Charged me £147 for 5 days worth of painkillers and antibiotics for my cat. Already paid £500 the day before and came in just to collect the medication disgusted at the price being so clearly inflated for no reason

It was a very busy clinic and every one was very helpful and caring.

Saw vet within 30 mins of initial out of hours phone call. Very good service. Vet explained everything. Very friendly and great with my dog.

My dog was bitten by an adder on wednesday evening in the forest. I called en-route, arrived and the vet was waiting.

They did a thorough assessment, explained all the treatment and kept me updated when she was hospitalised.

Their amazing work and knowledge saved my dog's life.

Very quick appointment and a very professional and empathetic vet who was clear in her diagnosis
Louie was clearly treated very quickly even though the practice was busy that evening

Its ones nightmare when your beloved pet gets ill out of hours.
We were referred to Vets Now in Hadley, Shropshire. Met at the door by a very kind associate.
Our concerns regarding Toby were attended to with expert care. Meds administered and medicine to take home. Reassuring us of his medical needs.

Very caring and sympathetic to us and our dog with the difficult situation . Had no worries leaving our dog in their care.

I felt my dog was in safe hands as soon as I arrived, she was quickly examined and diagnosed and recommended treatments were carried out. Afterwards, things were helpfully explained and I left feeling much less concerned.

Prompt service through out from start to finish

Can’t thank the team enough at Vets now Glasgow. They have been kind and caring throughout the passing of our dog, anytime I’ve phoned with a question they were always more than helpful. All you need is kindness and that’s what we were shown during this sad time! Thank you all.

Vets now were absolutely brilliant with my Felix was really worried about my fur baby as he was having seizures and they eased my mind and told me he needed to go on two medication and I had to see my vet the next day my poor boy has just started to get epilepsy the staff were brilliant all of them keep up the good work many thanks 👍

Our dog received the best care BUT the cost is extortionate, I know they are an out of hours vets but I can’t see how the cost is justified

They misuse the people’s feelings and charge them very much . As they work at night shift so they understand very well that when someone needs their help at night it means they have no other option and nowhere else to get help from and they understand that the client can’t argue about this price they give him . They charged me more than 3 hundred pounds for giving me a five minutes useless consultation .

Couldn’t fault the veterinary care & the professionalism of the staff. However the cost is extortionate! Just over the moon that I still have my gorgeous cat thanks to them.

Our dog had collapsed and had to use out of hours for the first time. Can't fault the attention and kindness shown by the vet and the receptionist. The vet (Charlotte) had familiarised herself with our doggy's history although his condition was new. The diagnosis and options were clearly explained. Our boy is home for now and it's a case of wait for an improvement.

Putting aside any disappointment at the eye watering costs, when you pay this much you really ought to get quality service.

I recently took my puppy to them having swallowed a rubber glove, on arrival a lady barely acknowledged me, didn't introduce herself, though I was able to squint at her badge a determine she was a vet nurse.

She asked me why I was there, told me to weigh the puppy which I did, then disappeared out the back to return a few minutes later and tell me she'd take the dog out the back.

Wait I said - what are you proposing to do? She said they'd make the dog sick, fair enough but no consultation? No opportunity to ask questions? For a base fee of ~£350 for just the consultation - where's the actual consultation?

She then reappeared a few minutes later to say she probably should have told me the price and it would be £450.

10 minutes later she brings the puppy back out says all done and start to prepare paperwork, then throws out a casual - oh it's actually £594 because she's heavier. Heavier than what? I gave her actual weight the moment we arrived?? How can they be allowed to make up prices and expect you to pay without prior approval?

Very disappointing, the out of hours vet who used to operate out of my vets - Dragon Vets in Cheltenham - were pricey but superb. Based on this experiance the current outfit are shoddy and unpleasant money making factory.

For all I know the vet was excellent and caring, but since I never even saw them how would I know?

I'll be avoiding Vets Now in the future.

We have used Vets Now a few times now and have always found them welcoming and kind, whatever the time of night.

From the first telephone conversation, clear, reassuring instructions and message sent immediately with directions. Everything clearly explained and attentive listening to what I was saying. To Kirsty on reception team, although it was a long wait, well handled, professional and patient with everyone and their pets. Vet Alex was very quick to understand the needs and dealt with Charlie very swiftly and kindly. Clear instructions about medication and fees. Couldn't fault the service, very grateful that it is provided when there's nowhere else open. Thank you.
