It felt good shopping today, I haven't been in this store for some months and it was well stocked and with lots of new items too...
At the checkout the lady was very plight and helpful, also opened my trade card for me.

As a trademan I am. Always in and out of this store and always find it friendly and helpful Corey one of the staff is always very helpful and goes out his way to help out keep up the good work guys

Great experience at Wickes Corby as usual. Very helpful and efficient staff, particularly Tina who went above and beyond, her sense of humour is also to be commended. Looking forward to my next visit.

As usual, the service at Wickes Corby, especially Tina, was brilliant. I am a Tradesman so visit on a regular basis. I have never left the store disgruntled or annoyed. Keep it up.

Grateful for the friendly staff in Wickes today. Tina was superb in helping me due to price changes/reductions and also helped me get set up with wickes trade pro.

Spent close to £15,000.00 on a new bathroom from Wickes. Even though this was a lot of money, I choose Wickes due to them taking control of everything from the design stage, delivery, and find an installer. I was prepared to pay this premium price to save the stress of doing this all myself. The only part I can speak highly of was is my installer, who has been very professional throughout and his workmanship has been great.

My installer started the work on 9th December, and said it would take approx 10 working days. Our bathroom would then be ready and complete in good time for Xmas. It is now 5th February, and our shower still isn't functioning properly. This I stress is no fault of my installer. For my shower to work, I need to hold down low the handheld shower head. I have been told that to fix this with a power booster could cost another £750.00. I simply cannot afford to pay anymore for my bathroom.

Throughout the process there has been numerous issues both my installer and I have faced.

1. All items were not delivered prior to my installer starting. This caused a delay and my installer could not fit the bathroom within 10 days. Some items did not come until after Xmas, so although the shower was not functioning correctly, my installer could not finish the paneling and fit the trimming until after Xmas.

2. The customer experience center was not a pleasant experience. I did not speak directly on the phone with my experience ever. He responded to my calls/emails late. My installer tried numerous times as well, and when we did get through to someone, it was never our designated customer experience advisor. There was one really helpful person called Donna who did go above and beyond after I complained about the lack of communication on deliveries, in correct deliveries and deliveries not arriving on time.

I made an official complaint on 19th December. I was told this has been escalated on the 29th December. I have not heard back from a manager regarding my complaint, and have since chased twice.

The 'look' of my 'finished' (shower not working properly) bathroom is great, as I said my installer has been great in every area. However, the stress caused by incorrect orders, late deliveries, poor customer experience, and a bathroom that is still not fully functional almost 2 months after my installer started, is not what I expected when paying premium for my bathroom.

At 19:20 on the 21.10 .2024 I went to the store this was my second time in the store today I I just wanted a member of staff to show me a bulb I was looking for and they both could not be bothered moving from the till area to help show I looked again and then just left shop were I then got the part from screw fix were the staff were great I will not visit wikes corby again when I do normally spend a decent amount of money in there train your staff manors and why there at work to work

Had a new kitchen installed last week Fromm Wickes Corby. Simon the fitter and the electrician & gas fitters were excellent. The Kitchen is just what we wanted. Simon could not do any more for us would recommend

It was a worrying time but Jake Charles reassured us that it would be a good job. All appointments were met as promised and deliveries arrived on the dates stated. One shower panel was damaged on delivery but this was soon replaced. Sandris, the bathroom installer was clean, tidy and worked hard to have everything ready quickly.

The Corby Design Team were amazing in the whole process and a special shout out to Jackie who kept us fully informed at all times and even was flexible when we wanted to slightly amend things. Our whole in store experience from start to finish with the Corby store was fantastic.
Issues did arise when the first fitter wanted to charge us for leaving us with a functioning toilet overnight, this was quickly resolved by Corby store who arranged another fitter. That fitter dropped out as well and we were finally given another fitter who was amazing and I highly recommend (Ian).
We are absolutely delighted with the bathroom and the workmanship.

The down side was that recently a customer care centre has been employed and to be honest add no value to the whole process. Any issues I had I went to the design team in Corby and they resolved.
We were assigned a Customer Care person who after an initial few phone calls disappeared and I had to call several times to find out who the new Customer care person was. Asked several times for our new Customer Care person to call but got nothing from her.
By the time she even decided that she wanted to speak to us we had given up and I never spoke to her through out the whole process. Eventually had some emails from another person and never spoke to them either as I could not be bothered to waste my time speaking to people who obviously do not care. So that experience is why I have marked the process down.
My honest opinion is let the store deal with the process and get rid of the Customer Care Centre and save a lot of money.
