We have found the Bridgwater branch extremely helpful especially Georgia , the kitchen has fitted perfect to the plans she did for us . The after sales have been excellent and overall we are extremely pleased with new kitchen. Huge thanks to Georgia .

​To give credit where it is due, the initial design phase went well, but as soon as we paid, things changed and everything has been incredibly stressful since.

Wickes first failed to fulfil their fitting contract; while our designer did get us a refund for this without a fuss, we were still forced to urgently hire an independent carpenter to keep the project moving.

The installation was underway and all looked perfectly fine—until we peeled back the protective film, only to be hit with the horrifying realisation that they delivered the completely wrong door finish. An entire tower unit had already been fully built, meaning everything now has to be completely dismantled and removed. We explicitly requested a matt finish, but Wickes mistakenly processed our order using an obscure internal abbreviation ('MEL PWT' for high-gloss) on our text-only invoice.

Instead of fixing their administrative error, the Bridgwater store and National Customer Services are just pointing fingers at each other and passing the buck. To make matters worse, once you raise a complaint, it appears to be dealt with by a suspected AI bot; the interaction did not feel human at all, and I strongly suspect that our elusive account manager, 'Jamie', does not even exist.

They are delaying our project and increasing our overall costs while refusing to take ownership of their mistake. We are also left with a massive storage problem for the unfitted units, a prolonged loss of essential kitchen facilities, and have absolutely no idea how long this will take to resolve.

​With zero accountability from Wickes, I am now escalating this to the Furniture and Home Improvement Ombudsman. We deeply wish we had gone with Magnet or Howdens instead. Avoid Wickes completely.

Excellent help and service today from Wickes in Bridgwater when buying rainwater barrels and checking what was need for the kit - a couple were put aside for me and taken to the car to load. In my experience they will always help if you ask!

From entering the store staff were polite and helpful. Georgia (design consultant) went the extra mile to explain all aspects of the work. Payment delivery and installation process.
One hic up regarding 1st communication from the original fitter worked to our advantage. We were given Ian Evens who was a genuine hard working ready to explain guy. Nothing was too much trouble all steps explained, everything worked perfectly. His associated trades Spencer (plastering) Dan Anderson (electrician) all did exactly what was on the tin.
Polite, tidy and respectful couldn’t ask for more.
All the allowances, refunds and guarantees were easy to apply and were processed promptly.
I would recommend Wickes Bridgwater team without hesitation. Definitely prepared to go the extra mile.

Chose & booked kitchen mid February, still waiting. Numerous emails about worktop delivery dates, totally ignored my replies about unsuitability of date given.
Told the rest of the kitchen was arriving last Friday. Took the day off work, no kitchen. Told they were coming today instead, again took the day off work, waited all day, phoned customer experience four times for update & STILL, no kitchen. I've spent three months waiting, they're coming on Monday to start ripping out the existing kitchen, & as yet I have nothing to replace it with.
Not the sort of service I was expecting when planning my 20K kitchen.
Simply not good enough Wickes!!!

Andrew Watkins kitchen designer Bridgwater arrived promptly and talked me through all the options and made really good suggestions.I feel very confident going forward and will definitely be ordering a much needed new kitchen,

We made a booking to book a Kitchen with Andrew to do our kitchen. He was very professional and very passionate about his job. Hes was so transparent about costings and is super knowledgeable about kitchen designing. Unfortunately we did fall in love with a kitchen elsewhere. But his love for the job and helpfullnes just can not go unrecognised. I would highly recommend you speak to Andy if you are looking for kitchen as hes is superb. Thank you.

Had our first meeting in preparation for a new kitchen. Andrew, from the Bridgwater branch, was very knowledgeable, informative and straight talking - exactly what we wanted. Looking forward to seeing what he comes up with in terms of design!

Andy the designer came out to carry out a survey of our bathroom, we asked if we could have the bath taken out and have a walk-in shower. He was very knowledgeable about the products available, he went away done a plan. When seeing what he’d done we were really pleased. And so went ahead with the project. We are so very happy we did,and the end result 😃👍

Still no closer to sorting out my problem with Wickes, keep sending them details of invoice picture of flooring etc, starting to wonder if Scott H who replies to me is AI or just a computer,
Still I'm starting to look at materials for another large project and Wickes are bottom of my search list, the only thing i haven't done so far is taken up the laminate and posted it back to them

Had a bathroom design meeting with Scott & I couldn’t be happier with the results. He was incredibly helpful & knowledgeable throughout the process. Just purchased my solar through Wickes Bridgwater. Andrew Watkins the designer was brilliant throughout the experience. He went out of his way to fit round my busy schedule and went the extra mile.

I had to change a gate and the first lady I approached didn't seem interested and was quite stand offish, black hair. However Graham then served me and he was really really helpful, thank you Graham ❤️

The in store team were very good. Georgia our designer made sure to incorporate everything we had requested and was very patient with the numerous changes we made. Also thank you to Andy for overseeing everything and the recommended installer Ian was exceptional. The only downside was the lack of communication from our coordinator to us and with third parties. Although this was successfully sorted by our installer.

Scott at the Bridgwater store was very helpful, he planned our Kitchen a few years ago and we were glad to see he was still there to help us plan our bathroom. He offered lots of practical advice and it never felt like a hard sell. Would highly recommend

The 5* is for Georgia and for all the help, patience as well as her knowledge of products available.
We feel Georgia is a great asset to the Wickes store in Bridgwater with her fresh outlook on design and friendly attitude.
She helped design and create our perfect kitchen with right mix of drawers, cupboard etc to make it practical and workable.
Nothing was too much trouble and she always communicated with us to let us know what was happening. Very important and sadly a skill lost by many!
The few issues we had were not sorted by the allocated 'project manager' but Georgia.
Great work and much appreciated.

We chose Wickes for our new kitchen as we wanted a 'Shaker ' style in sage green and they met our specification for Neff installed equipment, and features including quality access to the units etc. We had a contractor already in MS Kitchens and Bathrooms of Weston super Mare, and they worked with our chosen Wickes Consultant Andrew Watkins at Wickes Bridgwater Store. Focusing on Andrew, he spent valuable time listing out our requirements, and produced a design to our budget, advising the pro's and con's associated with the layout of our downstairs kitchen replacement. Visiting site he measured the confines of the area and provided us with a model design. Our Consultant Andrew assisted with the delivery of material a few days after works commenced and demolition and removal of the old kitchen, so that the delivery mitigated the impacts of our reduced living conditions, some 166 items for construction. One panel was found to be dented, which was replaced by Wickes within a couple of days. Throughout the whole 5 weeks MS Kitchens and Bathrooms liaised constantly with the Consultant and the whole process was seamless, which meant a stressless process for us as customers. The team we put together also worked with some external independent trades people we employed separately, for example the LVT flooring, and we were delighted with the final build. We believe giving credit where it is due and would like to thank Andrew Watkins Consultant at Wickes Bridgwater, Somerset alongside Mariusz & Kris of MS Kitchens and Bathrooms Weston super Mare, for their outstanding quality of design and construction, approachable and helpful nature. No customer care.Fence panel delivered from Wickes was badly warped, eventually got it collected but no sign of replacement. No offer of compensation and extremely poor customer service. Be advised don’t use Wickes
