Fitters turned up to fit the flooring but didn't have any silicone on the van to seal the floor??????
Ended up getting some of my own for them to use.

Had my herringbone fitted in the lounge and tartan Wilton on the stairs looks amazing and great experience from both the shop and the fitting definitely be returning for the remainder of down stairs flooring

Great time in the store, really helpful guy and very reasonable carpets. Fitter was really not the best. He damaged my skirting boards and didn't fasten the carpet or gripper rods down properly. I won't use again because of this fitter

In store the gentleman was very helpful polite and knowledgeable the instalation team were courteous prompt and efficient

The Kirkby branch had the style and shade of the flooring we were looking for. Sales personnel were not pushy but very helpful with advice and realistic delivery times. Their flooring fitters were excellent helping to move the furniture and removed the old carpet. 5 star service.

I cannot praise Jamie at Kirkby -in-Ashfield branch enough, he made picking a carpet easy without any pressure and nothing was too much trouble, if only there were more people like him .

We have recently purchased 2 bedroom carpets (including underlay) from the Kirkby in Ashfield store. All members of staff in store are polite, friendly and knowledgeable. We were able to browse amongst a large range of roll ends (carpets by the square metre are also available) and were asked if we'd managed to find something suitable after around 10 minutes, which shows that the staff are aware of customers but not being pushy. We were then shown several underlay options and received advice to help us choose the most suitable for our needs.
The fitters arrived at the time stated and worked quickly and tidily, asking us if we were happy with what they'd done before leaving.
The carpet prices were also very competitive and fitting was free!
I would definitely recommend and will be back in the next year to purchase a new stair carpet.

More than helpful. Only needed 2 small pieces to patch a couple of carpets and one bit he gave us free. Went round all thr carpets to help colour match

Had a fantastic experience with united carpets (kirkby in Ashfield store). They were eager to help and gave realistic and detailed advice on all flooring, we were having a whole house done so needed laminate, carpet and vinyl. The price was considerably cheaper than their competitors but with better quality. Would highly recommend!

So after doing a bit of decorating, in the final few brush strokes my fella dropped the paint tray! Splatter of white matt emulsion down three steps to the bottom of the stairs - could've cried! So legged it to United and the guy there said they'd got a fitting slot for B'hol Monday (this being Fri before) so less then 3 days wait. Very reasonably priced and professional throughout the whole transaction. Fitter arrived at the time they texted me with - infact 30 mins earlier which wasn't an inconvenience at all. We live in a 1925 terrace house and the fitter laughed off the fact that not one step on the stairs were the same measurement. Top landing carpet and all the stairwell fitted perfect. Used United twice before, this being the 3rd and will definitely use them again.

United carpets are always our first choice.

Following on from my previous review, yet again, outstanding service. I had my whole house recarpeted. I received a phonecall by the fitter (Dave) to say that he was 20 minutes away. From the moment Dave and another young man stepped foot in my house, they worked non stop. There were a couple of obstacles along the way but Dave went above and beyond in rectifying these obstacles (taking internal doors off and shaving the bottom). I honestly cannot speak highly enough of United Carpets (Kirkby) and would not hesitate in recommending this company. My whole experience from choosing the carpets to them being fitted has been exceptional.

Jamie of the Low moor road Branch Kirkby in Ashfield was amazing and helped the local Scouts renew the floor covering in the kitchen area of the Scout hut thanks again from all the Scouts

I first want to say that I first went to the United Carpets store which is in Kirkby in Ashfield to get a quote for a new double bed & replacement carpet for my main bedroom, just over 4 years ago. This was not long after my wife died. The staff in the store were really very helpful & understanding. Unfortunately I was not able to get the bed & carpet sorted. My order was finally dealt with on the 27th March when my carpet was delivered & fitted, the 2 fitter's did a wonderful job & I'm very happy with the quality of there work. My new bed was delivered on 1st April, the 2 delivery person's did a wonderful job in making sure the bed was fully assembled & also took all of the packaging. They left everything spotless before they left. As a military veteran this was made possible due to grant I received from the British Limbless Ex-Serviceman's Association, this is a charity that support's all have who suffered limb loss in service & even after they have left the military. Once more I'd just like thank you to all at United Carpets for there fantastic standered of service & I would happily recommend United Carpets to anyone.

Very helpful in the Kirkby shop and very well priced. The Capet for my sons new room looks lovely and has been fitted perfectly.

Polite service from within the store, to the man laying the carpet. We managed to get a good reasonable price on a good quality carpet and underlay from the staff at Kirkby in Ashfield (recommend) received notice of arrival to lay the carpet and was carried out to a good standard. Only minor negative was once job was done, it was as though he had a call to leave to another job, so there was scattered rolls and random carpet cuts everywhere in every room, with glue spray can lids floating about. Abit of tlc and tidying after a job never goes a miss but overall, FABULOUS
