The staff member was extremely knowledgeable and understanding about my requirements of the kitchen. Was punctual on time and left me with a brochure and agreed to meeting time for next week.

Elizabeth was really knowledgeable about plumbing, what would fit and what wouldn't, and what could be done in our bathroom. She answered all our questions and was very professional.

Our experience with Wickes began in February, it is now June, and we’re still having to go through ongoing stress and inconvenience.
1. Incorrect items ordered. No acceptance of responsibility or apology. Asked to pay over £500 to order correct items BEFORE receiving refund for incorrect items.
2. Fire in the bathroom caused by negligence of installers. All of the upstairs of our house needed repairs and decorating, including two bedrooms (one being a baby nursery) and, of course, the bathroom. Myself being 36 weeks pregnant and toddler stay elsewhere for 4 days due to the smoke and ash everywhere. Very short timeframe to find a painter & decorator, carpet cleaners, deep cleaning company. Dry cleaning needed for curtains, bedsheets, clothes etc. and items in the nursery needing to be replaced. All damages were paid for by installers, and promptly, which was gratefully appreciated. Also, compensation received from Wickes (not an easy process) for the negligence, inconvenience and emotional distress.
3. Communication awful at first after the fire. No help or contact from Wickes until over 24 hours after the fire - although phone calls made and emails sent. We were told to go to the Wickes store to speak to the manager the following day, to arrive and find out the manager was at a conference. Requested for the manager to be phoned, and when spoke with her, told she had not experienced this before so didn’t know what to do.
4. Installers complete bathroom, however, the follow issues have occurred since:
-Toilet leaked all over bathroom floor.
-Heated towel rail caused a hole/damage in the bedroom next to the bathroom.
-Socket not added, although paid for and part of the order (fault of the Wickes in store advisor not installers).
-Shower screen fell down to the floor and broke the toilet seat on its way down.
5. Then, receiving an invoice from the installers for over £1400 for ‘specialist work’ / extra work completed, including putting up the LED mirror and socket, as well as pipe work. The bathroom taps now run very slowly, compared to before the bathroom was fitted, and the socket has been poorly fitted, with damage to the paint (also not the socket we requested - fault of in store advisor). When we met with the Wickes in store advisor we were asked if we wanted everything included in the price, to which we said yes, including the installers - rather than finding our own. The bathroom was over £9,000.
6. So, the expectation being that we now give the majority of the compensation money received for the fire to the installers that caused the fire. This matter has not been resolved as yet.
UTTER DISBELIEF.

Appointment booked => various reminders received => client attendance confirmed with consultant no show => message taken by the cashier staff => no contact since… well there are plenty of other service providers out there to choose from.

Really good store. Lots of paint. Some seems to be collecting dust and the store across the road does the Dulux mini roller touch up paint cheaper and seems to have a wider selection of different types of paints and options. The chrome fan I purchased also did not last as long as I would have hoped and lacked up after a year or two. Staff are always really nice and helpful. For doing do-it-yourself jobs it is really good and quite inspiring, some decent value and deals, large range of stock and things you thought you would never need or thought you would need which is good.

Served by a lovely lady called Emily S, excellent service, she went the extra mile to ensure I had everything I needed, perfect example of customer service 10/10!

Ordered some tiles from the Shipley store . Mixed batch codes arrived .
Customer service useless ! Spoke to store , sorted out .
The store manager Paul delivered in his car the next day the correct ones and took the ones not needed back.
Quite a mix up. But he sorted it for me , and the store people on the phone . So thankyou

Sent the wrong doors and it was impossible to get through by phone to get them collected again , we asked for a refund as we had to get the doors from another source .No communication from Wicks at all and had to escalate from PayPal to get things moving ..refund eventually came through via PayPal and we have still had no communication from Wick..very disappointing service from a supposedly reputable firm

So this is a follow up from a 2 reviews before as its still not resolved where we had problems with our kitchen
So the rest of the tower unit came so we got the fitter back round and the side panels were damaged
I had a look online and although they were different product numbers, the tower unit they have in store is the same from design team
So I went in and said could I have one of the ones off the shelf as mine was broke
They said yes but you would need to buy it and we will give you refund for broken one but it needs to be collected.....last I heard from them
The door panels for the kitchen also had little dents in them but we just wanted our kitchen and installed them
If you have a problem at wickes they will try help you up until you're out of sight then they will do nothing!
We also complained online to customer service but they said its nothing to do with them apparently
Still waiting on Refund for tower unit we had to pay for twice due to one coming broken
They say someone will call us but they never do!!
Honestly after spending around 4k with them you would of thought we would of had better customer service but everytime you speak to someone they say its someone else who has to deal with it

Spent over 8k last year getting a new bathroom. Very excited and thought I was in good hands.
I have had nothing but issues this year. The shower started to leak. This was dealt with rather quickly as it was coming through the kitchen ceiling. Someone come out and put silicon all round the bathroom. This appeared to resolve the issue. Unfortunately the water damage has got into the floor and the floor has now expanded being im unable to close the bathroom door.
On the 18th April I reported the toilet also leaking no one got back to me until the 28th April. By this time it was to late and I needed to get it repaired.
I am having to chase for updates from customer service with no reply most of the time. The waste pipe needs replacing in the sink, still no update. All of these issues are still ongoing with no solutions. Its very concerning that the bathroom is less than a year old and I've had to face all of these issues. Extremely disappointed. I will never trust Wickes again.

Had a very good experience with wickes , from start to finish - the company wickes used for the installation of our kitchen was BKB .
Sabar ( kitchen fitter ) was very friendly , knowledgeable and professional. Asked questions where needed and always made sure we were happy with what he had done . All in all very happy with the outcome . Thank you !

It was a pleasure to shop at Wickes Beverley Store today. Tracy M is always friendly and helpful, as are all the staff.

I had great service from the beginning from my design consultant Nathan, who designed the kitchen with all of my ideas within the scope of the size of the room, making it both beautiful and practical. The units are of a very good quality and the worktop is stunning. I had a great installer, Erwin who has done an amazing job not only with the kitchen but with the extras that were needed to complete the kitchen in the time scale specified. Both Nathan and Erwin have been very professional and I have had a very positive experience.

Kitchen arrived with half of it damaged or missing 10 weeks later I’m still waiting for a base unit corner post. I’ve had 2 wall units and a corner unit arrive since it was reported but no corner post. They tried to deliver another unit today but I don’t have the room for any more incorrect parts.
The design team and store manager washed their hands of it said it’s customer service now. Customer service sent the last unit. On hold for over an hour waiting to speak to someone.
I would not recommend Wickes as they don’t give a flying f@ck once you’ve paid for it

Elizabeth in kitchen design was incredibly patient and helpful. I am at an early stage of sorting out my plans. She could not have been more supportive. I had a very positive experience.

I ordered 4 large bags of garden soil.I was phoned just before delivery to let me know plus the delivery driver was so helpful bringing the bags inside my door.He was a really nice man.

Emma did. She was attentive, got us help, and was conscientious to others queuing when our order took a bit longer than usual. Lovely manner, and professional.
