Mo was really helpful and went above an beyond to help great customer service

We visited the store on the hunt for kitchens and were very pleasantly surprised at the range and quality of the kitchens on offer. We made the decision to purchase as James from the kitchen design team was very attentive, made the whole experience very calm and easy. He is an asset to the company. Overall, a very good experience so far.

From day one of ordering a kitchen and a lot of extra bits which cost a lot of money. from wickes my experience has been dreadful!

1st I was given a date for delivery that I specifically payed extra for and I was all prepared for that date as I was on a tight schedule.
I was then waiting on the day of my delivery and nothing turned up.

I contacted customer services to ask what the issue was and apparently I was suppose to call them after I’d placed the order and schedule a delivery date…
But on the checkout of my order I payed for a specific date that was around a week later.

So I had to wait two weeks in total, for the kitchen, yea it arrived and yes it was all there and in good condition.

My next step of the order was 40 packs of laminate flooring, that arrived 2 days later and when they opened the back of the lorry it was all tipped over on its side and every pack was damaged,

I then contact wickes customer Service and then I was told to return them as I could get the swapped, so I was happy about that, then I turned up at the store with my van fully loaded with 40 packs of laminate to them be told I can’t bring them back, so I wasted a journey and went back to the property I was working on and called customer services, the person I was speaking to couldn’t understand me and I couldn’t understand them.

3 days later I was told to go back again and take them to the warehouse at the back of the store to exchange them.
I was sceptical about doing this for the second time as last time it failed!
So with the staff huffing and puffing as you can imagine them stressing out as I was not happy.

I didn’t get offered anything in return, not even an apology.

And now I’m still working for my official complaints form to be responded to after I had an email I will get a reply within 48 hours,

This is now nearly two months later and after all that I don’t even get a reply or an apology.

People may think I’m exaggerating but honestly I’m not!

And now when I go to my local store, I have a very weird feeling that the staff are aware of who i am because no one wants to help me and I get looked at funny.

So if anyone was to ask me if I would go to wickes again, yes I will and have but I won’t visit my local
Store and I’ll make sure I never have to communicate with customer service again!

Great staff, Mo's a top geezer, always says "morning".. Store in general has good stock and price plus is located near my home, go to place for my buisness

Everytime I have been to the store Kerry has been really helpful, always helping me find things and offering to help with carrying my purchases, great team overall

Visited the store this morning 02/10/25 to purchase a water butt that was very economical in price.
On the checkout was a delightful young lady whose name was Kirsty, she was extremely professional in her manner and was very pleasant and friendly. Due to the size of the water butt she did ask if I could manage to carry it to my vehicle which once again showed her commitment to full customer service. With this in mind I certainly will be returning to the store for materials for my next project.

Kirsty and Nathan was exceptionally in their customer service earlier today , never experienced such patience from a staff like they did .

Super helpful staff. Since starting renovations at my house I’ve been visiting the store a lot. Becky has been really helpful in showing me what I’m looking for and always offering recommendations. I would recommended wickes to anyone doing home improvements.

Wickes Hull. Are awful customer service by phone. Ordered online a click and collect cancel by phone at Hull on 11th September. They didnt canal as they said..It was only me ringing today l told it hadn't be cancelled. Have to wait another 5 days for refund. They are quick to take money but not refund or cancel order. Will not be shopping here again

James the kitchen designer was very knowledgeable and came up with great ideas

Easy to find items, good range of paint colours, reasonably priced and good quality.

Staff very friendly and helpful especially Kirsty on the checkout

Visited Wickes in Hull today and received excellent service, the staff that I spoke to were all very helpful and polite. Great service

We have been going to Wickes for many DIY projects and Rebecca was very helpful and pleasant.An asset to the Hull store.
