I want to put no stars as am so angry/upset/frustrated. I knew Whiskas had changed the packaging but when I noticed neither of my cats would eat it now, None of the flavours, I contacted Whiskas who confirmed a recipe change also. They don’t even like the smell, nor do I! It never smelt before the change but is now quite strong. Whilst our male has happily troughing Purina Gourmet, our female doesnt like anything and is constantly around me begging for some nice food and is only eating biscuits can’t find a soft food that she likes and in all honesty it’s quite stressful as a result of the change. She looks at me as if to say “why have you changed the food dad? Why won’t you feed me something nice?” 😢

Actually want to put no stars! I don’t know what Whiskas has done but neither of my cats will eat it now! None of the flavours! They don’t like the smell! So not only is it more expensive and smaller sachets- the quality has gone down the pan too!!! Even the new duo recipe-my cats took one sniff and they were off - luckily they still eat the dry stuff! Hopefully they won’t change that recipe🤞🏻🤞🏽

We fed our cats with whiskas for the last 6 years. 2 pouches a day each.
Cats started needing more food. I hadn't noticed the pack size dropping from 100g to 85g and also the pack price increasing.
I don't know which bright spark at Whiskas thought this would be a good idea and also to try and fool the public. Shame on all of you at whiskas. We now use Felix. It's 100g pouches and fantastic quality.

7+ whiskas in jelly new recipe. My senior cats have loved the old product recipe for years, since the rebrand (and reduced pouch size btw) non of them will touch the new stuff. Senior cats need dietary stability, as anyone who knows anything about cats will tell you. Tinkering with the ingredients purely to save money. Fortunately we have now found better alternatives. You must be losing customers by the millions....

All of the above/below. Whoever signed off on the new recipe needs to be sacked and the original replaced ASAP. Otherwise, whiskas cat food will soon be a thing of the past as no one will buy it !!!

New recipe has made my cats ill particularly the older one, sickness, bloody liquid stools, lethargy. His neutrophil levels plummeted and the glands in his tummy enlarged greatly. Never buying Whiskas again, cost me a small fortune in vets bills and more importantly my cat nearly died. Gone through hell the last week or so! PROFITS BEFORE PET HEALTH YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES.

Corporate greed & Lies, kept prices the same, bovine waste price up size down cats aren't reducing intake so whiskas will just have sell us more and still make out they care

Rang customer services today about the chicken kibbles my cats eat regularly, they are refusing to eat which is very unusual the biscuits don’t look right they are all the same colour and smell odd,
I was told the recipe had been changed slightly, I think the product has deteriorated there was no offer of a replacement, very disappointing

Can't believe they changed the weight from 100g to 85g and increased the price of the food on top of that!!!how cheeky!!! I would've prefered if they only increased the price and left the same quantity.
My 2 cats got used to eating 100g so now I have to give them 1 pouch and a quarter each and leave the rest in the fridge, also I don't know what they did with the formula but they don t like some typed anymore.

3cats refuse to eat the new formula and the 4th was violently sick Please tell me how to return my stock as I need my money back

WHY, WHY, WHY, won’t you reconsider & bring back the old recipe? even if we have to reluctantly accept the 85gm packets instead of the previous 100gm.
Surely enough people on here and Facebook have told you that the new recipe is making their cats ill or their cats won’t touch it!!

There must be thousands of cat owners now refusing to buy the new Whiskas, me being one of them, & my two cats would get through four packets a day between them before the changed recipe, you must now realise just what a ridiculous business model this is. What you’re saving on smaller packets & inferior ‘meats’ must be loosing you more in customers revenue. How very short sighted of your management team who thought up this ridiculous idea. You must know your market, you obviously don’t!! cats are very fussy, discerning animals, unlike dogs who’ll eat anything, if you’ve got any sense you will bring back the old recipe and your customers will return in droves.
I have a cupboard full of half opened boxes from every shop & make known to man, all getting thrown away once opened and rejected. What a complete waste of money when you live alone on a state pension and cats are your only company. Wake up MARS Ltd.😡

I can not warn people enough who are buying this new recipe whiskas in jelly .. I have had the exact same problem when Purina changed the ingredients in Felix as good as it looks . To this day since the change over I have lost 3 cats another is now diabetic 4 others have really bad smelly poops and most now have illnesses of various things including blood in their poop and asthma .. after doing extensive research I found out that within a year of Felix change over .. over 32000 cat owners hit Facebook most had lost a cat or their cat was dying or sick since the change... Apparently Purina had an investigation done on the ingredients but they got away with it because the investigation was " internal" they did their own investigation how convenient!!!

My cats absolutely hate the new whiskas it's bad enough that they have changed them to 85 gram bags and most wouldn't touch the new style Felix ( this speaks volumes if they all of a sudden can't stand the stuff ) but I am now transitioning my cats onto the cheaper food even tho at this point I don't trust any brand ... People may think I'm paranoid but fact is fact .. because while they have already killed over 80 million people and injured over 1.1 billion with the COVID jab, the world economic forum made a small statement that many did not see .. he stated that " we can't have pets running a mock if their owners are dead" this blew my mind ... PURINA and WHISKAS can no longer be trusted .. I know that thousands of owners including dog owners are losing their beloved family member because these companies have been paid millions into their pockets to wipe out our pets

I am quite sure that whoever reads my review will realise they are having the exact same problem with their pets . Illness that comes on out of the blue in a once very very healthy pet .. lethargy, weepy eyes, smelly poop, diarrhea, blood in poop, coughing asthma, allergies including allergy to fleas seem as the flea treatments are useless now too . I could go on and on but they killed my cats and have caused me to have a 700 pound vets bill .. furious doesn't cover how I feel

My cat won’t eat the new whiskas pouches. Sniffs and walks away. What have they done to it? 46 pouches being donated to local foodbank. Why change the recipe? Nuts if you ask me!

15G Less In The Pouch!, Changed Recipe, Whiskas Have The Audacity To Say It's For Our Benefit, My Cat Has A Mix Of Wet And Dry Food Therefore Has 1 Pouch Daily Split Over 2 Portons, So Definatley Doesn't Benefit Me - After Purchasing Whiskas For Over 10 Years - I Will Now Be Looking At Other Brands Not Affiliated With Mars.

Our cat like other reviews on here will not eat the new whiskas recipe. We had no idea Whiskas were changing the recipe and as a result we cannot find any wet food she will eat! We bought a whole box of 40 pouches and had to give them away. We are now on our third brand of food and still no joy. Poor Nala is relying on biscuits.

My cat won't eat whiskas 1+ wet packet food now. I bought her all the different flavours thinking she was being fussy all of a sudden or bored of her usual favourite flavours but she won't touch any of it ☹️

My cat loved Whiskas Senior poultry in jelly pouches!
He won't go near the new recipe food. Please change it back, you are making a lot of cats unhappy and ill with this new product

Another disgruntled customer. My cat refuses to eat this new recipe, like others I couldn't understand why she was suddenly refusing to eat it after years of whiskas being her favourite. Did some research and found the formula had been changed. Will have to move to another brand and have a nearly full box of 80 pouches wasting me nearly £25.

one of my cats will only eat the lamb flavoured dry cat food an now youve changed it my cat wont eat it and is literally starving, I bought 10 packs from zooplus thinking the box was different than the bag but has come today and she wont eat it PLEASE PUT THE RECIPE BACK TO WHAT IS WAS BEFORE MY CAT WONT EAT.
