Hired a van 4 years ago, I took the full highest amount of insurance out, and said tonthe gentleman who served us, are we covered for any event as I was travelling to Scotland for 2 weeks.

On the last night of my trip my van was parked on the same hill as it had been for the 2 weeks.

Handbrake light was fully on. I started loading the van with luggage, I was in the rear of the van and it started rolling down hill towards other cars and vans. I had no option to jump put the side door and into the drivers seat to slam the breaks on.

Fast forward 4 years I had bailiffs from the high Court turn up and threaten to take my personal belongings (over a passenger door dent), in the end I was forced to pay over 2.6k in damages and costs!!!!!!

Absolutely disgusting, they have caused me nothing but stress all over a dented passenger door, that I was insured for originally!!!! They tried to say I was negligent and it was my fault!!!!!

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES HIRE A VEHICLE FROM HERE

They even sent me an email with someone else that they are trying to fleece money from that was insured!!!!!

They are a total scam!!!!!

They play us, and use the system to thier advantage by taking money from normal people knowing fine well they can abuse it.

Hired a van from your Bristol branch couldn't have been easier friendly staff and very efficient would recommend your company to anyone wanting to hire a vehicle

Despite the vehicle having many battle scars and nearing the end of its hire fleet life, mechanically it could not be faulted. The staff at the depot were professional and friendly making the experience easy. I will be using this company every time I need a hire vehicle.

OK so the van was pretty new, had obviously had a hard short working life, but was fine for a round trip from Southampton to London to move my sons gear, smooth, nippy and a surprising good music system - well done Ford!! Handover was polite, quick and easy, no problems. HOWEVER - only when I got home did I check the rear load space and it was a bl**dy mess! Clearly it had been used previously by a builder or someone to shift a load of gravel. Whilst it had been swept and ‘sort of’ cleaned, it was simply not clean enough to shift personal possessions and walk in and out from. I thus spent about an hour mopping it clean then hosing out the mess - luckily the hard plastic load bay cover made that easy, and the very warm weather meant it dried out quick enough. But quite simply UDrive should have checked it fully and got it cleaned up better and if necessary charge-back the previous customer for a proper clean. To add insult - when I spoke with the area booking office (not branch), their ‘excuse’ was that as they are very busy, the demands of quick turnarounds means they only have time for the anti-Covid fog sanitising clean …..I’m sorry, thats a totally lame excuse! Stop using Covid as an excuse for failings in providing a professional service! Hence 3 Stars.

The process was very easy and flexible as I had to change my booking due to circumstances beyond my control.

Always use this firm if I need to hire a vehicle...

Excellent service, the pick up and drop off for the one day hire was really straight forward. Very good rates and great communication about what was required in terms of ID and deposit. Polite and helpful staff on the phone for the booking and on site for collection.

I had a last minute need for a van to help a family member move. The online service was extremely easy to use. The young woman on the reception of the Fareham branch was very polite, thorough and courteous. Didnt rush me in checking all of the particulars before taking the van away and the full deposit was back in my account in 48 hours. Very happy, would 100% use again. Well done Fareham branch.

Quick and easy to book. Straight forward collection - they even had the van running on a super cold day to warm it up for me. Very friendly staff at the Fareham branch. Ran through everything and were clear about terms for any additional charges if you qualified for them. Drop off out of hours option available, which is very helpful to make the most of the day hire, and was very straightforward. Would happily use Udrive again.

hired Luton van to move my daughter the date got changed this was no problem staff was very helpful rearranged ,when I collected van it was clean and ready to go girl at reception was professional and organised was in and out within half hour , drove it from Fareham to west Yorkshire no problem everything was working well ,returned it late evening used key drop box and deposit was back in my bank within couple days would definitely use this company again

I hired a car from the Fareham branch, friendly staff, very helpful, and reasonably priced. Would hire from them again.

Booking system on line and confirmation process was flawless. Our booked vehicle wasn’t available on the day due to an engine light issue so we were offered reasonable alternatives and compensated for inconvenience. Impeccable customer service received. Ability to drop and leave keys in safe was very welcome. Good experience all round.

Fair price, clean and modern vehicle, easy booking and collection with minimal paperwork. The price quoted is the price paid with no forced add ons. Highly recommended.

Perfect, I was in dire straights during a house move and needed another van, booked online late one evening, I turned up the next morning, and the lady behind the counter could not have helped me more, She (sorry I did not catch her name) but she helped me locate a van at short notice, and got me sorted.

Nothing was an issue, and I was in the van within 15 mins, saved my life.

So thank you for U-Drive and the Fareham branch for your help !!!! 5 Stars
