Sometimes it’s not about companies making mistakes it’s how well they communicate and rectify them. My parcel was left outside by a third party delivery company…and Alex at Victorian Cornice was brilliant at handling the replacement with a quick turn around and great communication. The product is quality and perfect for use. Would recommend highly! Just hopefully the third party delivery folks can be addressed for missing parcels not to happen again.

Sadly following staff changes, customer service has gone downhill. I was given a quote and the company lost the measurements not once but twice, most recently earlier this year! They came out re-measured the exact same areas which included three pelmets and always had included three pelmets, a few months later (June 2024, quote given in Feb 2024) and came back with a higher quote - unwilling to uphold the original quote. I was also told by a member of the team that certain work could be carried out to only be advised later that the manager had stated that that is not possible, because whilst it is easy for them to do, they will only carry out the entire job or no job at all. When customers are given a legitimate expectation it is good practice to uphold this at the very least. Not happy with the lack of customer care.

Order it and Forget it.
Ordered 3 cast ceiling roses. They said the order would be delivered in 10 days, well 10 days was a Sunday but I did receive and email saying it would be with me Monday, (next day) , and it was.

Communication very good, on phone, by email, and automated SMS. Helpful sales team. Time from order to install was minimal.

I spent a bit of time looking for the right product and went with Victorian Cornice Company due to their range, reviews and high quality, friendly advice they provided on the phone.

Originally I had planned for my decorator to install but when he saw and felt the fibrous plaster cornicing he recommended we get a specialist.

We called Victorian Cornice Company back and explained the situation including that there was a time pressure given decorating had to be halted until the cornice was installed.

They were incredible.. they managed to move things around to get Sam and Josh round within a couple of days. They did our living and dining rooms in one day and the result is nothing short of superb.

Sam and Josh are masters of their craft and the quality of the finish is flawless. They are also just great guys, very friendly, and highly professional. They put in a massive effort trekking from Birmingham to London and back in what would have been a very long day for them.

We are so grateful and so so pleased with result. These are the guys to use if you are looking for fibrous cornicing/moulding supply and installation!!

Communication was great - quick replies when asking for a photo of one of the cornices.. I placed an order and delivery although expensive, was scheduled quickly however I am dissapointed one of the lenghts of cornice has damage to the face meaning the cornice has lost its pattern in a small area. The driver has told me that is an easy repair and given me some powder mix for the installers to fix however I now have to hope my installers are able to do this and make it match the rest of the lenghts pattern and I'm not sure how easy this will actually be and now puts the onus on my installers to fix rather than the company themselves..very dissapointing as this companies coving was double the cost of elsewhere however we went with them as I felt they were better quality overall, didnt expect to have to be doing our own repairs after spending so much money.

Coving was delivered quickly. However, every length was damaged. Within 30 minutes of ringing, another pack was dispatched for next day delivery.

Spent time choosing x2 small ceiling roses, only to find the shipping cost is £280.00.There must be a way to send them out substanially cheaper.

Very poorly packed samples arrived damaged. I contacted them on email to point this out, i sent pictures of the damage samples and of their packaging. aswell as pictures of a competitors packaging to highlight the difference in care. No reply to those emails. Then after a week they reply, no offer to send replacement samples. You would have to be an idiot to pack samples the way they did. Why onearth would it take 2 weeks to fix a packaging problem
? You'd do it immediately
