Restored my faith in Dentists after 27 years of extreme fear in attending dental appointments! Dr Sam Gowan - what an absolutely professional & engaging dentist. He explains as he proceeds with his treatment; I cannot fully explain just how my fear has slowly dissipated, thanks to his patience & persistence in being a kind, calm, caring, informative, understanding & humble dentist. A huge thank you goes to him!
Staff are helpful & efficient at the Reception desk.
Hygienist Ms Trow is also very helpful & professional.

Excellent treatment

They are all very friendly and make you feel relaxed and explain everything to you so you know what to expect. It is very relaxing waiting in the waiting and you don’t have to wait long to get seen.

All the staff are excellent, both technically and in terms of patient care. Treatment is fully discussed, explained clearly and all questions are answered fully.

I’ve had my first assessment and am very impressed with the quality of service. The clinic is modern and has all the latest technology. The staff are professional and highly knowledgeable. Dr Matharu was so warm and welcoming. We moved to North Wales 2 years ago and have struggled to find a private dental practice that has everything we wanted (dental plan, resident hygienist, etc). We’re very happy to have found West End Dental in Colwyn Bay.

Hygienist appointment with Keeley Trow. Very gentle and thorough, unhurried.

The only small problem was getting a reply on the phone, no one answered. I used the text method which took a lot longer than a chat on the phone would do if someone would have picked up.

From initial checkup and first treatment, everyone is so friendly and professional. My first treatment some restructuring, fillings went great, 3 more visits to go I will comment again on completion 👌

From reception..a friendly greeting and time spent is so welcome..I was anxious but the 2 young ladies..nurse and hygienist put me at my ease..I would recommend West End dental practice..indeed I already have..

Being a very nervous dental patient, both the dentist and hygienist took great care to make me feel comfortable and explained everything. Nothing was too much trouble.

Wild horses couldn't drag me to a dentist but I bit the bullet and following reading reviews I attended the practice for a consultation with Dr Mark and Dr Sandra. From the moment I shaked with nerves walking through the door I was treated with compassion and respect. My treatment plan was presented clearly with various options and it commenced with a long overdue extraction. It was painless. Follow up calls to check up on me were a welcome after care support I wasn't expecting but demonstrated the excellent support the team provide. Subsequent check up post treatment with the AMAZING Dr Sandra again was painless and I am so incredibly grateful not only for your professional dentistry skills but for your continuity in pastoral care for this very nervous patient. I look forward to future visits to complete my treatment plan in your very capable hands.

Excellent service from the initial appointment arrangements by Sarah from the Prestatyn surgery who was fantastic to the extraction by Dr Kosys and his assistant who were thoroughly professional throughout
