Went to the store for my husband and wasn't really sure what I was after. The staff were amazing and couldn't be more helpful finding everything I needed. Thankyou

Booked an appointment for a solar panel installation quote . Quick and easy to do . Very informative

Needed four bags of cement, which are heavy.
I have a swollen knee and painful back.
I asked if someone could get them for me and to load into the boot of my car.
Francesca and Shell helped straight away.
One lady went straight away to get the bags of cement and the lady on the till looked at my photo of the cement I needed and got the details from the photo so I could pay as it was being loaded into the boot of the car!
Absolutely diamond of ladies!

Store insisted on putting my refund on a gift card, despite asking for it to be a refund. I wrote to customer complaints. As I was sending a £100+ gift card, I used signed for postage. I asked them
To cancel the gift card and pop it in my bank.
Three days later, I received l a letter, which was my letter, with the gift card, and written on the letter in hand writhing was ‘this is the responsibility of Sutton in Ashfield’
Not professional, not good customer service, not acceptable. I wrote a complaints about my complaint and they did nothing!

I went into the store looking for timber. Carl was excellent in giving advice, the right product for the job. Thanks Carl.

I feel I must write about my experience in Wickes store in Sutton in Ashfield. The store is really well presented, always tidy and clean. The whole atmosphere is very professional which makes you feel you are dealing with professional people. As a woman I often need assistance as I have to admit that often don't know the detail of what I am trying to purchase. The staff are always so helpful, they go out of their way to find you the correct assistance and always guide you without any pressure. It is a real pleasure to shop there. They are my first port of call and I recommend all my friends to go there.
In the past I have bought the wrong item and have returned to the store where I have been treated with respect and my item changed immediately for the right item.
The reason I am sending this email is I feel people are quick to complain but rarely praise when staff are obviously working extremely hard to give a good service and clearly care about their customers.
Thankyou to everyone at Wickes in Sutton and may you continue to give such good customer service.

An excellent range of kitchens in store.....

The designer Neil Morgan was absolutely brilliant. He was extremely knowledgeable about the kitchen, but he helped us to choose and gave us clearly defined reasons why we should choose this or choose that.

He knew everything about every part of a kitchen.

He introduced us to "pinch points" which untill we met him, we hadn't heard of....but these are so important.

I have a habit of getting too involved and therefore send lots and lots of e-mails......but kept being told by Neil that it really wasn't a problem.

Nothing was too much trouble and we felt very much at ease........Neil didn't help us to buy a kichen, he helped us to choose one.

Wanted paint, been all over and could not find the colour I wanted. Went to Wicks Sutton in Ashfield branch. Met Heidi in the paint section, had a good discussion an Heidi showed me Dulux Mix colour choices. We found colour I wanted, Heidi mixed a sample pot for me. This colour was perfect match for my paper. Returned next day and had large tin mixed. Heidi is a credit to wicks, price was good and I am a happy customer.

From the moment we walked into Wickes, we were met by Neil Morgan. He was friendly and helpful but not in a pushy way. Thank you for your advice and patience.
We talked about what we wanted, he made an appointment to come to our house and advise.
We returned 4 days later, chose our cupboards, worktops and accessories. We signed on the dotted line.
We also really wanted Olly and his team to install our kitchen. We already knew 4 customers experiencing Olly’s professional work so we have seen it first hand.
My dad recently sadly passed and left us some money so a new kitchen in his memory.
We can’t wait for Olly and his team to start work very soon.
If you are thinking of a new kitchen make sure Wickes is top of your list.

We recently has a new kitchen and Richard couldn't have been more helpful! We were first time buyers and Richard helped us to gain an understanding of the whole process and how to utilise the space best and really brought the ideas we had to reality. Couldn't recommend more highly!

Very impressed with the Kitchen design service. My designer Nick was very patient and really took the time to understand what would work for me and the limited amount of space avaliable.
Nick put me at ease and took time to explain every step and got everything I wanted within budget.

We had our kitchen fitted in January 24, it took a while as it was a big job and I am delighted with everything. The fitters were brilliant, and everything has remained as it should despite the heavy use it gets. The only thing that let's it down a little is the Electrolux dishwasher. It isn't the best at getting everything clean especially at the corners of the bottom shelf.

Can’t thank Nick Driscoll enough for the time and effort he put into helping us with our new kitchen. Very very helpful and knowledgeable and nothing was to much trouble.

Had a new bathroom designed. Ripped old bathroom out in the 1st July to then found out wicks could not get the materials originally ordered. I had to then buy my own from pluming world. It took 6 weeks and still not finished. I have chipped tiles that the fitter has covered up with silicone. He’s cut a chunk out of my draw to make a pipe fit! The radiator is not flush to the wall it’s hanging off a pipe at an angle. He’s not filled my radiator back up, which is a danger. Nothing is level. The silicone is a proper mess!! He’s ruined my carpet and just left it frayed near the door and told me to get a carpet fitter!!! I could cry!!! It all needs re doing 😭

Staff are friendly and helpful. I've been going to Wickes in Sutton In Ashfield regularly for years. Some of the ladies in the Sutton In Ashfield branch have been there for as long as I can remember and they are always friendly and competent. They should have a long service medal.
