Paying subscribers beware: Truecaller sells a 'Trusted Call' feature to businesses, allowing them to bypass the spam blocking that you pay for as a premium user.

I signed up to stop unwanted calls. Instead, I'm still receiving them — just labelled differently. You cannot block or opt out of these 'Trusted Calls' through any setting in the app.

Truecaller is essentially charging users for protection, while selling businesses a way around it. That's not a premium service — it's a conflict of interest.

Really poor experience. I tried cancelling the trial several times and they stalled and didn't resolve it.

Luckily I could cancel the virtual card and avoid any charges.

Stay away from this company, they are quite close to scamming.

True Caller cannot be accessed. It is likely a SCAM as is the National and PA Do Not Call Lists.

Lo uso da anni ormai, ma mi rendo conto che è totalmente inutile su iPhone. Anche aprendo l'app, non riesce neanche a caricare in modo rapido la lista delle ultime chiamate.

Davvero un app fantastica, riesco ad evitare tutte le chiamate spam e truffa,ne ho provate altre gratuite,ma nessuno all' altezza di questa,la consiglio vivamente,io ho i servizio base non a pagamento

Truecaller skyddar mig ifrån bedrägerier och telefonförsäljning och annat skräp. Underbart att känna sig trygg i sin egen telefon. Värt varje krona för Premium. Många extra funktioner dessutom som inspelning och assistans.

Se installi l'app il tuo numero entrerà a far parte di liste di numeri "verificati" (se installi l'app è ovvio che il tuo numero sia reale, non una data sim o numeri inutilizzati), quindi di valore, che poi vengono vendute dai data brokers a svariate società di telemarketing. L'app non funziona, è solo un sistema per creare queste liste. Se la installi non solo non ti proteggerà, ma le chiamate di telemarketing aumenteranno. Ancor di più quando la disinstalli. Non installatela assolutamente!

Misleading trash.. Free reverse call lookup and then puts it behind a wall then tries to get all kinds of info from you. Gtfo

Wrong names are coming when i call and the country too are different

ne ho provate un po' di app simili ma è 10giorni che ho installato true caller e devo dire che mi blocca tutti i numeri esteri e già è buona cosa,
poi mi sta bloccando un po' di chiamate spam.
fino ad ora 19-12-25 da 10giorni , true caller sta facendo un buon lavoro.

Having given Truecaller every opportunity to prove itself for the past TWO YEARS, this disastrous outfit has proved only that it is an utter failure!

Not even redeemed by a costly Premium subscription, Truecaller is an outright waste of money, patience and data. Clients benefit not one iota and indeed are forced to do all the hard slog themselves in identifying and manually blocking between 15 to 30 calls every single day. This is what Truecaller is supposed to do anyway - one or two violations a month might be acceptable, but hundreds a week is unconscionable!

Furthermore, Truecaller is openly hostile to its own clients, victimizing and blaming them for its manifest hourly collapses.

Thank goodness there are increasingly infinitely better options like AT&T's ActiveArmor. Even one's own vigilance using your phone's blocking functions is far more effective than Truerubbish will ever be. Save yourself the cost and personal humiliation and avoid Truecaller completely.

This company abuses Google's DMCA takedown system to remove content about it from the web. And seeing the reviews here, I can see why. Scam app.

I subscribed and paid for premium protection, at first all unknown callers were blocked but recently this completely changed. Poor response from the support team and spam calls not flagged or blocked by the app. I have raised a formal complaint and will escalate to the ICO.

Too pushy to ensure you except Cookies and then to download the App. Even to try it out for free you have to install/download.
Bit of overkill and doesn't give you the option to see if it actually works first and can chase a number!
