Excellent service by Laura Martin Design Consultant at Wickes Christchurch branch who was extremely friendly and helpful in all aspects of choosing a new bathroom. We would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to fit a new bathroom

Even getting a trolley and loading the item.
A credit to the company !!!!

Our Kitchen designer was excellent, and was one of the reasons why we chose a Wicks kitchen instead of the other products we looked at. She listened to our requirements, was kind and respectful of our needs (Mr M has Parkinsons) gave advice on various options, put forward ideas, provided plans for both Bespoke and Lifestyle kitchens so that we had a comparison, explained the product, never hurried us to make a decision and really worked hard to provide the best kitchen within the budget we wanted. The kitchen and worktops are very good quality so am looking forward to seeing the complete kitchen when its finally installed.

We have a 3m by 3m kitchen that we wanted to renew after about 30 years.

We narrowed providers to Wickes and another based upon personal recommendations.
We opted for supply and fit by one company so that there was one company responsible for the entire project.

Our Wickes designer was Lou @Christchurch Dorset
We visited both design companies about 4 times each.

We had a pretty good idea what we wanted and Lou @Christchurch provided a very professional service. The measuring service was excellent.
She explained little modifications that would make it more practical.

We then met the Wickes kitchen fitter, Jason of Tiger property maintenance. I'm pretty good with DIY and Jason impressed in our meeting. He listed some fitting modifications that were required and these enhanced the design.

We then signed off the design.

Then came the fitting.

Day one was rip out. Jason had foreseen that the walls may need replastering. He'd already lined up Andy the plasterer. The electrics also needed a new ring main and he'd lined up an electrician. He also supplied a gas fitter.

To cut a long story short the fitting was brilliant. Jason is far cleaner than me!! His skill level is amazing. He even cut the depth off wall units to make them fit flush under an existing RSJ!

It took 2 weeks.

We did the lino, decorating and wall tiling because we just weren't sure what fittings we required.

So it's now signed off

We have no hesitation in recommending Lou and Jason for their incredible end to end service

Took the time with us to look at the static displays which helped with final choice. Very happy with service.

Our Design Consultant Charmaine was excellent. She took on board our design ideas and made helpful suggestions on how we could improve and maximise the space. She was both patient and proactive in dealing with our purchase and when the kitchen was delivered everything was as expected. The units have some excellent design features which aided assembly.

I have used Wickes in Christchurch now on several occasions for my reception area and shower room. Can't thank them enough especially Katrina, her attention to detail was 5 stars. Be back soon for my kitchen, nothing but 1st class service.

Our kitchen was installed by David Saunders. We couldn't be happier. Our kitchen is exactly how we wanted it. He has done an amazing job and made sure everything has gone smoothly. He is very polite and nothing is too much trouble. All the other people involved were excellent too.

Your staff member of staff (Bonnie) went beyond helpful. She very quickly understood my need, displayed a high degree of common sense and offered solutions. She's an absolute credit to your organisation.

Shocking lack of service. Waited for earliest available delivery slot (3 days). Stayed home all day and in checking order, the status says delivered. Delivery signature is not mine. Delivery is not with neighbours. After 40 Isles minutes on the phone I'm now told I have to wait for 'investigations' to conclude with no idea when that will be. So in the meantime I'm out of pocket. Leaves me no choice but to initiate credit card chargeback. Total disinterest on the phone. Avoid.

Update... after another call to Wickes' customer service I received a call from the Christchurch store. The store manager told me she'd discussed with the delivery driver who had proof he delivered to my home! How can I interpret that in any other way than being viewed by her as a complete liar? Eventually, with no interest and no apology she initiated a refund. What a totally unprofessional delivery and follow up response. No customer service whatsoever. Never again.

Have been using my local Wickes for a few years now, staff always very helpful with whatever I need and very friendly.
As a decorator I actually go buy products that are a lot cheaper than my local decorators merchant which is a bonus.
Just picked up their own brand trade white emulsion, as good as Dulux and half the price 🤗👍🏼

Ordered 16 bags of compost that was meant to be delivered on Saturday. Stayed in all day waiting for it and got a phone call about 6pm to say the van had broken down. The guy on the phone assured me that it will be delivered in the morning on Sunday.
After mid day Sunday I got a call to say they couldn't find a driver this time so can't deliver to us.
I have waisted my entire weekend waiting for this delivery only to be fobbed off with a different excuse each time.
The guy on the phone hung up after our conversation in which I was annoyed but didn't swear. I now have no idea if I'm getting my £100 back or the compost will be delivered on a later date.
This has been handled really badly and I won't use them again

We returned to the Christchurch store as we required another kitchen and what a pleasant experience it was
We were impressed with your new showroom, but its our kitchen designer Louise who stole the show. From the start she was accommodating to our needs, but also offered invulnerable advice, providing alternatives and solutions with a smile.

Thoroughly looked after by Lou at the Christchurch store. We were budget conscious but also picky and Lou worked with us to help us achieve our kitchen goals which is now suiting our ever growing family down to a T.

Shambles! We had a new kitchen installed and the installer has made so many errors to the kitchen. Over six weeks of calls to customer services we are no closer to resolving anything! Broken promises are all we had. No promised call backs, no nothing! Absolute hopeless company to deal with. We are now in the process of escalating everything.

The bathroom fixtures & installation look amazing/outstanding. Ziggy the fitter was brilliant, very professional, diligent & very clean.

Would recommend to my family & friends.

Really helpful, polite team. Provides a swift and efficient service. Have used frequently over the years and always consistently good. Thank you.

Louise @ Christchurch - Excellent service from a very friendly and knowledgeable designer. We like the common sense, customer first ethos that Wickes have, coupled with a very good product. Louise was soooooo patient with us whilst we asked a million questions and designed our dream kitchen. Always on your side giving you really good advice, no hard sell just really good at what she does.
