I placed an order for a Christmas gift on the 7th of December. On the 22nd of December I contact via live chat to cancel order and they say they cannot as my order has already been packed and ready for shipping. On the 23rd of December I receive notification that I will be receiving my item on the 4th week of January. They were obviously not telling the truth. I contact customer service chat and they say they cannot cancel the order from their side. There isn't any other mean for contact. Awful customer service.

I ordered an Oura ring as a Christmas present. The delivery kept being delayed and then out of the blue the order was cancelled. No explanation and the online chat is useless unless you enjoy going around in circles. What really makes me angry is I now have to wait between 3/14 working days for my 1399 AED to be refunded!! Not acceptable. I pay instantly, you can refund instantly!!

I placed an order online and the expected delivery was 2 days; this has now been 10 days and I still do not have my item. It was nice to know that when I contacted customer service it was a human at the other end and not a robot. However, when they had no authoritative or capabilty to act on my late order. They couldn't even offer an estimated day of arrival! Nothing proactive was done, nothing was offered, it was a simple 'I can't help you' over and over over and over again... It was probably easy to speak to a Robot.Shame.

I’ve been ordering online for several years and only one time I was refounded as the items were not in stock even if they were flagged as they were.

I made two (2) online orders trough the virgin megastore website and in both of them I had this issue.
- first time three out of the five items purchased weren’t delivered because of “unavailability”
- second time got other two items and one was also unavailable.
I do not understand why yall don’t flag the items as unavailable when they are. It’s frustrating to order stuff and half of it isn’t delivered. Definetely not buying from them till they fix their services.

Terrible company in every aspect. Stay away, they will not honour their commitments. They will take your money, and when the delivery schedule comes, they will cancel your order. That's all you will get.

Last weekend, I was trying to buy iPhone 17 Pro Max for my family as a gift. The sales person said initially it’s out of stock since they are pre-ordered, but one customer has been cancelled so they can give me that one. But the thing is, I cannot buy it with the actual price since it’s bundled with insurance for 2 years, also offered me the phone case. Told them I ONLY need the phones. I will pay with cash. They said all iPhone 17 phones come with insurance. I’m not convinced, I called customer service they said it’s NOT MANDATORY to buy the insurance and accessories. They have the same lines as per the other stores. I just bought the phones from Apple Store instead.

Very very very bad customer service .
Do you always deal with the customer in this way if he has a problem and the problem is from you and you say the problem will be solved within 24 or 48 hours and we contact you, and despite that we contacted you more than once and it is as if nothing happened and no one contacted and the important thing is that the product was sold and the customer means nothing to you after you took your money and the name of this thing is a mockery of the customer, and I will advise all relatives and friends not to deal with you

Very bad experience with Virgin Megastore. I ordered a screen online for AED 5000 and was supposed to receive it two days ago, but nothing has happened so far. When I contacted them, they just apologized and said they don’t know when I will receive it. Totally unprofessional service — I do not recommend ordering from them.

If was possible I will give 0 stars to this store ,worst customer service they do not care about customer satisfaction at all.
Purchased an online order for over 1000 $ and they refused to exchange the colour of the product,the product was only opened for the viewing ,also taking in consideration that the item looked different from the imagine they totally refused to make an exception to exchange the item which supposed to be a gift.
Definitely lost me as a customer,never again!!!!

I made an order online at 7:38 am, at 7:50 am I realized I placed an order for iPhone pro however I wanted an iPhone pro max, customer service have one sentence (iPhone online orders can't be cancelled or exchange) seriously first time to face such an issue, I place a compliance with the consumer rights and I will not leave my rights

Worst customer experience ever. Bought a webcam from the store and realized it's not the right one. Reached out for a refund. Mohamad (manager) from the customer service department responded "you'll have to come into the store to get a refund".

What? Are you joking? This is crazy. You're a billion dollar company and asking your customers to come in the store to return and get a refund? Every other company gives the refund on the spot and collects the item later. Extremely unimpressed. Don't buy from this company. Even if it's more expensive somewhere else, buy from somewhere else. Customer experience matters. Customers deserve better.

I was shocked when I opened the iPad I collected yesterday from the Landmark branch. The arrangement was handled earlier by a staff member at the DFC branch, where I specifically insisted on receiving the iPad Pro. I even waited more than 45 minutes for this arrangement to be finalized.

Following her instructions, and after payment in DFC branch I sent my driver to the Landmark branch to pick up the device, only to discover that I was given an iPad Air instead of the iPad Pro. I tried calling several times, but unfortunately, no one answered.

This is very disappointing, especially after the long wait and effort. I expect this to be corrected and the iPad exchanged for the iPad Pro as originally agreed.

Stay away! They offer lowest prices BUT you will most probably never get the service. My sim did not activate for 3 days. Then I went to their branch. After 3 hours they could not activate it either. They even tried a physical sim. I applied for a refund. It has been almost a month and I am still waiting for my 1.5K refunded. They even closed my complaint in TDRA stating that refund is in progress 2 weeks ago but no change. If you value your money and time, stay away from this company.

I had the worst shopping experience with this store, and I feel it’s important to share so others don’t go through the same.

I placed an order on Friday for a birthday gift for my daughter. According to their website, delivery should be same day or within two business days — which was acceptable for me. Since this was not just a random purchase but a very important birthday gift, I wanted to confirm availability. Getting a clear response from this store was nearly impossible. My friend tried to contact them on WhatsApp on Friday with my order details but only received generic, copy-paste replies.

On Saturday, I reached out myself and explained clearly that this was a birthday gift and I needed to be sure the item was in stock. Their reply was that my order “has already went through” and that delivery would happen within 1–2 business days. The order was already fully paid for at checkout (they don’t even offer cash on delivery), so I trusted their confirmation and waited.

Then on Tuesday, after the birthday had already passed, I received an email saying my order was canceled. Later they told me on WhatsApp that my refund would take 3–14 days. So not only was the gift ruined, but my money was also frozen for up to two weeks.

This entire situation shows complete disrespect for customers. They could not even bother to check stock properly in advance, even though I was asking them directly for confirmation. Instead of being honest and giving me a chance to order elsewhere in time, they misled me for days, let me wait, and only canceled after the celebration was over.

This was not just bad service — it was the worst possible way to treat a customer.

Utter and complete waste of time and money they show a product that's not even stock and when I order it they just say sorry two days after and then put it back on the website as if it's not already out of stock and then the customer care / service is horrible you can not get through their thick skull they just apologize while doing absolutely nothing not even having any coupon codes for their already known overpriced products

Okay, so I spoke to a person called Nour, that is N-O-U-R. And she was a representative or a customer care agent of Virgin MegaStore. Absolutely did not help me with a single thing. I constantly and time and time again asked her to escalate the issue to the manager. She kept on saying that it's not possible. The person that I spoke to two days ago told me to reach out the next day so I could speak to the manager directly. So, at this point, I don't know who is lying, right?

Virgin MegaStore promised me they would deliver the item on August 10th. I bought it because I believed that I would get it on August 10th. It was meant to be a birthday gift for someone whose birthday was on that very day. Not only did the item not arrive until almost the 12th, but the person had to travel on the 10th and has now left — they won’t be back for quite a while. So the whole point of the purchase was lost.

Nour did not help me. The last person did not help me. And Virgin MegaStore refuses to give me any compensation of any kind. So, I suggest, humbly, if you decide to buy something — especially electronics or anything where timing matters — just don’t bother. For me, personally, in this specific incident, I really did care about the time frame. And not only did it not happen, which is one thing, but they were absolutely not willing to help me in any way at all. I hope nobody has to go through this, and nobody has to ever go through the trouble of talking to a customer care person like the ones I did.

I have been a frequent online shopper at Virgin Megastore, spending a considerable amount over time, yet I have never received any token of appreciation such as a loyalty discount or special offer. It’s disappointing to see no recognition for regular customers.
In addition, their online support services are unreliable and far from supportive. Response times are slow, and when assistance is provided, it often lacks the willingness or effort to resolve issues effectively.
Overall, for a brand of this size and reputation, I expected far better customer care and appreciation for loyalty. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory.

Their online store is a waste of time, you order to get a cancellation email after 2 days... team in store are kind, but they dont have an automatic system to update the stocks, you go to the place for something, its written available online and no, they don't have anymore.. customer service say politely we are sorry, other than that, waste of time.
