Abysmal customer service. Avoid.
Abysmal customer service. Ordered LVT with a 15 year warranty. Relaid once but now have issues again with separation and de-lamination.
Numerous emails ignored by branch and head office so having to pursue via small claims.
Store staff don’t have any autonomy to make decisions without the blessing of the manager who makes empty promises and fails to get back to you. Would avoid at all costs.

Good customer service
Good customer service, friendly shop staff. Arrived when said it would. Only issue I had which is not their fault is that my son couldn't actually sleep on the bed saying it was way too hard and uncomfortable. So in the end was a lot to pay out for a bed I couldn't use 😔

Timely, professional and good value
I was impressed with the staff in branch who offered helpful and direct advice, not trying to upsell but giving me straight advice for a product within my budget range. They organised installation at a reasonable price and the fitter turned up and did a nice tidy job with no fuss. Overall a very professional and refreshing experience where everything went to plan and they did exactly as promised.

Very quick, came round, gave a quote and carpets were down within 4 days. Carpet fitter was very tidy, left no mess.

Fantastic customer service. The lads in the shop (CrossGates) branch, were extremely helpful, didn't pressure us into the dearest stuff, they left us to pick our own materials and were helpful in informing us regarding price, labour and delivery dates

After been recommended by family to…
After been recommended by family to take a look at United carpets and beds to carpet my two bedroom flat. I was greeted by Ian with some great advice, not pushy, didn't rush me, arranged someone to come and measure up that same week then I was told to go back in my own time to choose my carpet and underlay and was given a very good price. Carpet fitter Mike, amazing did it all on his own, very polite, left no mess, even the inside of my built in cupboards were carpeted. Fully recommend, amazing service, I would certainly go there again. Many thanks.

Nothing wrong with the service but my…
Nothing wrong with the service but my son finds the bed really uncomfortable and cannot sleep well. I have just had to order a mattress topper to see if that improves it. It may be better once he's broke the bed in a bit as still only been about 4 weeks.

Brilliant
This was my first time using this company. We needed a carpet for our stairs and landing. The branch we went to was at Cross Gates in Leeds.
From the outset the process was really positive and pleasant. The salesmen and lady were friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. We told them our budget and they worked with us. We were allowed to take several samples home to colour match to our decoration. The manager came out and measured. We were unsure as to whether we'd need new underlay but he told us we did and explained why. However he said we didn't need new gripper or door plates as ours were fine which was refreshingly transparent and honest. We chose our carpet and were told it would be fitted in 2-3 weeks. This estimate was spot on. United don't charge you for delivery. We've paid between £20 & £40 to other companies. In the time they said they contacted us to arrange fitting. They offered to send the fitter the following day if we wanted which was perfect for us.
The following day we received a call from the fitter, Martin. With United you pay the fitter for his services on satisfactory conclusion. He told us when he would be with us and turned up on time. This guy was absolutely excellent. Fitting a stair carpet can be challenging even for the professionals but he went to real trouble to ensure the stairs and landing were fitted absolutely perfectly. I've had several stair carpets in the 45 years we've lived here but never one more perfectly fitted. It took him 2½ hours. He was great, courteous friendly and helpful and had 40 years experience in the trade. The remnants were nearly bagged up before he left.
We need 3 bedroom carpets and will definitely be asking United and Martin to supply and fit them. We know we got the best service from all of them. It's great when you actually get to deal with a good company like this.

First class friendly service from start to finish. We were not looking forward to the fitting as we were having the whole house done. The fitter was very helpful, experienced and friendly. The whole thing went much more smoothly than we feared. Thank you all very much.

Great carpet and helpful sales staff
Great carpet, super soft and warm, everyone who has seen it has commented on how nice it is. Really helpful sales staff, great fitting also. Only issue was communication after sales, had to chase if carpet was ready and took longer than initially advised. Overall very happy though.

Great carpets that we're fitted well
Great carpets that we're fitted well. I knocked stars off as they left the long cardboard tubes in my front garden saying they'd come back for them. They are still there now....
