After more than 4 months waiting for a product that supouse to arrive in 8 weeks I asked for a refund. They agreed on that but said will keep 5% for my change of mind and to cover their costs. I explained that was not a change of mind but they didn't deliver the product as expected. Anyway, I decided to progress with the refund because at least I would like my money back. Now after more than 3 weeks and multiples emails the money is still not in my bank account and they continue saying that the refund has been made and the money will be soon available for me. So worst experience ever, a waste of time. 6 months dealing with this place . This shop is stealing people money. I'm putting a formal complaint and hope this stop soon.

Company tell me they are keeping 5% for me cancelling order

I explain very clearly that I won’t be charged anything as I will report to Australian consumer affairs

They quickly write telling me they have asked their accountant to refund in full

Still waiting for money

PayPal have advised full refund pending

Barstools ordered and paid 4 months ago. Received 2 emails 2 months ago stating that the delivery would be late. Nothing since. Rang x 2. Finally had my call answered after a 45 min wait. Customer service officer stated I would have an email within the day. 4 days later nothing. Today have sent and email and making a call. Unacceptable service!

This company is horrendous - do not have anything to do with them . They have no communication between departments or with their customers. The whole experience has been stressful. PLEASE give them a wide berth.

DO NOT BUY from T&R Sports! Dodgy products and dodgy company. I bought a rowing machine from T&R Sports - it broke within 3 months. They provided a replacement which also broke within 3 months. They were frequently rude and non responsive in their communication. It took 3 years and taking them to court before they provided me with a refund. Save yourself a whole lot of trouble, time and money and buy elsewhere.

Only gave you one star because it's the only way I could write a review on you lying thieving low scumbags.

DON'T give these mongrels a cent , I paid and ordered a pool table at the start of August ...... Nothing

No one gets back to you, and if they do it's just a generic response to string you along.

Taking this matter further to try and get a refund and not let this happen to anyone else.

Very low cost but I got good quality. Thanks to Renee who is very helpful!

Abysmal customer service and highly scammy with fake tracking numbers, continuous back-and-forth about stock availability, offers for extra discounts to wait "just a bit longer", and mixed messaging. After ordering an item over two months ago, not even an ETA has been provided. Currently waiting for "the refund to be forwarded to our accountant".

Thankfully American Express is much more prompt and resolved the dispute immediately.

Save yourself a headache, don't do business with these folks.

Worst purchase experience I've ever had buying something. Paid over 3 month ago, no item received. Told by business they would look into it, then no response. I've had emails ignored. I even got an automated email not long after the purchase saying the item was begin shipped (lol). The customer service is terrible and I've been ripped off. Do not buy from T&R Sports! There are better businesses out there that will put you first.

Absolute rubbish quality products.
We purchased the primo 16 table tennis, gave it to the kids for Christmas December 21, so at time of contacting T&R the product was 15 months old.
All of the legs are welded to a cross brace at the bottom with attached caster wheels. This weld is so badly done that 1 of the legs has cleanly snapped off at the weld.
it couldnt be a cleaner snap and clearly a manufacturing fault.
This table has been used all of about 10 times, folded up 3 times as designed and always stored in the garage.
Now T&R are happy to sell you an extended warranty for 5 years, or even give you an extra 1 year if you share them on socials, so the average consumer would expect the product is of good quality and it would last a minimum of 5 years. This is not the case, they refuse to do anything about the clear manufacturing fault, telling us we have had "years" of use out of it, not sure how 15months in "years of use". they then have basically said to bad you should have purchased the extended warranty.
Unfortunately I now have to waste everyone's time with Fair Trading, luckily for the consumers there is a thing called Statutory Warranty in Australia, and the fact T&R clearly think their products should last a minimum of 5 Years as this is what extended warranty you can purchase.
I'm sure they will reply like the other reviews above blaming the install, the user and everything else possible. Be warned if you are considering this or any products on their website, find somewhere else to purchase this seems like a dodgy drop-ship company that imports rubbish quality products and then wont stand by them even if they clearly have a manufacturing fault.

Purchased a AKEZ electric folding bike from this store in mid 2022.

GOOD:
The products they sell are unbelievably well priced products for their quality - whether it's an electric bike or other sports related products, all good value. Yes, more than 99% of the products they sell (if not 100%) are Chinese brand products manufactured in China, probably this is the reason why. This online store has a warehouse at Smithfield (Sydney), Willawong (Brisbane) and at Mulgrave (Melbourne)

BAD:
- Dishonest reviews and support.
- Terrible product manual
Before buying the AKEZ folding electric bike from this store, I've asked them whether they can assemble the bike for me so that I can pick up the preassembled bike and ride the bike straight away.
Then, I have received an email from a lady named "Man**". She said "The cost involved with the unpacking/assembly of the bike is $49. If you are willing to share you good experience on google review, we will try to apply free assembly you."
So after leaving a Good - 5 star - fake product review at google my business, I told her that I've left a good Google review and went to the Sydney warehouse for picking up the pre-assembled bike 2 days later.
Well, the people at the Sydney warehouse gave me the bike in an unpacked box, un-assembled. The box looked like it has just arrived Australia from China.
So, I asked them why they haven't assembled the bike for me and the Chinese man could not reply to my questions because he could not speak any English, not even a single word.
After bringing the bike sealed inside the box home, I unopened the box, assembled the bike myself.
The assembly manual which came with the bike was terribly written.
In fact, it wasn't actually the assembly manual specifically written for the AKEZ folding electric bike which I purchased but the manual was for a TAOCI non-foldable electric bike.
The person who created the assembly manual tried to put all assembly information in one A4 paper (in order to save paper and colour toner), many of the important steps of the assembly were missing - the information for folding/unfolding the bike, using safety pin to prevent folded the bike while riding and fastening/tightening the handle were all missing.
The manual didn't even include the instruction on how to turn ON the bike - it is fairly tricky to turn on the bike - it is a 3 step process.
I can see why the instruction/assembly manual didn't include all these important information - the manufacturer of the bike wanted to put/use a same instructional manual for all different types of electric bikes they produce and because the method of starting the bike and folding/unfolding the bike, securing the bike were DIFFERENT for each different model of the bike they produce, the instruction manual could not contain all these information.

CONCLUSION
- The google reviews for this trsports.com.au online store are bribed - not trustworthy (don't trust Chinese pandas)
- The products they sell are indeed, very well priced and the products they sell do work fine. (I LOVE PANDAS!)
- Even if they say they will assemble the bike or other products for the customer they may not do it for you (Pandas are lazy)
- Assembling the products purchased from this online store is real pain in the body part, users MUST be careful to check the safety of the product after assembly, BEFORE using the product. (Beware of panda products)
