Awful service overall. Placed an order for £500+ of fencing. Booked time off today and the weekend. Delivery was due today. Online char still said it would be delivered within the timeframe. Called customer service now and was on hold 30 minutes. Customer service said they could not contact the Dunstable store but it was cancelled. I had not been contacted in any way to tell me this and that it was now going to be delivered Monday when I'm back at work. Tried to suggest they find a solution but after a while of discussion that I now have no fence with my house backing into public space they hung up. Still no official email message to tell me if it really is being delivered Monday and no real attempt at finding a solution or even an explanation why it was cancelled. I did explain that if I had been told it was cancelled I would not have taken my old fence down. No one seems to care any more and it just seems that it's your problem and not theirs. It was great to be able to go in store and browse without pressure but then to find someone to help and book an appointment with for a bathroom refit.
Having come out to measure our bathroom, the instore design appointment was really good. Questions were answered, helpful suggestions made and ideas on display in store were looked at before deciding upon out final design.

We were listened to and the service was great. Nothing was a problem for Wickes, everything was dealt with calmly and effectively. Top rate of service.

We have just had our kitchen fitted and I cannot tell you how thrilled I am with it. Raph, our kitchen designer has been a pleasure to deal with, at every point and he certainly knows his job. We couldn’t be more happy with the design. The quality is fantastic, every drawer and cupboard is a pleasure to open compared to my previous kitchen. The delivery process was as promised with great communication along the way. Dean our kitchen fitter was exceptional. Never at any point did I feel like I had a stranger in my home. He was a pleasure to have around and a true professional. His work is outstanding, he left everything clean and tidy every day and his communication was brilliant. He worked to the timescales he had promised and I can’t recommend him enough. 10/10 Wickes Dunstable, you have a very very happy customer. Thank you for everything.

Raphael provided excellent advice and guidance during the design of our kitchen. He clearly knows what he is doing and does it well.
The kitchen hasn’t been delivered yet so I’ll be doing a follow up review later.

Fantastic staff especially Marie. She went above and beyond to help. Didn't know about the trade discount. As I am in the construction industry she helped me set it up. Very lovely lady. Found everything we needed and at a great price.

I had to return an item and exchange it for another. Marie who dealt with me,was friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable. She made it very easy for me. Thanks marie

My interaction with one of your staff members by the name of Marie was excellent, she was both helpful and courteous.

Nigel helped me with my problems. He is very knowledgeable and understands that not every customer is an expert. Very polite and professional.

Once more I could find what I wanted easily. And at the till once again Marie looked after me, with a little flirt!

Customer service was really good from start to finish, we were kept up to date with installation and progress and everything went to plan. Bathroom is just as we wanted it (designed by Joanne) and we are very happy. I wanted a complete service so that I did not have to do anything and Wickes were able to provide that.

Staff always helpful, particularly marie, she always helps and always has a smile! Shelves are also well stocked

Marie was very helpful and has been every time I went to wickes.
She took time today to help to became a wickes pro member .
We need people like Marie in our hardware stores .

Raphael Simmons from the Dunstable branch designed, measured and priced for my new bathroom. I found him to be polite, reliable, genuine and easy to get along with in general. Any queries I had were answered effectively and quickly. He was very knowledgable and helpful. Raphael is a credit to Wickes and I would recommend his advice on new bathroom/kitchen designs in the future.

Raphael was extremely helpful and insightful from the get go for our kitchen, every single question or any issue that came up he was right there to help and advise, even with changing the specialist workers for us too. We are extremely pleased with our completely renovated kitchen which needed a lot of work done. Would highly recommend Raphael to anyone.

Our experience of ordering our bathroom design through Wicks was extremely smooth from beginning to completion, having it fitted through them. Joanne their design consultant and sales representative at the Dunstable store was brilliant. Our bathroom is very small but she was able to design a beautifully fitted shower, sink, toilet incorporating fitted units and storage cupboards with a lovely counter on top. Also communication was really good keeping us informed every step of the way. Nothing was too much. She chose excellent fitters who worked to a very high standard and again kept us informed and respected our property. We would recommend Wicks highly who also did our kitchen a few years ago!

Marie or Maria was unbelievably helpful and cheerful, literally saved my life 😂. I was placing an online order for £600+ had ordered a voucher but hadn’t realised it was in store use only. I went to the store and Maria placed the order in store., arranged delivery and sorted the voucher. All towards the of the day about 1940. Thank you, stopped my wife divorcing me

Very unexpected service from Wickes Dunstable yesterday and today from the same shop assistant Marie, yesterday I was purchasing a bath, I asked for one from the deposit as the one on the shelf was scratched. The reply from the deposit was, “the other we have are even more damaged”

So ended up buying the scratched one, the shop assistant expressed her judgement saying” ooooh you will be fine with that. Yes I might be. However she is not paying for the job so I let the customer decide whether is fine or not! (I would remind Marie to stick with her job) specially in front of damaged items.

Today i purchased different materials, laminated boards and all of them were chipped and scratched plus the cut finish is very questionable.

I asked for a discount as the boards are not in good conditions. Marie replied, “ no discount for stuff like that” so my questions to Wickes is, is the new policy to sell crap stuff? Or is a mix of employees not able to their job, constantly damaging items with inappropriate handling and the. Trying to sell them anyway so none complains?
