U-Drive | Car, Van, Minibus & Truck Hire - Salisburyレビュー 

I paid my £100 deposit, but only received £70 back. I was told that "scratches" had appeared on the vehicle in the 3 hours that I had it. They hadn't. I sent them 2 emails 7 days apart and they didn't have the courtesy to reply to either of them. I have subsequently discovered that I am not alone in falling foul of this sharp practice. They need to learn that ripping their customers off is not a good business model.

Exceptional service and assistance. Another firm let me down and with just two hours to find another car and to get to Stonehenge for a tour they delivered a service efficiently and without fuss. Andrea was polite and helpful, helping me decide to choose the collision upgrade as traffic is quite high in the holidays. The paperwork they needed was reasonable and did not make me feel like a criminal filing out my probation paperwork.

Thanks so much for rescuing our holiday. I'm not crass enough to mention which company let us down but I feel the enterprise I used in finding u drive was worthwhile! The phone service pre booking was excellent too.

Helpful and with ease

U-Drive saved my Christmas after a competitor here company let me down. Their service was friendly, efficient and very helpful. I would totally recommend. I could not fault their service!

Asked for a long wheelbase high top vehicle, was informed they had one, I must admit I was in a rush, but in the office I said no way that's a long wheelbase its a medium, I was due to clear a property that's why I asked for a long wheelbase, drove 25 miles to collect it, the lady said, that's how they make a long wheelbase now, it's definitely a long wheelbase.! It was absolutely a medium wheelbase not big enough for the job by a long way. When a called to complain, they did not care one jot, and offered me another van which they called a "jumbo" which was again the same medium based van! Apparently udrive call the vans their own up made up category not what they are listed as by the manufacturer! So be careful if you need a large van, you will get a medium. Had hired for 7 days, taking it back the same day! What a waste of time and money! Never again, and by the amount one 1 star reviews wish I had checked first!!

UDrive. We hired a Ford Luton body van with a tail lift to carry out a local house move on agreed terms. We were charged a price which we paid a Collision damage waver which was included in the hire price on the invoice. We were told that there was to be included in the hire a £100 deposit which according to the terms and conditions. At the hand over the vehicle check over the later issue with the drivers wing mirror assembly which was noted as damaged before driving off. We were not told about any parameters with the collision damage waver especially any upper and lower limit costs until we had a issue with a Ambulance vehicle on an emergency lightly clipping the drivers mirror and the small mirror which is stock on normally came off. On arrival back we informed the branch of the issue but to be told that we were free to go and no issues because it quote : happens all the time and spares are held at the branch. We were told that the deposit will be repaid in 3-5 days. This did not happen and i waited a few more days and contacted the branch only to be told that there was an issue in that the mirror was missing. We were told the deposit was being used for damaged even though we paid the insurance cost. We were after the hire told the collision waver just drops the liability from £1,000 down to £150. The damage should have been covered with the insurance. The mirror cost to buy can be bought for £12.00 on the net. We lost £39.23 for the mirror and cost to fit it plus £30.00 admin fee. We were not told or pointed to the card attached to the receipt that states to get as much detail of the offending person and vehicle details etc. How can we chase after a Ambulance or get its registration and drives names when in less that a minute its gone. i woul not recommend Udrive to hire.

Have used the Van and Car hire service from the Salisbury branch a few times. Really friendly team there, who make it easy and explain things clearly. Vehicles always spotlessly clean on pick up. Highly recommended

I was visiting from Finland and needed to hire a car for one day to visit rural villages. Quite shocked by the outrageous cost to hire from the big name rental company in Salisbury, I was relieved to find U-Drive offering a substantial saving thanks to more than half the daily hire cost and longer Saturday opening hours (avoiding a full weekend hire).
I was given detailed information about hire requirements (different for a driver with a non-UK licence), which make the pickup process fairly painless.
The Fiat 500 was in very good condition and a pleasure to drive.
Returning the car the next day was also quick and easy.
I would have no hesitation using U-Drive again and recommend them to others.

I have hired several vehicles from UDrive and everything has gone very well each time.

Impressed with customer service as following arrival to collect and subsequent enquiry the initial reservation was changed last minute to a more suitable size.
Vehicle was in excellent condition and performed very well.

Local company, van availability, no fuss booking in or returning it. Van was easy to drive.

U Drive saved the day! After a very last minute cancellation from Enterprise I was stuck! I called the UDrive team just before 6pm and they couldn’t have been more helpful. They were able to source me a van and guarantee me that it was available for the very next morning. When we arrived the team were quick to complete the paperwork so we could head off and make up the time lost from enterprise. The handover was simple and easy with a full pre check of the van given. All information was passed over to us with great detail and any questions we had answered. The experience from start to finish couldn’t have gone better or smoother. Thank you 😊
