for a number of years. In my early 20’s I got into playing collectable card games such as MTG and around this time I also learned to play other specialist games and was introduced to war gaming. I have always preferred playing shorter skirmish games such as Blood Bowl rather than larger scale battles and when WOTC introduced Dungeons & Dragons and Star Wars miniature games I played these for a while. I started up Tritex Games in 2004 as I found there was a need for a store that focused on supplying a large selection of fantasy and sci-fi miniatures for war gaming and roleplaying. The range has been growing ever since. In 2013 Fantasy Flight Games launched X-Wing miniatures and this game along with other popular miniature titles they produced such as Star Wars Imperial Assault and Star Wars Armada have become a core part of our range ever since. Tritex Games couldn’t be run without the help of a great team and I am fortunate to have the support of a great team my wife Bethany, Megann, Sandra, Sarah, Keyleigh, Joseph working alongside me. During the busy seasons and at trade shows my daughter Amber and a number of other staff come to work for us on a part-time basis and help us keep the orders flying out the door as fast as they come in. In 2017 we opened a new retail unit in Stafford for tabletop gaming and organising play.

Awesome individual components

Ordered the board for Hero Quest. It arrived in excellent condition and quickly. Was really impressed the seller offered individual parts from the full game, this was really helpful as I'm only looking for a few elements.
If they break up another copy I'm very interested in the cards from hero quest too.

First time using Tritex, but will use again

Been a customer with Tritex for years


Been a customer with Tritex for years now, only had one issue when I pre-ordered an item during the month of Feb 2023.

September-October has passed and it has simply not arrived yet despite being expected months beforehand so I was issued a refund. Tritex re-imbursed me and as an extra nice thing they didn't have to do at all, sent me the item when they finally received more stock from the supplier.

Grateful for Tritex doing their thang and I recommend this company because they're reliable and their customer support is great. If you do run into an issue which I imagine is simply unavoidable for their business, they're known to rectify it as soon as they can.

2nd time a figure listed as available is out of stock.

On the evening of Sunday the 13th of August the Tritex website listed there being two Tortle monk D&D miniatures in stock. I ordered one and received confirmation of my purchase.
On the afternoon of Monday the 14th of August (less than a day after placing the order) I received this message.
(The following note has been added to your order:

Apologies I was away last week and staff put it on hold but we cannot get this in now and sold out a week ago. Apologies I have to refund it.

How could my order be placed on hold before being placed? And if the item was out of stock, why did the on-line store state 2 were available?

That's twice in recent weeks my orders have been, let's say, mishandled, with me not getting what I have ordered.
Even though I was sent a different, though similar, figure in the first case and was given a refund for the Tortle, this is not what I would call good, or even adequate customer service.

As a result I have gone with another supplier who charge a little more but who seem to maintain more accurate stock records.

I am sorry you feel let down. As you are aware we have just changed over to a new website and some of the stock numbers were not carried over correctly. We are in the process of stocktaking over 6,000 lines but a few have falling through the cracks. I was away over the last 6 days so I would have advised straight away that this was not in stock as it happens it was less than 48 hours since you placed the order and I notified you. I don't work Sundays so this is the quickest I could do this. I am sorry to let you down again and if I could have got one in I would have. As ever you are in your rights to leave feedback but honestly we are trying our best with a reduced team at present.

I have used TritexGames for years and


I have used TritexGames for years and they have never failed to make me feel like a valued customer. For an internet order firm their customer service is second to none. On the odd occassion I have had an issue they have sorted it quickly and fairly, Descriptions are accurate and delivery is prompt and well packaged. I can't recommend them enough. Thanks guys.

Always Amazing

Always receive a fantasic service from Tritex. They send the products out quickly. reliably and well packaged. They also have great customer service and respond very quickly to all queries. I have been ordering from them for quite a few years now and they never disappoint.

Somehow worse than wayland.

Expected delivery on the 2nd, checked on the 5th as noticed email confirmation stated the 9th. Was informed it would be dispatched on the 12th as Tritex were adhering to the release date for 'Major national retailers' disagree with this interpretation but fine.
Was then told the 8th.
Chased on the 15th, no response just a dispatch notification on the 16th, then a second dispatch notification on the 19th.
At no point did I receive an accurate delivery estimate. To top it all off another review states they received their product on the 7th?
Avoid.

Edit: Gave three different shipping dates, didn't adhere to any of them and then replied two months later to blame third parties.

I missed this feedback, so I am sorry at the late responce. The Shatterpoint release issues were widely notified and a frustration for all retailers up and down the line and were caused by Asmodee. Retailers were told if they did not adhere to the strict policy they may not get stock in future...it was that simple. Brick & Mortar retailers like us were allowed to give out stock on the 2nd to local customers who had pre-ordered and customers at UKGE also - we shared this with all our pre-order customers and everyone else we were advised had to wait until the 16th. The review in question on your comment was a local pick up. We shipped yours on the 15th in accordance to Asmodee's rules but second notification came from Royal Mail click & drop which we were not responsible for. I am assuming you git your set now so hopefully all is well but as I said this was the manufacturer and distributor issues that we tried to abide by as best we could.

I have checked the tracking on this order and it was despatched on Friday the 16th June which was the date all retailers including ourselves were told by our supplier Asmodee the owner and the manufacturer of Shatterpoint that we could ship on. Therefore we did it correctly and running our business with integrity and 'by the rules specified by those who sell goods to us is more important than 1 feedback I am afraid and most customers understand and appreciate this is the way we run our business.
The item was delivered on Tuesday 20th 2 working days after postage. I am sorry this buyer feels that posting in line with what we were supposed to do and that they got the item 1 working day later is suitable of a 1 star review but I repeat we could not have done anything more. The reason I am replying to the feedback late is because we simply missed it and the buyer was dealt with directly at the time.

Overall a really positive. Customer service was really helpful in letting me know what was happening, and the miniatures all arrived packed very well and in great shape!
