Mareena from Hayes Wickes was so helpful throughout the entire process. Helped us decide what it was that we wanted when we felt directionless and came to our property to do a proper measure-up for us. I was expecting the process to be stressful and time consuming but they made it so simple. Couldn’t have done it without her.

Great experience from start to finish. Mareena from the Hayes branch was excellent and even rectified some issues I had with ease. She designed the kitchen to maximise space and amended plans when I needed. Delivery was quick and very careful. Highly recommended

Great service from Ryan on Tuesday, helped me find everything I needed

I came in on Tuesday to purchase some lengths of Battons and external screws. The store didn’t have any trolleys which wasn’t great.

I spoke with Ryan the manager who explained unfortunately they only had 5/6 safe to use trolleys but we’re waiting for new ones.

This too wasn’t great, But wow was he amazing. He found all the items I came in to buy carried them all to the tills and again to my car.

It’s customer service like that which is why I will return to this store for my future projects. And hopefully there’s a trolley I can use.

Right from the very start Shahin was extremely helpful and explained everything to us including all the many options available. He then planned our kitchen perfectly. The fitters were amazing, especially Jack, who consulted with us all the way through to make sure we were happy. The result is we have the kitchen of our dreams. Definitely happy we chose Wickes. Highly recommended.

Recently had a bathroom design appointment with a delightful lady called Mareena.

She was very professional an accommodating to my design and query needs.

We had our kitchen designed by Mareena at Wickes Hayes. She was professional and extremely helpful. She ensured we were completely satisfied with the layout and the types of cabinets used around the space we have. We are grateful to her expertise and dedication. Thank you Mareena !

I ordered 3 radiators online and popped to the Ealing store to pick them up.

When I got home, I noticed one was scratched. It looks like someone drag it across a concrete floor.

I was advised by online customer services to take it back to any store for an exchange.

Because of the traffic to Ealing, I decided to return it to the Hayes store.

I asked a worker at the counter if I could return the radiator here as it was damaged. She looked flustered and confused and said she needs to ask someone as it’s not her job and went off to serve another customer. Fair enough others were waiting too.

When she was free of other customers she pointed out to me again it’s not her job but someone is coming.

A man came and told her it’s fine to do a return which she relayed and pointed out she doesn’t know how to do it as it’s not her job.

Another fella popped along. He scanned the radiator and mumbled something then left.

I was waiting for about 5 minutes when the woman handed me a receipt for a refund.

Confused, I asked her am I supposed to wait for the man to come back with another radiator or do I just pick up another radiator.

She said just go pick one up. I asked if she could check the stock, in case the online system was wrong as in the morning it showed no stock. She said just go check and pointed in some direction and made a note of how it’s not her job as she works on the counter and to ask someone else.

I found what I needed, paid and left.

There was very little communication. Online CS had told me to have it exchanged yet at the store they refunded it without me knowing until I was handed a receipt and told to go buy another.

I get people who go to places like Wickes know how things work but I hadn’t been to one in years.

I definitely would not have expected to be told ‘it's not my job’ and ‘go ask someone else’.

I genuinely was shocked that this is the level of customer service at Wickes Hayes.

Just to add, today (15/08) I’ve found out that they didn’t refund me £70 for the radiator as is shown on the refund receipt they handed me but they deducted £10 for a ‘free item’ which Wickes CS and the store failed to tell me that needs to be returned as well even though I purchased the exact same radiator as replacement. I only found out when I contacted their CS who told me that £10 was deducted for the free item and I should have been told that and there is nothing they can do now but forward a complaint to the store. Ridiculous!

I bought 4 x 145l black storage boxes and they absolutely stink like a rat has died next to them. Waking up this morning the smell of death has stunk out my flat. Why would u send out products stinking like this. Not happy one bit and have to put up with the vile stench until they are picked up.

Staff and the managers were very unprofessional, speaks utterly nonsense. I had a problem of wrong parts delivered. No one is interested to resolve the issue. They say they have not delivered and not ready to talk to delivery team where the delivery came from. Totally nonsense, utterly un professional. I had to stop the work and still have to pay the builder just because of the error they made. I am at loss.

Shahin Aziz was very helpful. Explained everything in detail. Came to the house and measured everything. Gave good ideas on areas we could have improved on. Made sure we took advantage of all the relevant offers. Didn't try to oversell, which we liked. The whole process was smooth. Thanks Shahin

The staff at the Hayes store are always friendly and helpful. The kitchen designer there - Shahin, was very patient and suggested things for my kitchen that I never considered. Taking his advice, I'm now delighted with my units, worktop and kitchen appliances. I bought my sink from somewhere else and Wickes was fine with that. I must say it does pay to buy a kitchen in the sale because I previously bought a kitchen (from Wickes) seventeen years ago and my new one in January. The cost of the kitchen 17 years ago was £300 more!
