In store was fine however..
My experience in store when picking my carpets and flooring was fine customer service was great, however when it came to fitting I was a little dissatisfied, I feel like not much care was taken when laying flooring etc scuffs and adhesive and carpet fibres stuck on my walls/skirting, on my stairs underneath the carpet is lumpy and on one step on my stairs the carpet is tucked right round the edge of the step but not on the rest, and the carpet in one of the bedrooms has a big crease in it and dosent sit properly, also doorbars are not fixed down. Quite disappointed on the fitting side but had to just move in and never got round to complaining so can't comment on customer service regarding complaints.

AVOID United Carpets and go elsewhere!
We had LVT fitted throughout the house downstairs just before Christmas and have had nothing but issues from the very beginning. The LVT has been left absolutely covered in adhesive residue, alot of planks are continually coming unstuck in different areas and the finish is highly unprofessional.
We have tried to be fair and gave the store the chance to send a different fitter round a couple of weeks ago to address all of the issues but unfortunately for us, most of the issues have either been made worse or have been ignored.
We paid a lot of money for materials and fitting and expected a floor that would last at least 10-15 years+. Instead, we been left with a floor that looks absolutely terrible and is already failing after just 2 months.
To top it off, the complaints process seems totally ineffective so avoid yourself the hassle I'm currently having to endure and look elsewhere before you also end up out of pocket and very disappointed!
At this point, the only decent thing United Carpets could do is give us a full refund!

The 2 men worked quickly and…
The 2 men worked quickly and efficiently. They cleared most of the rubbish out but did leave some that I had to ask my daughter to deal with as I am disabled.

The people in the shop were fine and…
The people in the shop were fine and very friendly but the people who fitted it made lots of mistakes and didn’t glue it down correctly. They seemed in a rush and we had to take it up and put it down properly.

Beautiful carpet
Beautiful carpet. So thick and lush under foot and soft for a bedroom. The carpet fitters were very professiona, fast workers and very helpful and polite.

On day of fitting my flooring in…
On day of fitting my flooring in bathroom your fitters chipped my new pedalstool under sink ,they put some white filler over it to cover it up. Once they left my property I couldn't prove it .I was so upset over it I won't use this company again it cost me money to replace it and have it fitted again .

Disgusting level of customer service…
Disgusting level of customer service lied to multiple times by different people fitting was promised to be 10 o’clock in the morning they didn’t turn up into 2:30 in the afternoon rang the shop lied to multiple times. They told me that they was on the way and there be there by 12 rang up again they told me they’ll be there in 10 minutes lied to again and again 1 o’clock because they didn’t turn up lied again too didn’t turn up until after 2 o’clock, waste my day completely never use it ever again complete waste of time completely incompetent people

Poor sales team. Waited almost a month for carpet. Poor correspondence, flippant attitude when calling and raising concerns. Was told they couldn’t find order paperwork when I went to shop. Diabolical service.

Helpful shop staff rude telephone staff
Great quality carpets happy with our choice. Price we paid was very responsive and shop floor staff very helpful and professional however when we phoned on the delivery day for an update on what time the fitter would be arriving we encountered a very rude unhelpful older man on the phone who because of his attitude cost the shop more sales as we had decided to carpet the rest of our home. We went elsewhere for the rest of the carpet we needed all due to the attitude of the elder man on the phone.
