The person name in badge Kamil he show his excellent customer service knowledge.i came with out any knowledge about paining products even he do something and he is doubt about product he ask from four other guys to help and spent 15 minutes with me around the store.wicks proud to have this kind of guys for their workers

Stopped off at the Ashford Wickes and couldn't find what I needed. Jake on the tills helped me out, showed me where the item was, and was very friendly. Definitely recommend this branch of Wickes.

I am nearly 80 but still need products to maintain my home. They are often heavy and/or cumbersome. I only have to ask for help and the staff comply with smiles and pleasantries. They take my purchases and put them in my car. I am very grateful for the help and return again knowing the assistance will be forth coming.

Lovely young lady called Grace helped me with a Doorbell-- polite and helpgul and really pleased with my purchase.

I wanted to thank Designer Paul at Wickes Ashford , and the whole team there.
He has designed and managed the supply of a wonderful new bathroom for us. His design was far superior to those of competitors, and he was friendly, patient and attentive when working with us through options and decisions. Nothing was too much trouble.
The quality of products is excellent, and the deliveries were made by very helpful drivers, on the dates agreed, and without shortages or damage.
So pleased we chose Wickes and I would thoroughly recommend.

Great service from Mykhailo, have recommended him to customers & colleagues. From design to delivery there was zero issues, great communication from Mykhailo through the whole process which made it far easier and less stressul.

Matt from Ashford, Kent. He’s been great to us with his support for our school PTA. We’re in the process of making lots of OPAL improvements and we’ve needed donations of bark and pea shingle. We’ve managed to get the required amount and the whole process has been so easily. Completing the form is simple and quick and his contact is responsive. Arranging a date for delivery or collection is easy although we prefer to collect as we can use the school minibus rather than disrupt the school grounds with a large lorry. All in all, thanks Matt. You’ve been fantastic to us!

We finally had a date set for bathroom installation work to start (with the third installer Wickes arranged after months of delays). Work was due to start in early August having started the design process in early February, I contacted the installer to confirm the work was going ahead in the date we agreed and he said ‘no I cancelled’. I contacted Wickes’ helpline who confirmed the cancellation 9 days before, but neither the installer/ Wickes bothered to even tell us which is disrespectful when we had planned to spend ~£14k on a bathroom. A new installer had been assigned to start the work 3 1/2 months later (again, without notifying us or checking with us) but the date wouldn’t have been suitable. As we have a dog scared by loud noises, we organised annual leave from work which was difficult to secure so we could keep her out of the way, also booking doggy daycare with non-refundable deposits for the days we couldn’t arrange leave. I really expected more from Wickes which I thought was a company which can be trusted. The call handler seemed complacent about this, indicating this happens to lots of customers.

We have been messed around so will be walking away. So much time and our effort wasted and for nothing. We had our eyes on a Wickes kitchen in a couple of years - at least with this terrible experience we know to spend our money elsewhere and will dodge a bullet.

Update: after the store confirmed no other fitters were available to start work on previously agreed date, and a derisory offer of a ‘potential’ discount on floor tiles not included on the quote, we cancelled this order yesterday. We were not prepared to agree to a new date 3 1/2 months away and run the risk of further inconvenience if the (fourth) installer backs out. I’m at a loss to understand why Wickes is happy to work with installers who are content to cancel jobs once quotes have been finalised and documents signed. Despite Wickes’ response below (and on Twitter) we have had no follow up which doesn’t surprise me given the poor/ non-existent communication to date. Wickes has fundamental shortcomings in its business to resolve if it wants to attract and then retain customers.

Further update - despite Wickes’ response below that this matter would be looked into, and its promise through a DM on Twitter that somebody would be in touch with me early this week (it’s now Thursday), alas I have had no contact with a full explanation or apology. I’m putting this down to the fact that I cancelled the order. If I were in Wickes’ position, I’d be looking for ways to incentivise me to proceed with the order (i.e. beyond a potential discount on floor tiles).

Paul was absolutely amazing from the beginning to the end of the consultation.
Approachable, no pushy at all and listened/advised accordingly. We couldnt be happier with the service.

We were starting a pond refurbishment at Stowting Primary School and the chair of the school PTFA approached Wickes Ashford store to see if they could help us in some way. They responded immediately with an offer of 15 bags of landscape woodchip for paths round the pond. The project has taken a long time but we were delighted that two of the store staff were able to attend a recent Open Morning to see what their donation helped us to achieve.

From planning to Installation it all went pretty smoothly. A couple of very minor niggles but overall really great.
I am really pleased with the finished kitchen.

We were very well looked after by Mykhailo Srakhiv who showed great professionalism and competence. His knowledge on all the different products available was valuable and he took our personal requirements into account whilst ordering our new bathroom. We enjoyed the experience at Wicks due to his excellent customer support and would highly recommend asking for Mykhailo again.

Do not under any circumstances go to WICKES for a kitchen. We was without a working kitchen for 15 months, Three rubbish fitters, ruined my kitchen. We are one of many. Health and safety issues, a child could have fitted better. A 6 day kitchen, took 15 months, illegally took finance when the job had not been signed off, photos and video footage, of pretending to fix one of many problems and it showed they never even touched it, then talking to myself when they said they was finished and told me it was fixed this was the Manager as he was there because of the bad work, then played back the video footage and saw it wasn’t even touch and the manager is on video saying l don’t give a shit how you do it, just get it done. I cannot list all the damage and disgusting work by the fitters, it’s too long.
Yes they admitted it numerous times, agreed it was not acceptable. Just talk, more lies.

We had a fantastic experience working with Charlotte Grimshaw at Wickes. She designed our kitchen beautifully and made it incredibly functional for everyday use. Every detail was carefully thought through, and the final result exceeded our expectations. Charlotte was professional, helpful, creative, and attentive throughout the whole process. We are absolutely delighted with our new kitchen and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented kitchen designer.

Very poor online ordering service. Tried to place a large order of landscaping products which says in stock for delivery. When you get all the way though checkout and topics a date for delivery it’s says out of stock. Spoke to customer service who were very unhelpful and there is no stock and never will be in my local store and they can’t deliver from where there is stock 5 miles away at another store! Ridiculous policy!

Charlotte was fantastic, very professional, patient and gave great assistance and advice with the kitchen design!
