Brilliant experience
I chose United carpets to carpet a full house, staff in store were very friendly, helpful and kept me up to date with the order of the carpets. The man who came to do the measurements was excellent I think his name was Tibor. The two men who came to fit the carpets, Gavin and Liam were brilliant and did a fantastic job, couldn’t be more happier. Massive thank you to you all.

Everything went to plan and funding agreement was helpful. Maybe a bit more info on what preparation is needed before fitter arrive would be good. But all good.

Bad lighting …
I thought I’d purchased a beige carpet but when it was fit it was grey ? The lighting in the shop must of been deceiving. I’ll be saving up again and changing it as it does not go with my decor.

Disappointed with fitting, supposed to come at 9am didn't arrive till 5pm, also carpet has "walked sine and doesn't lay flat in places

I ordered some new flooring for my…
I ordered some new flooring for my conservatory not cheap stuff good stuff and a carpet for my hallway I was told it would be 5 to 10 days when I ordered it on the 19th of October Iv rung them 3 times now and they say that they are still waiting for the delivery of the flooring being delivered last week when I rang they said it would arrive this week. Iv just rang again to be told it should arrive sometime next week that's what I was told last week. They have booked it in for fitting on the 17th so I don't miss a fitters slot even though they say it hasn't come yet. Iv told him that if it isn't fitted then or before then I want my money back. What a disgusting way to treat a customer who's had to pay up front. Won't advise anyone to use United carpets Keighley.

Ordered 2 lots of vinyl forgot to order it!
Ordered 2 lots of vinyl. Told 7 to 10 days. Rang on tenth day to be told "oh sorry they were both out of stock" so a week more wait to be fit. You mean... you forgot to order it as you had to ask which colour was it again? Should have been truthful.
Fitters are a great set of lads. Quick, tidy and professional.

Just a bit “slack”
We ordered a hard wood floor of which was paid and ordered straight away. Got told would be in touch to arrange fitting as it could be 5 weeks wait time. 3 weeks passed and no call back so chased and nothing had been booked- ended up sourcing own fitter.
Few weeks later floor arrived and it wasn’t the floor we ordered. After the shop trying to convince us it was and later telling us it had been discontinued- we were asked “if we wanted it or not”. Sent it back and asked for full refund.
Classic 101 of poor customer service.
Real shame as they fitted our carpets in the house a few months ago without issue.

Carpet fitters let this company down
Bloke in shop was fine, but I was getting contradictory messages from the other chap.
The carpet fitters was awful, rude, rummaged through my cupboards to help themselves to make a brew, the house was empty and we wasn’t there as we hadn’t moved in - but when they decided there wasn’t any milk they just left the cups with teabags and sugar in on the worktop.
They also asked me to pay another lad the money, he ‘joked’ they was tax dodging.
He then told me that some homes use cheap paint and paper and it becomes chipped, what he was actually telling me was they’d damaged my wallpaper in two places and chipped numerous bits of paint off. I didn’t like their attitude, I didn’t like the way he spoke to me, and the job was rushed and mediocre. These guys are independent to the carpet shop though, but it does reflect sadly on my review

Great experience from start to finish, the salesman recommended the type of carpet we should be looking at for hall and stairs, good price and fitters were brilliant.

When the carpet fitters turned up at my house to fit my selected carpet, they announced that the carpet they had would not fit as it was too small.

Terrible service from one of the sales…
Terrible service from one of the sales staff we had to deal with more than once.
Carpet in one of the rooms needs replacing as it's become uneven and not lying flat. The nails used to secure threshold strips have been drilled at an angle and not safe to step on.
