I didn’t get my tickets til the day of the concert. The chatbot didn’t help, but i called their support and expressed my concern and anxiety on the day of the concert. About half an hour later I received my axs transfer. Luckily the axs transfer worked and i had one of the best nights of my life. But it was really down to the last few hours.

I was scammed, and they didn't refund me. It's hard to believe a business like this is still operating in 2026.

Disgustingly overpriced !!! Why can this happen !!! How do they get away with it !!!

I strongly recommend avoiding Viagogo, particularly when purchasing tickets for events in Australia.

I purchased 2 tickets through Viagogo for A$878.61. The original ticket price through the official ticketing platform was A$202.85 per ticket, meaning the original value of the two tickets was A$405.70. I therefore paid A$472.91 more than the original ticket price.

I found Viagogo when searching online for tickets, where the website appeared prominently through a sponsored advertisement. I later discovered that Viagogo was not the official ticketing platform for the event.

The event was subsequently rescheduled by 11 days. I cannot attend the new date due to work commitments.

The official ticketing platform provided customers who could not attend the rescheduled date with a refund option. I therefore contacted Viagogo and requested a refund.

Viagogo refused.

Their response was:

“Since the event was rescheduled and not cancelled, we are unable to provide a refund for the purchase. All sales are final on our website.”

I find this extremely disappointing. The event date I purchased tickets for was materially changed, I cannot attend the replacement date, and the official ticketing platform has provided a refund pathway, yet Viagogo has refused to assist.

I have now escalated the matter to my payment provider and am also reporting the circumstances to the relevant Australian consumer protection authorities for assessment.

My advice to other consumers: always check who the official ticketing provider is before purchasing. Don't assume the first result in a Google search is the official seller.

I would not use Viagogo again.

Shocking ! Bought 4 x tickets for Massive Attack, Melbourne 2026, well in advance (2 months).
Day was getting closer, so I contacted them. Only contact was a bot! No human contact was available. Harassed them for 2 days prior to the concert date and then on the day, 2 hours before the concert, I was informed that my tix would not be arriving! I was pulling into the venue carpark.
Tried again to access communication & was pretty well blocked.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND VIAGOGO!
Plus side was that I had an immediate refund of my over 1k tix. This however didn’t make up for the bad communication from them and our huge disappointment.

Be very careful with what you purchase as sellers can sell tickets for whatever price they want. I unknowingly bought 2 junior tickets at $97.73 when they say $22 on the actual ticket. It wasn't clear that they were junior tickets not adult tickets. I had to look closer to see this after the fact.
I didnt realise it was a buying and selling site for anyone.
Do not recommend buying from here.

Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience. I purchased tickets for the Karan Aujla show through this website and later discovered that I had paid $125 EXTRA PER TICKET compared with RAC. That is a massive difference, and I genuinely feel that customers are being taken advantage of.

I strongly regret not comparing the prices more carefully before purchasing. The pricing is extremely misleading and leaves customers feeling completely ripped off.

I would never use this website again, and I will absolutely not recommend it to my friends, family, or anyone else.

⚠️ My advice: DO YOUR RESEARCH and compare ticket prices with RAC and other authorised sellers before purchasing.

I recommend to never use Viagogo as the prompts on their website were incorrect. I purchased a ticket to the AFL game and they sent me a ticket for an AFLW game. I tried contacting them to be refunded and didn’t get a response.

If purchasing a ticket for any event DO NOT USE viagogo.

I feel completely ripped off by viagogo.
I specifically purchased what I believed were Top Deck seats for the MCG, but instead I was issued General Admission tickets. That is not what I paid for, and it's incredibly disappointing.
To make matters worse, their customer service is absolutely disgraceful. Getting a proper response or any meaningful assistance has been almost impossible. They seem more interested in taking your money than resolving legitimate customer complaints.
On top of that, the excessive handling fees charged per ticket are outrageous. After paying inflated prices and additional fees, you expect to receive exactly what was advertised—not something completely different.
This has been a frustrating and disappointing experience from start to finish. I would never use viagogo again and certainly wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
My advice: Avoid viagogo. Stick with Ticketek or the official ticket seller. You'll save yourself a lot of stress, unnecessary fees, and the risk of not getting the tickets you thought you were buying.

Bought tickets with viagogo 11 months before the concert. No tickets were transferred to me even when I requested to resend them. 1 day before the concert I received email from the Ticketmaster who were responsible for the concert, saying that I have not confirmed the tickets transferred to me. I could not confirm something I never received. When I contacted viagogo they told me they are not responsible for the tickets as soon as Ticketmaster is organizing the concert in this country. When I asked if they give me money back in case if I will not be able to enter the concert (site assured I have insurance and protection) the answer was negative. Thanks god in the stadium I was able to solve this problem and receive paper tickets, however, there was a high chance that I would simply not be able to visit concert or receive a refund, situation caused me a lot of stress. Moreover, the viagogo fees are extremely high. I regret I did not find a legitimate ticket seller and just bought the tickets on the first sponsored website

When questioning price hike: fees as disclosed. Not true.

I have contacted the football club hosting the home game. Apparently their hands are tied, & Viagogo is a legit but dodgy source of tickets.
I was just fortunate that a regular to the footy questioned the cost etc.
Its not unusual for patrons to arrive and be denied entry to a game because the tickets dont exist.

Absolute scam . They pay to get top of the google search and when you go to pay for tickets they add extortionate fees on top of the cost of the tickets for doing nothing.

I brought a ticket on this website for Chelsea versus Juventus in Hong Kong. I was being charged four times the face value however I’ve never received the ticket. Their emails to me says that I or someone at my address will need to sign for the tickets. They are now saying that their courier says the tickets were delivered but has no signature and I never see anyone delivering a ticket and don’t have the ticket and AS they don’t have the signature. I don’t see how they can say that I’ve had it. This company offers a guarantee for the ticket. This is only the price of the ticket not the associated costs like flights or hotels but that guarantee is not worth the paper it’s written on. I spent the last six days arguing with them about the guarantee and I feel the only way I’m gonna get my money back is via a complaint to the bank to say I never got the goods that I’ve been charged for. I would not trust this company with anything they’re guarantee is worthless and they seem to have no shame about robbing people. Please people stay well away from them. It’s bad enough than charging four times the odds of the ticket but then not to deliver it is completely shameless. you can tell what the company is like when they charge four times the face value of the ticket price which in Hong Kong is it illegal?

Worst experience ever. Charged me 150€ for nothing, when I wanted to see details of the charge they said it’s only available internally and I am not able to see that.

We accidentally used the wrong credit card to purchase our tickets. We contacted customer service immediately, but instead of helping us resolve the issue, the phone call was disconnected and the live chat was closed without providing a solution. This happened multiple times

This has been an extremely frustrating experience. If you're looking to buy tickets, I'd strongly recommend thinking twice before using this service.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience using Viagogo and will never use this company again.

I accidentally purchased 4 child tickets instead of 4 adult tickets for an AFL game because the ticket type was displayed in very small print and was easy to miss. The tickets cost me over $400.

As soon as I realised the mistake, I contacted customer service hoping for a simple resolution. I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable—I would have happily paid the price difference to upgrade to adult tickets, or accepted a refund so I could purchase the correct ones. Instead, Viagogo refused to help in any way.

Their only solution was to tell me to resell the tickets on their platform. The chances of selling four child tickets together are incredibly slim, so this is hardly a realistic solution.

To make matters even worse, when I tried to list the tickets for resale, the listing wouldn’t go live because Viagogo required proof of purchase to be uploaded. The only way to upload this proof is via a non-mobile device. I only have a mobile phone, so I was completely stuck. There was no alternative upload option and no practical assistance from customer service.

The entire experience has been frustrating, stressful and incredibly disappointing. For a company that charges significant service fees, I expected far better customer support and at least some willingness to help resolve an honest mistake. Instead, I was left out of pocket by more than $400 with no meaningful assistance.

I would strongly caution others to double-check every detail before purchasing through Viagogo, as if you make a genuine mistake, don’t expect any flexibility or customer care.
