I put in prescription last week on Monday sent to chemist on Wednesday and not even ready. I have a heart condition and diabetes type 2 and not had my meds for 4 days. pathetic store to have my meds sent to. I dont even want to rate this service.

Terrible pharmacy
Terrible pharmacy. They never pick up the phone. Wnen i have to use it because its the only one in my area people there for their scrips are often told 'no we dont have it in', no it's not ready yet 'even though theyve been told to collect it. One assistant came straight to Wells from Gregs and knows zero about anything and has a stick up her rear end. The pharmacist is forever on a break. This is Laindon ss15. some assistants should be taught manners before serving customers .Customer appeal-zero , laziness 10 out of 10 . Phone manners zero as im sure they dont know what the ringing sound means or are just to lazy to answer it ,, cant leave their 5th cup of tea of the day to be interupted by customers of all people can they !!!

Extremely disappointing service at Well…
Extremely disappointing service at Well Pharmacy Laindon. My prescription was approved on Monday but when I attended Thursday it wasn’t ready. I returned Friday morning and was told again it wouldn’t be ready until 5pm.
Staff admitted the prescriptions had arrived on Wednesday but the crates behind the desk had not even been unpacked yet. I had already run out of my medication and explained I couldn’t return at 5pm as they are closed over the weekend. I asked if they could retrieve mine from the crate but was told no.
When I asked for the prescription to be printed so I could go elsewhere, the staff member threw her scanner on the desk and complained while searching the crates. Another colleague came out and rudely asked me “can it not wait”.
I also attempted to call the pharmacy 13 times before attending in person and the phone was never answered.
For a pharmacy dealing with people’s medication, the attitude, lack of organisation and poor communication were completely unacceptable.

Disgusting behaviour from Pharmacist
I am only leaving 1 star because I have to give a rating to leave a review. Awful service, arrogant Pharmacist. She wouldn't even come out to see me from behind her desk. If she was too busy then I would have preferred an appointment. Instead I was asked personal medical questions in front of a shop full of people. So humiliating. They have a massive sign saying they offer medical advise without an appointment, false advertising. No advice offered. If I wanted to tell my business to a shop full of people and get advise from the cashier, I wouldn't have asked to speak with a Pharmacist. No privacy, no dignity, no respect for a patient. Really dreadful. It is a pointless service as they are rude and cutting. We actually stopped using them for prescriptions because they were so nasty and went to Lloyds Online now a pharmacy4u instead. I will absolutely never be going in there ever again, I'd rather wait at a&e.

Does well employ anyone capable of a reply
I’m going to keep giving well pharmacy one star until I receive a response from a human bein g!instead of this generic bs reply they send to anyone who doesn’t give them 5 stars. I think it’s a disgrace a company like this, that should have a caring nature for its customers is so arrogant as to not even answer their critics let alone the phone in person(my previous complaint) !!

**Update**
I would urge anyone having issues with Well to contact the General Pharmaceutical Council use their web site to enter a 'concern' They will take 3 months to deal with it but with enough customers complaining it might make a difference. Well appear to be not fit for purpose and with 760 branches they should be doing a better job. Just look at the 1 star reviews here to see years of poor service and the General Pharmaceutical Council told me they have allowed Well time to address their operational issues! I thought it was only Laindon but it appears to be country wide.
Well Laindon Essex. If this was a normal business that was not totally funded by the prescription service it would be out of business a long time ago.
Never answer the phone or pick it up and then put it down. Not really fit for purpose to serve the public in a very important role that they clearly do not take seriously.
I will have my prescriptions sent elsewhere as the last 2 times have been a nightmare. I will be contacting the General Pharmaceutical Council to let them know as Well needs to be replaced for the sake of the community!

If I could give minus 5 stars I would. Absolutely appalling service (actually you can’t even call it service) as I had to go back on 3 occasions and waited over 30 minutes each time for them to dispense the same prescription. I required antibiotics and was turned away because they couldn’t be bothered to sieve through the boxes of medication to find mine. The woman at the counter said wait for a text message (which not only did I have a text I also had a email saying that it was ready) and that she has customers to serve, so what was I? wasn’t I a customer? Will never use this place again and suggest people reading this do the same!!

Unfortunately I could only give the Phamacy a 3 star rating as the amount of people queuing for prescriptions out side and down the ramp is ridiculous most of them could have caught covid or possibly passed away while waiting in the queue.

Totally unacceptable …
You really need to be able to leave zero stars because all of the people leaving one star are contributing to this joke of a Pharmacy having stars that they definitely don't deserve. This is now the only Pharmacy within walking distance as they greedily took on all the customers from lloyds that closed down and they did so without taking on extra staff. i don't know how they've managed to retain the staff they do have, because they're having to serve twice the amount of customers and obviously they can't cope. Although they have recently taken on one new staff member (a security guard) due to a member of staff having been assaulted, which I'm not condoning, but I'm certainly not suprised. We now have to queue for an average of 40 minutes outside in all weathers and today it was nearly 2 hours.
