It's unbelievable that right now, in this most important US election in decades, the great Washington Post is driving its reputation to the ground like this.
What about the days of courageous journalism à la Watergate? Is cowardice all that's left?
Really embarrassing. And sad.

Cowardly with how they handled their non-endorsement. Just fine letting billionaires tell them what to do.

The Post decided to withdraw a planned endorsement of Kamela Harris by order of its owner, Jeff BEZOS, also OWNER OF AMAZON. I am cancelling my subscription in view of this fascist directive by the GOP presidential candidate.

I have been a subscriber for nearly 40 years, and just cancelled my subscription— not because you didn’t pick my candidate, but because with all of your knowledge you sat this one out. I subscribed Washington Post weekend editions for over 10 years because of the weekend Samurai Sudoku and coupons. I don't really care about this newspaper, they are one-sided and a left propaganda newspaper. Over the years, the quality of Washington Post has degraded so I decided to cancel my subscription when the current subscription runs out on November 3, 2024. I called Washington Post a week ago notifying them of my intention to cancel the weekend subscription when it expires. The customer representative (CR) tried to persuade me to stay on but I told him of my firm decision. Since I have a vacation credit of $16 with Washington Post, I asked that the vacation credit be refunded to the credit card that I made payment with. I was told by the CR that the vacation credit will be refunded to my credit card in 3-5 business days, however, this did not happen. I called again today to inquire about the credit refund, this time the CR that I spoke with told me that because I did not set up automatic credit card payment, the credit refund will be initiated as a check on Sunday, November 10, 2024 after the last Sunday newspaper delivery on November 3, 2024. I was told that It will take 30 days for me to receive the check by mail. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE of their business practice. First, the first CR gave out wrong information regarding my credit refund and now they delay in issuing my credit refund because even though I paid my subscription with my credit card, I did not set up renewal by auto-payment with credit card. This is so absurd. I am done with Washington Post and will never do business with this fake newspaper.

Keep pushing posts onto my feed and trying to charge.

If I didn't have to pay $40 a year to be able to leave a comment I would be leaving it there. It is mind blowing to me that people still trust sources such as this. Blatantly painting their opinions on every story published. It's not news, it's garbage. This and organizations like it are the problem and what is creating a divide across our nation. They should be ashamed of themselves but ofcourse their not. Even when they lose billions of dollars they just double down and do the same garbage. It's sad this is what is called news now. Trump got shot so it is his fault, not the lunatic democratic policies. Trump saying that is a baseless claim. It's laughable and just the latest of a long string of propaganda they and many like them (all) choose to do nowadays. Does anyone in mainstream news have any integrity anymore?
