Wickes - Swindon レビュー

We went into Wickes knowing what we wanted, we had chosen the style and colour, put it all together in our heads. Then we met Millie! Milly was brilliant 👏 She came for a home visit, measured up, chatted through what we wanted, made helpful suggestions and then arranged for us to go into the store to see it all put together on screen.
We changed cupboard colours and worktops midway as I had found different tiles, and Millie put it altogether again with a smile 🙂
Then we had to put it all on hold due to ill health. Nine months later we were ready and she pulled out all the stops to get it done for us. She is a very kind, patient young lady, thoughtful and considerate throughout the whole procedure.
Matt was our kitchen fitter, he is marvellous. He made a fantastic job of fitting our new kitchen into our quirky, wonky old cottage! We are thrilled to bits with the whole process, top marks to the Wickes Team 👏

Great staff Tony unbelievable helpful went that extra mile in deplorable weather.hannah on the checkout a member be proud of.Swindon

Very helpful staff members, especially Livi, who helped me by finding items in the shop and carrying items to my car as I walk with a stick.

Morris was very helpful

Highworth Community Cider applied for the £100 community fund. We are a Non-for-profit little community group collecting local apples to make cider so we can sell and donate the profits to local causes and charities. We applied for guttering to put on the building where we make cider. The process was straightforward and we were successful in our bid. The community coordinator champion, Millie, has been really helpful and supportive and we really appreciate that big companies like Wickes support little community groups like us

I went into Wickes Swindon with absolutely zero knowledge of paint, colour blind and basically no idea what I needed. Tony took control, chose the right paint, worked out the colours and then proceeded to add every roller, brush and consumable apparently known to mankind.
15 minutes later I was £600 lighter.
Excellent knowledge, straight to the point, genuinely helpful and somehow managed to make choosing paint simple even for someone who can't see half the colours properly.
The shareholders and board at Wickes should seriously consider giving Tony a pay rise. Anyone who can turn my complete lack of paint knowledge into a £600 sale in 15 minutes is clearly doing something right.
Excellent service. Thanks Tony.

Great service today from Evie, a credit to the company. Very helpful and friendly

Melinda! And manager Sara. Between them they were both always keen to help and most importantly were patient, in spite of being busy and in the face of my plodding enquiries.
I've recently put up fences and am building a deck so I've made many trips. Melinda is omnipresent and always smiling and willing. And Sara has always been on hand, especially for home deliveries and technical queries.

Thank you ladies. You are each an asset and a credit to Wickes.

Couldn't find what I was looking for despite walking round the store. I found Kerrie who found the product for me, showed me the various options and helped me with my choice. So polite and helpful. Thank you Kerrie!!!

Thank you so much Tony for all your help. So very much appreciated.
Tony very kindly put bags of stones on trolley then put them in our car.
Will definitely be coming back to Wickes :-) Thank you so much.

I had a great experience with a gentleman called Liam, very helpful with putting heavy items in my vehicle. Pleasant young man. Thank you.

Excellent service from Tony and Kerrie today. Thank you for helping me with my tiles. Staff always professional and polite, especially the young lady on the checkout.

I rang my Swindon store to check if what I wanted was in stock as it's a 20 minute drive from where I live. I spoke to Melinda who was extremely helpful. She found what I was looking for, confirmed it was in stock and also confirmed i could have the item I wanted cut so it would fit in my car. Upon arriving at the store, Melinda helped me with a trolley and guided me to the aisle I needed. Another member of staff took the board to the cutting room and promptly cut the board to my measurements. The whole experience was great and the customer service exemplary. Well done Melinda and Swindon store.

Wickes

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Wickes for the generous support provided to our Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) programme in October 2025. Thanks to the materials donated, our students were able to plant and grow vegetables as part of their Skills and Volunteering activities.

I am not certain whether I had the opportunity to leave feedback at the time, but I felt it was important to acknowledge the positive impact of your contribution. The support we received was both generous and greatly appreciated.

A particular thank you goes to Millie, whose professionalism, kindness, and attention made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.

Support like this demonstrates that businesses can make a real difference in the lives of young people. Wickes' contribution was about much more than materials; it was an investment in our students' growth, learning, and sense of achievement. We are truly grateful for your support.

Tony was very helpful he loaded bags of pebbles for me also mentioned half price on split bags. He also load them into the car. A

Charlotte is amazing. She has served me so many times and without fail she’s 5 ⭐ service. Today I forgot my boss’s card and had a really bad day at the garage and I was so worried I drove all the way there for no reason to return the last panel we didn’t need. She calmed me down and was mellow and fast and efficient

Never change who you are and have a lovely holiday in Tenerife xo

I arrived to wickes to grab a few bits for my builder and went to get a trolly.
I was unfortunately cat called by a group of men in the car park and they said some awful things so I went into the store and asked for some assistance finding the items I needed but also didn’t feel safe to walking around the store alone as the men had walked in and looked at me. That’s when Kerrie was called over to help me and what a hero he was. Not only did he make me feel really safe and welcome but also went shopping with me to help me find the items I needed. He really made me feel calm and relaxed and listened too. He then took my trolly of items up to the till and while I payed he headed in the direction of the door and said he would help load them into my car and see me off safely. One of the kindest men I have met and what a wonderful employee. Kerrie your a gem! Thankyou I won’t forget your kindness
