Not very good quality for the price I paid

Visited the Lincoln store with a general idea of what I wanted. The staff were superb and offered to bring samples of a range of colours to the house. When they came, again superb service. Carpet and underlay now fitted and looks great - and thanks to Stuart for the fitting. Great value all round!

We are very satisfied with the quality of our new carpet and bed head. The choosing and ordering process was easy and efficient. However there was apparently a lack of communication between the two departments. We were told the bed head would arrive separately to the carpet which we we arranged to have fitted several weeks after ordering. The bed head hadn’t arrived after 3 weeks so I rang to enquire after it. It seems the carpet department hadn’t passed the Oder on to the bed department. Therefore had I not rung when I did who knows when or if we’d have received it. We had paid the full amount on ordering I might add.
The day came to fit the carpet and the two men carried it into the bedroom and said they thought they should leave it in the warmth of the room overnight to soften up and have it fitted the following day! The reason they said was because it might scratch the bedroom furniture. We weren’t too pleased as we had made plans to be out the following day. Anyway we covered the furniture and they reluctantly agreed to lay the carpet. The time was 4pm!! They did do a very efficient job and very quickly and no damage made to the furniture!Thankfully they helped to carry the bed mattress back into the room for us.

The product is fantastic
The bedroom doors were taken off by the fitters and not put back on.
Told that they needed to be planned at £20 per door but the couldn't do it as they ar fire doors
At this point I was anoyed that non of the salesmen had mentioned this in the showroom

We bought a new carpet from here and had one of their fitters to put it down for us, and we can't fault the service. He was friendly and did a top notch job. It's a lovely carpet that was a good price and we are over the moon with it. 5 stars all round from us!

The individual fitter who installed the new carpet on 10/09/24, did an excellent and efficient job, we would definitely recommend him for future use.

Quick work, adaptable with fitting dates

Staff listened to my requirements and kept within my budget. Found the carpet I was after at a sensible price. Would use again and recommend to friends & family

Team worked hard to fit Lino under tight units but I was a bit disappointed that the expensive Lino was rolled out on the drive way and not swept before bringing into the house. Been laid now with pieces of grit under neath. Staff also needed to cut lino through a doorway and used a silver grip bar which does not match the brass strip as has been used in the next door way onto the hallway. Just would have given a better finish.

Great service, good value and nice carpet!

Recently bought a new build and United Carpets fitted the house with carpets and fitted vinyl in the kitchen and downstairs bathroom. Also purchased a mattress off them. Really happy with the carpets, the fitters did a fab job. Was also really happy with the price. However, the kitchen vinyl was laid over something sharp and was close to poking a hole through the flooring. I contacted the store about it and they said to email and send pictures through which I have, but they aren’t replying. This has now left a hole in the flooring. I was also told the mattress would be delivered but hadn’t heard anything regarding the delivery a week after the carpets were fitted. After calling the store over 7 times and constantly being told they would look into this and call me back I was finally told it was in fact at the store and needed collecting so had to drive a 50 mile round trip to collect this.
