Although I'd done a little research beforehand, it was quite overwhelming trying to choose a new bathroom suite with accessories. However, my thanks go to Shaun, the design consultant at the Warrington branch, who steered me through the maze of options. I didn't end up with what I thought I wanted, but I'm pleased with the recommendations he put forward and the decisions made as a result. Shaun was courteous and respectful throughout the process and answered my many questions by text promptly and effectively. I'm so looking forward to having it fitted now. Thank you Shaun.

Do not buy a kitchen from Wickes. While the design service was good, everything went downhill the moment we paid. We were passed over to their so-called installation team, and it’s been a nightmare ever since.

What was supposed to be a 7-day installation has dragged on for over six months, and the kitchen is still not finished. I’ve called customer service every single day, and not once have I received a callback. The lack of communication is shocking.

Once they’ve got your money, Wickes completely washes their hands of you. The store where we bought the kitchen can’t help you even if they wanted to – once you’ve paid, they have no way of assisting you. Wickes desperately needs to rethink their structure and actually learn what customer service means. This experience has been beyond frustrating – avoid Wickes like the plague.

This is a follow on from my previous complaint! Had the bathroom fitter come around and tell us the bathroom won't fit!!! How can a design consultant make a bathroom which won't fit into the room! It's honestly laughable at this point how shocking the whole experience has been. We have decided to send the whole bathroom back but suprise suprise the return portal is down and has been for a good amount of days now. Call after call and email after email we are getting no where. Always a promised call back but never receive. We also sent a complaint to head office on the 11th April and YET still no reply!!! Honestly please avoid wickes at all cost. I'm pregnant and wanted this bathroom completed in time and all this is causing myself and husband stress!!!!

We first got in touch with Wickes in Bolton about a new bathroom. They sent a designer out, but after the visit we never heard anything back, even after trying to chase it up. In the end, I’m actually glad it didn’t work out, because we decided to try the Warrington branch instead and got Shaun McLoughlin — and honestly, he’s been brilliant.

Shaun came round, straight away picked up on the style of the house, went back to the office, and by later that same day he already had the designs ready. When we went to see him, he gave us a price that was actually well under what he originally estimated when he visited, and the design was spot on — it just fit perfectly with the rest of the house. There was nothing we needed to change.

Shaun's service has been genuinely helpful from start to finish. You can tell he knows exactly what he's doing. Couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

We recently had our new kitchen fitted which we bought from Wickes. The whole process was easy and managed very professionally, with good communication all the way from start to finish. From our initial appointment with Mo in the sales team, to the end result.
We couldn’t be happier with the work done by the joiner, James Rosa, who was appointed by Wikes to carry out the fitting. From start to finish, the quality of craftsmanship was very good and every detail was finished to a high standard.
He and his team were punctual, professional, and respected our home. The whole process was smooth and stress-free thanks to their expertise. We’re absolutely delighted with the end result.

Our experience at Wickes was fantastic. We walked away with everything we wanted. Our design consultant, Sophie Lipscombe really listened to what we wanted and helped us to decide what was best. Sophie explained everything to us and broke down all the prices. Sophie was delightful and very enthusiastic about her job which made us feel more comfortable as it was our first ever experience with a design consultant.

We are delighted to have our dream kitchen for real. Sophie is the perfect professional kitchen designer who listened assertively to all the details we wanted to have in our dream kitchen. James and his staff were all pleasant, helpful and committed to finish our kitchen on time.

First of all the sale service was fantastic. No issues there the guy who helped us was brilliant.
However after sales service was so bad. We bought off the shelves items. Kitchen cabinets.
We bought to many and phoned up to see if we can return some. We just wanted a credit note and not a refund.
We where told no as it was bespoke!!! Wich it was most certainly not.
Won't ever return to Wicks for anything and we spend a small fortune on the cabinets.

Unhelpful staff! I was looking for a light pendant which said it was in stock instore but could only see the expensive version.
The store was dead with no que and Adina told me if it’s not in isle 4 then they don’t have it without even coming to look or check on the computer.

I eventually found it myself on a different shelf to the rest of the light fittings.

Our kitchen was designed by Shaun Mcloughin we found him very professional and a pleasure to speak to . Now our kitchen is finished , it is better than we could have imagined .Shaun was helpful to us all along the refurbishment no matter what we asked he came up with a plan .
