I discovered the van lacked an MOT…
I discovered the van lacked an MOT before taking it for a drive, which was fortunate. It was returned for the MOT and two bodywork fixes, but only came back with one repair complete and the MOT. When I requested the service records from February 2020, it turned out they didn't exist. The mileage recorded in the service book was off by 9,000 miles, dated and stamped February 2020. When we inquired with Martin about the documents, we learned the van hadn’t been serviced, though this wasn't Martin's error. It's surprising, considering after-sales support should manage post-purchase issues. The documentation provided was fake, and the customer service was dreadful. I hope the motor ombudsman can intervene before others fall victim to their practices.

We have purchased a number of minibuses from Wheels Van Centres and have always found the vehicles to be well priced and good quality, with plenty to choose from. Jason and the Team are always super helpful and make sure the minibuses are ready to inspect and test drive when we make the journey down. Well worth the trip from Staffordshire!

Overall pretty disappointed with this company. I found the salesman, Tom fairly disinterested in selling me the vehicle. Firstly, when I asked to test drive the vehicle he didn't want to accompany me. Once he had failed to find someone to take the test drive with me he reluctantly came with me. When we were negotiating and discussing the vehicle he started texting his son, taking a photo on his phone of his personal documents from his wallet. I stopped talking and waited for him to finish, I'm not sure he noticed I had stopped talking. I bought the vehicle and drove home. After 4 weeks waiting for my V5 to arrive I contacted the DVLA who informed me that there was no paperwork in the system and nothing had come from Wheels Van Centre to inform them of the change of ownership. I have now sorted the V5 myself. Not a very professional service.

Don't trust their MOT results
Don't trust their MOT results, the MOT done at purchase showed no problems, but after 3000 miles the brakes were constantly making noise, inspection revealed less than 1mm of brake pad left, this is a serious safety concern, not sure if there are any other problems being hidden!
Trustworthy business, nice vehicle
The van I bought was competitively priced and Dave couldn't have been more helpful with accommodating my payment requirements and collection date.
The van was well presented and as described / seen.
False information
I purchased a van in August, after driving and clocking up 500 miles, I noticed that when the vehicle was warming up I couldn't select gears. I took it back and after they looked at the van they told me the clutch wasn't covered under the 3 month warranty. I got the repair done and sent them the invoice and their response was the parts are not covered under warranty. Also the van had an oil leak which they said they had sorted but that's not true either. Blah Blah Blah.

The van matched its advertisement – impeccable condition, new brakes, and two keys. Plus, it was delivered quickly over a long distance on short notice. Highly recommended!

Dave was incredibly patient, rapid response with providing required documents and very wonderful throughout each stage of the purchase transaction process, including VAT, Tax and Insurance.
Van sold as seen and as described, blatantly new brakes, two keys, delivered long distance at short notice.
Shocking ongoing experience
We brought a Renault Master Van from this company and the drivers window, wasn't opening. They said they have order the part and will call us once the part arrives. After almost 10 days of waiting for a call, we call they back and they said they will call us next day. Finally when we got a call they said come and get the part replaced, so we took the vehicle back, they took the panel off the door and said the vehicle need another part in order to get the window working and the panel on the doer can not be put back together and we should take the van, once the part arrives they will call us and put the door panel back together. We said it not safe to drive around with the door panel off like that or the safe to leave a vehicle without a window closing and they said you brought the van like this and we will fix it when we can. They would not take responsibility for selling us a faulty van or having it fix in the time scale they said they would. We have lost so much money by take the van back and forth and even said we wanted to cancel the policy and they said we can't cancel it. This company is a joke and I would urge everyone to stay away from them as they like to rip off people!!!
