Never ever deal with this company. They attract you in with promises of what is available but you have to give them your credit card details. They then charge you a small amount for 2 weeks trial. I could not find what was promised so immediately cancelled the subscription. 2 weeks later I suddenly got US$99 charged to my credit card. I immediately wrote to them and they claimed that I had not cancelled the subscription and even though I had and I had contacted them within 1 hour of the charge they refused to cancel and return my money.

I mistakenly created two accounts on their website. I filled out the form to cancel my subscription but only one account was deleted. I saw on my credit card bill that they billed me 100 Euro. I got in touch with them but they didn't help and didn't give me my money back. I was so mad.
One year later I get the final reminder to pay because the account was apparently still on going.

I talked to legal advice and they told me to send them a letter saying that this contract does not exist and I never intended on paying for it. And then ignore all their messages. She says that it's too much effort for them to investigate address etc and go to court. But I am still scared.

It's such a shame that there are not stricter laws for scam like this.

Angeblich wurde mein Buch "Laripuz Abenteuer und andere Geschichten" 2048 mal heruntergeladen. Bin gespannt ob ich dafür Geld sehe. Damit will dieses Unternehmen Leute anlocken einen Vertrag abzuschließen, aus dem man dann nur schwer wieder herauskommt. Leider gibt es keine Möglichkeit solche Leute gerichtlich zu belangen

They are offering the book I sell on the web for free. Piracy, if indeed they have been able to convert to a pdf. (I tried to download to test the scam and they wanted me to register, which point I posted this review). Police in NL should arrest them.

They got me and I gave them my real information via Paypal.
I wrote them an email to info @ usenet.nl, I have called them by phone, I have completed several times their forms still no answer, I have canceled paypal auto payment and now I have recived letter where they threaten me with legal action its incredible ...
I am scared :(

It's scum. I couldn't find the article I wanted and it's impossible to cancel online. I froze all my cards and deleted them off of PayPal and from what I am reading they will bust my balls. I did not give my real name and allegedly PayPal protects your address. They do have my postal code but I am not too worried about it. Good luck finding me. A postal code where I am from is about 10 to 20 blocks with appartment buildings. It is worrisome what everyone says about debt collectors and threatening emails.. but it is what it is I guess. I'll have to pay to reissue all of my cards and I'm unemployed so every penny hurts to be spent.
You have to tick all the boxes and carefully click all the right buttons. And still make an international call, god knows how many people just give up and how much that call will cost me. To get through to them if you are not in the USA you call a number and get a german line. The fact that I know basic German helped me get through to a customer representative cause the prerecorded message was all in german and also extremely scratchy. She was insisting that she canceled my free trial and will email me a confirmation about it. The site stills says it's active which is alarming. Regardless, if I need to protect myself in any short of court the email and the call I placed I believe will protect me. Hopefully you won't fall for it.

Updated: about an hour later the account appears cancelled. I typed in a lawyer sounding very serious email to make sure to cover my back in case the debt collection claims ever come true. I will update everyone in 14 days if they try to do anything or ask for payment dispite the fact that the account appears inactive, my 1 call and 3 emails demanding cancelation and deletion under GDPR data protection. Let's hope that this is the end of it.

Ich hatte nur einen Test Zugang angemeldet. Im Ergebnis wurde ein Jahresabonnement daraus mit einer Abbuchung von 99,96 Euro ohne meine Zustimmung.

Cherchant un logiciel sur le net je suis tombé sur un forum de Usenet.nl. Il m'indiquait qu'un essai gratuit était possible (en rentrant un moyen de paiement bien entendu). Fuyez!! Une fois le contrat accepté on m'indique qu'il faut une lettre recommandée pour annuler l'abonnement. Je n'ai donc jamais accédé aux services proposés. Aujourd'hui il me demande de régler 125 euros avec frais de relance pour impayés! Quand je les appelle on m'annonce alors de contacter la police pour déposer une plainte si je ne suis pas à l'origine de l'acceptation des conditions générales. Je vais y aller à la Police, c'est sûr, mais pour leur parler de ces pratiques ordurières et néfastes à Internet.
C'est totalement insensé, la prochaine étape c'est de payer les sur-stocks des magasins, la baguette de pain du voisin ou encore la dernière vidéo Youtube "Je mange bleu pendant 24 heure"? Je paierai sans doute les salaires de ces fumistes incapables et orduriers de chez UseNet.nl, mais j'aurai préféré aidé des gens qui le méritent.

Do Not Use! I unfortunately signed up for Usenet.nl who took £87 from my account. I could not search for anything once enrolled so cancelled same day. I have received emails saying my refund will take upto 3 weeks to process and I am still waiting! any advice on how to get my money back is appreciated.

I signed up legitimately, used their service for a bit, even paid for a month. A while later I wanted to cancel, go to cancel form, they take you through a variety of webpages begging you to stay where the button to carry on the cancellation process is often very small and obscure and all the obvious click points stop the cancellation dead and you have to start the process again.

Then, *even when you've done this*, unlike ANY reputable company that accept online cancellation without question, you have to call them within their office hours (which may even be an international call for you) and doubtless then you will be given the hard sell over the telephone for however long (after all, if it was just to confirm the cancellation then they'd allow that on the website and save on the staff-answering-phone-calls costs). I'll be facing this tomorrow.

I'd paid through PayPal and cancelled the repeating authority after cancelling through the website didn't do anything (because of the lack of phone call so far), and now they are emailing me more and adding extra charges to the original costs.

Although the service when it worked was alright for the purposes I needed, NO properly legitimate and sensible company would make it this hard for a user to cancel when required.

I HAVE INFORMED YOU THAT I WANT TO CANCEL MY ACCOUNT WITH YOU ON YOUR WEBSITE - THAT SHOULD BE ENOUGH. IT'S ENOUGH FOR LITERALLY ANY OTHER NON-SCAM COMPANY.

After all, not everybody has the time (or the ability) to make an international telephone call to face a hard sell to stay simply to cancel an online service.

So I have been scammed by this site too and I've been told to ignore any emails of them. But it's more than a year later and they keep sending me reminders to pay. And are saying now they will involve collection agency's which will make my fine even more. They have our bank info and address. What should I do? Did anybody get rid of them?
