Luke was amazing, helped me out in finding the perfect timber that i needed and offered excellent customer service.

Will definitely shop here again!

We got a new bathroom and kitchen from Wickes, Stevenage. Joe was simply amazing, nothing too much trouble, he was accomodating to our haphazard approach to the design procedure and guided us with patience and our best interests paramount to him. Once we had placed our order, there were some issues with delivery dates and Joe had fixed the problem before I had got in touch with him to query it. We had constant updates and hand holding throughout the whole install, all without asking, when there was an issue I just thought "Joe will deal with it", and he did! Delighted with the finished product and although I think Wickes may not be cheapest, ultimately you get what you pay for. Cannot recommend Joe (and by extension Wickes) highly enough.

When we came to choose our bathroom Joe McGregor couldn’t be more helpful in helping us to finalise our decision. Joe also kept us updated on delivery times which were achieved. We can’t thank him enough for his knowledge, professionalism and outstanding customer service! Very satisfied with the quality of our bathroom and would definitely recommend their products!

With a Kitchen and Bathroom in dire need of updating, I dropped by Wickes, Stevenage on the off chance in passing. Primarily to get some ideas from the vast amount of products on display. I walked out having ordered new doors/worktops/end panels/etc for the kitchen, as the carcasses were originally purchased back in 2008 and were still in perfect condition (testament to the build quality). Everything was delivered on time, undamaged and with no hassle.

Same for the bathroom when I ordered that a couple of weeks later.

Joe McGregor has been extremely helpful from the start. Patience of a saint...given I changed my mind on the bathroom a number of times! His wealth of knowledge in this area was much appreciated and he kept in contact throughout (via email and phone) to ensure I was happy. Will definitely be making contact with him for future work.

All in all, very happy with experience thus far

I met with Helen Lloyd from the Stevenage branch. She was very knowledgeable and friendly, I felt reassured and at ease during our consultation. I did not feel rushed or pressured to make a decision and she was able to provide me with options and guidance in choosing the right kitchen. Wickes have excellent value for money kitchens to suit all budgets and with 0% Finance it was a win win for me. I would highly recommend a visit to see for yourself.

Be suspicious of any company which states it cannot be judged on its delivery. Wickes is shocking when it comes to re-scheduling and cancelling deliveries.

Half a kitchen has arrived and who knows when the rest will come. It’s been very stressful trying to find anything out from Wickes as it takes an hour to get through. Please consider all this aggravation if you are looking at buying a kitchen.

I wouldn’t go back!

I have been visiting wickes for the past 6 years and whenever I see Tony he’s always smiling and pleasant. He’s always willing to assist and very helpful and knowledgeable. Very sad that most of the other staff members are not so pleasant! I highly recommend that he assist with training others on the art of customer satisfaction! Well done Tony!!!

Tony in the Stevenage shop was most helpful for locating the tiles I wanted, loading them and unloading them.

Went to store to order products for home delivery. James store assistant was very helpful and efficient. Great service.

Arrived at store, needing assistance and was approached by Tony who's product knowledge was outstanding, who guided and helped me put my order together...he is a Star!

From the start we were impressed with the choice of kitchens available to view at the store.
We were lucky to have Helen on board to guide us through the planning and design and was helpful through out the process.
Our Wickes kitchen Fitter Paul was brilliant and made a big difference too to how well the finished result looked.

3 weeks ago I ordered some pine skirting boards. They delivered it 3 days before my requested delivery date wrapped in huge amounts of plastic bubble wrap. Every single piece of skirting was of poor quality. Should not have been sold, should have been used as firewood as that would be its only useful purpose.

But that aside, I call customer service for their help, it’s so far taken over 12 days for a resolution and still nothing has been done about my refund. They won’t allow me to take it back to their store, they won’t send anyone to collect it, they won’t offer a replacement, I’m just at a stalemate because their terms state that it can’t be sent back. Well don’t send out such poor quality timber and we won’t have these problems!

The worst part is the after sales customer service. This is what’s letting it down.

Item said in stock, couldn't find asked girl there to check - after 15mins I have up.

Very poor customer service.

Young lad totally disinterested in helping

Update 07/07/25 - Never did get a private message from them despite there response, and no one ever reached out.

Now 1 year on one of the panels on the sink has started warping. Really annoyed I used Wickes particularly with how much it cost.

First issue was a damaged front door by the wickes delivery man attempting to bring a bath in on his own, of which we have since discovered is cracked after fully tiling (Third issue)

Second issue, both basins were damaged, luckily swapped out the next day.

Fourth issue, which is ongoing, is a damaged shower plate.

This list is not exhaustive as we have not even started the downstairs bathroom!

Great design service but completely let down by the poor delivery services (services as they come from numerous different places using various couriers) and QA process they have (or do not have) in place.

Also the attitude of some of there customer services team has been nothing short of appalling.

Would not recommend or use again.

UPDATE 11.07.24 - A day and a half has passed since a) I provided the requested details, and b) a Wickes customer service operative shouted at my wife nearly making her cry (I will be requesting copies of the recorded call) and no contact has been made.

UPDATE 15.07.24 - Still nothing from
wickes and instead of a replacement shower valve plate they have just delivered a new shower screen!

Had a really good experience today in Wickes Stevenage- big thank you to Tony Crowley who has great knowledge and took the time to explain each part of the process.
I cannot recommend Wickes enough.They are highly professional and very skilled.
I was given plenty of time for the kitchen design sessions and to see what I was looking for being produced on screen in virtual reality was amazing.
