Paul was unbelievably patient and helpful. From his house visit to the showroom he was full of practical and aesthetic advice and despite our significant procrastination was never pushy even when our decision spanned several weeks. I really can’t fault the service.

While the whole process hasn’t been completely plain sailing, with the wrong shower door being sent and as a result not being able to have the bathroom finished in the allotted time, the customer service to sort all this out was well handled. Separately, Simon and the Red Dragon Home Improvements team who installed whole bathroom from start to finish have been really great. Communication was excellent, and the fitting of the bathroom superb quality. We had walls tiled and replastered to a very high standard and were always told when the installers were turning up. They were extremely clean and organised and we have not been left with any issues (as far as we can tell to date). Highly recommend Red Dragon Home Improvements as the Wickes contracted installer. 5 stars for installation, but knocked to 4 because Wickes failed to order the correct shower door and did take a few weeks to sort it out.

Paul sorted out a cracking design for our kitchen and offered a tonne of options and advice - was a pleasure to deal with and I highly recommend.

Dan from Andover Wickes was such a joy to meet when I was unsure about my order. He was extremely professional & extremely knowledgeable about my order making sure that I was looked after and making me feel special that meant so very much to me. I’m a widow & my late husband used to purchase everything we needed for DIY & I felt overwhelmed with everything but Dan reassured me & the customer service blew me away! I'm delighted with design consultant Paul Hill's design for my new kitchen and can't wait to see it fitted. My questions and concerns were answered patiently and knowledgeably. The kitchen I have purchased is in budget and ticks all the boxes for both practicality and style. Thank you, Wickes. 🙂

I spoke with Luke and he took me through different styles and colours. He set up dates with me for an almost immediate home measure, so I didn't have to wait long for a Design.

I then came in to pay for it and Paul helped me choose the final details in creating a refreshing and charming kitchen design.

The layout at Wickes was easy to find styles and inspiration; I loved all their kitchen layouts and styles.

It was also easy to visualise my kitchen due to their merchandising in store, from computers to physical examples you could mix and match to find the right colours and design. I chose flooring, cupboard doors, handles and a worktop, all at once and still have the option to change everything albiet paying due to Wickes' customer friendly policies.

Had a query regarding a recent order, Sharon Duty Manager resolved it promptly. Sharon is a credit to Wickes, with a smile too!

I initially went into Wickes to purchase an ‘off the shelf’ kitchen. Whilst asking a few questions I caught Pauls attention and he immediately persuaded me to book a home visit for a quick measure up. Unfortunately at time the property was a mere shell yet Paul worked his magic and completed a beautiful design with a top of the range kitchen. A few weeks later he was back to complete the bathroom design too. Beautiful products and an incredibly competitive price. The aftercare from Wickes Andover and Paul has been nothing short of incredible.

I recently purchased a kitchen for my home from wickes Andover.
Initially I met with Luke one of the kitchen designers.
He was super helpful , designing a kitchen to make the best use of the space that I had.
The whole process was very smooth and I felt well taken care of.
I had made a couple of mistakes and changed direction a little and when I informed Luke he was on it straight away and helped to rectify the situation.
The kitchen arrived in a timely fashion .
I am very happy with the service I received and have no problem recommending both Luke and Wickes!

I have now used Wickes Andover, twice now - once for a new designed bathroom, which included a new walk in shower and units, which were fitted by the designated installers who did an outstanding job and overall finish. I have also recently had a new designed kitchen and flooring throughout the entire ground floor, along with a downstairs toilet and units. Both of these jobs were designed by Paul, who did a great job in the actual design, and the oversight of the work. I would also like to commend the services of Dan Hunt and his team, who conducted the work on the kitchen and ground floor. The work was outstanding in quality and fit - I am now in receipt of a new immaculate kitchen and ground floor which looks amazing. Dan is in high demand for this work and I did have to wait to secure his services, but it was well worth the wait. I would therefore highly recommend Dan to undertake any work that you may require in the future. A big thank you to Paul and Dan, for making a potentially stressful event very easy - much appreciated.

I bought Wickes Milton Gray kitchen through Andover branch. The units are very sturdy and the doors with the woodgrain are beautiful. There were a few issues with damaged pieces, but they were replaced promptly by central customer services. They really need to change their phone music, as having to listen to the Sugar Plum Fairy for ages in the phone queue is torture! Please change it !!!
I wasnt too impressed with the fridge freezer that Wickes offer as their integrated appliance. The bottom drawer cannot be accessed fully without taking it out. The milk shelf in fridge is high and cuts into the bottom shelf space. However, the under counter freezer is great as is the dishwasher and gas hob.
My fitters, Daniel and Jordan were amaizing; perfectionists in their work, talented (apart from Dan's singing), patient, polite and respectful they couldn't do enough to make my kitchen my dream kitchen. I wanted to make a small change to the tower unit to house my microwave and this involved a different door, and a bit of giggling around, but was no problem for them. I also had to have the boiler moved, Dan arranged the gas fitter to coinside with the electrics plumbing and cupboard works and he made a bespoke cabinet to hide the boiler as it was bigger than could be housed in a standard cupboard. All through the process they asked my opinion, and were adement that I should be happy with the finished kitchen. It is stunning and I am very happy. Can't praise these fitters enough. Thanks boys !!!

As it always happens in every customers journey,they are areas we are happy and areas that needs improvement.
But hopefully that companies can take these positive and negative feedbacks and implement them in their workplace to better the services they provide.
The beginning of our journey from planning to ordering materials it went completely wrong,we had to do a another second quote, some materials were ordered damaged on arrival, communication was poor with CS department and honestly it was getting a bit too much. As it was our first kitchen project in our house,we tried to be positive in looking forward to the end result.

Honestly Dan who is a kitchen fitter locally in Andover and his lovely
team were very helpful,kind and hardworking I must say.
They turned the whole negative situation into a positive memorable experience. The work they did on our new kitchen was impressive.
The 4 stars is not for the company directly it's for the Dan and the team who worked so hard,very calm and collective, attention to details and would give their honest opinions.
These are the lil kind gestures that makes a difference in the working environment.its not all the time we get to hire genuine,kind people who perform their work because it's a task, but because they love,and enjoy what they do and they do it with honesty.
I would hirely recommend Dan and his team if you ever want him to do your kitchen.
For Wickes company I would suggest you look into improve your customer service line, especially in trying to speak to someone over the phone takes a lot of time to get through,for example 45 min to an hour, everyday is a joke.

I purchased a 10 pack of gutter clips only to get home and find a small hole in one corner so I opened the bag to find there were only 8 pieces some little fagan had taken 2 out and as I live 7 miles away and have to walk a mile on a road with no footpath to catch a bus I'm not a happy chappie

The member of staff who served me needs some training in basic manners and customer service skills. She spoke 3 words to me in the entire interaction, "got trade?" and "£5". That was it - no please or thank you.

Wickes aren't the cheapest by any means so that together with the staff attitude means I won't be going back!

★☆☆☆☆ Extremely Disappointed – Misleading Information and Poor Customer Service

I recently had a very frustrating experience with Wickes. I purchased an item under the impression that a return and refund would be possible, only to be told after I raised concerns that a disclaimer (which I did not see at the time of purchase) supposedly prevents this. Strangely, this disclaimer only appeared after I called to complain.

When I first contacted customer service, I was told my issue would be resolved and that I’d receive an email with a collection date for the item, followed by a refund after inspection. Instead, I’ve been met with delays, backtracking, and inconsistent information. I even suggested they review the phone call, which should be recorded, but that has gone ignored so far.

This feels highly unprofessional and misleading. I expected far better from a major retailer. If this isn’t resolved soon, I’ll be forced to escalate the matter to the relevant authorities.

Avoid if you value transparency and decent customer service.

Very organised and helpful team, both from Wickes and the fitters from Red Dragon. Simon from Red Dragon was always available for help and the fitters were thoughtful and hard working. They did a great job and offered helpful suggestions.

I had 10 days work done in bathroom and kitchen. I booked a break away to escape and the timing was perfect for return. I walked in to a new home. All so well done. My neighbours tell me it was quiet. All rubbish is collected.
I feel so safe too. I certainly recommend Red Dragon builders. And thank you to Wickes.

Just had my utility room designed by Luke, he has worked really hard to help me design my perfect room. Really professional and so patient despite me being indecisive and making lots of changes! Highly recommend!!!!
