Excellent service. Stevie and his colleague fixed my kitchen window recently and did a brilliant job. They came right in time, worked solidly and fixed the problem. Highly recommended and thank you very much.

I phoned in on behalf of my elderly Mum to arrange a small repair on a draughty double glazed window. From start to finish, I was treated with the utmost care and politeness and the guys turned up at exactly the time they said. They were so kind to my Mum and, yes, it was a small job but on the back of they way they handled everything I would have no hesitation in contacting Viewforth again should we need any bigger jobs. Definitely recommend, this is what good customer service looks like!

I needed window hardware replaced and minor adjustments to windows. I accepted their quote as I assumed this would take some time. In fact their 2 guys were here for less than 90 minutes. 10 handles which you can buy for under £20 each and 2 trickle vents which are probably less than £10 each. I was charged over £1000 ie 90 minutes labour was almost £800. No problem with the fitters- pleasant and did a good job. But insist on a detailed itemised quote before giving this company your business.

I was pleased to find that Viewforth sell doors as well as windows. We were very well advised on choosing a new door for our flat. And it was fitted brilliantly The team did a great job and it looks great. They were really tidy and didn’t leave a bit of dust!

Responded promptly when needed them in a hurry. Came and did the job efficiently with no mess and really polite both on phone and in person

Absolutely delighted with the service and response from start to finish helped me out with an accidental broken loft window I would definitely recommend this company to anyone .

I was very impressed with the service provided by this company and their operative named Robert was exceptional. I found them to be very professional and they came when they were supposed to attend with Robert carrying out the work to a high standard.

Watch out!
They charge a call out fee of £87 for 6 minutes onsite but couldn’t fix my basic window mechanism as they couldn’t get the part although it was a generic mecanism made by a lot of different company’s (mine was a Yale version installed by Cruden and window was only 2 years old)

I phoned CRSMITH and they fixed it quickly and only charged me £120 including the part.

Remember even if it’s their fault and they can fix it they will still charge you the call out.

I hate paying money for nothing.

Avoid!

They have limited stock, don’t take emergencies seriously and charge a very high call out fee even if they don’t have the parts to repair.

Go with A bigger company who will be more flexible and fix the issue during the first visit.

The owner of this company, and his wife are abusive and have attacked people walking past their home. Please be wary!!

VG were very easy to deal with, gave a fair estimate & carried out the work in a professional manner.
The job was to replace sills & generally tidy up sash and case windows.
J (& apprentice) cleaned up after themselves & were polite & helpful.

Shocked by cost of what I thought was a preliminary investigation. I have happily used Viewforth for several big jobs, which was clearly not appreciated. I called them out to take a look at my Bifolds which had a gap at the door. The very pleasant man, took a brief look and adjusted a tiny screw (I have photos) which seemed to fix the problem. While I did not expect this to be free I did not expect to be charged 86.00 for a 5 minute, no tools required visit. This has put me off using again or indeed recommending.

I have used Viewforth Glazing a number of times, but I would not recommend them for sash and case window refurbishment.
Would only use them for simple jobs.
Last time I used them, when I moved to a new house, they were hired to resolve issues with rot that the Home Report identified.
After completing the refurb of the windows, our window painter kept finding rot still present. The glazers were called out twice again, and did such a poor job, we hired another glazing firm 2 months later to do the work all over again, who found tons of rot and did a great job in replacing and repairing them. At no point did a senior member of the team come out to inspect the work. Spoke to the managing director, who was very satisfied with the work done, and didn't feel I had a case to answer.
The job happened a couple of years ago, but still the same management - I would recommend asking if the firm quality checks the work with a foreman afterwards, especially if there are issues ongoing.

Having dealt with Viewforth Glazing for several years, I’m never disappointed by their great customer service, attention to detail and first class workmanship. I’d highly recommend them!
