Wightlink Isle of Wight Ferries レビュー 

Having being totally let down by Direct Ferries who had inexplicably cancelled our return ferry we were stranded.
Wightlink came to the rescue and managed to book us a crossing from Yarmouth to Lymington instead of our planned crossing from Fishbourne. Talked to some lovely helpful people in their customer support and Business department.
Once we got to Yarmouth the lovely lady in the reception cabin managed, on hearing our story about being let down, managed to get us on standby for an earlier ferry than the booking.
Will book directly in future, they have at least got phone numbers to make contact with a human being instead of Direct Ferries chat bot where you can wait hours for a reply.

And ot is a very good ferry and it is a very nice boat and nice members of staff.

Just came off the phone with Emma and Nathan and couldn’t be happier. Easily the best customer service I’ve had over the phone for such a long time. Helped me amend my booking and couldn’t have been more helpful and patient. If the crossing is as good as their customer service I’ll be very happy.

This was an entirely unsatisfactory experience from beginning to end. The ship loaders were unprofessional and exhibited aggressive behavior. After an hour of waiting, no information was provided regarding boarding onto the ship. If it were possible to award zero stars i would of done. I strongly advise against using this service; while other providers may not be significantly better, none are as poor as Wightlink .Give your heads a wobble .

Never visiting the island again. The worst ferry experience I've ever suffered. Wightlink and their disgusting pricing strategy and their rude staff make the island a no-go from now on

We can’t rate Wightlink enough, the experience was fantastic, we come over to Isle of Wight, for a weeks holiday, from Portsmouth to Fishbourne, & a day trip back to the main land, Yarmouth to Lymington, our interaction with staff on both occasions way brilliant, my daughter needs access by wheelchair & I can’t braise staff enough, kind considerate, & had health & safety in mind at all times, Thank you guys. Appreciated.

Every interaction we had with Staff was very positive and professional
Ferries were on time and the ships very well maintained and clean

I’m a trades person trying to scrape a living and finished early so went to the ferry port. Had to pay £105 extra to change to another ferry, even though they had free space.
What a rip off.

11.40am Fishourne to Portsmouth service today. The port manager was fantastic, helping me to get an emergency ticket. My vision was so poor so he stopped what he was doing and did it all for me. He also noticed I was struggling to walk so he arranged help onto and off the ship.
Providing incontinence pads and a bin for us lot with prostate cancer was class. Asking for a package for Alan meant I was never embarrassed .
Thank you. Thank you for allowing us old blokes to travel and with dignity.

Boats are too small to get every one on I would recommend using red funnel

Would love them to justify how their costs increase during the festival.
As staff and fuel costs the same amount everyday.

Wightlink are a joke. We arrived early, yet their staff stopped the queue two cars short of the boat, so we missed a ferry that was already running half an hour late. No system, no organisation, no apology. Just some bloke telling us it was "only your two cars" that missed it, as if turning up early for a delayed boat is our fault. You took our money and wasted our time. Useless.

We booked tickets on the Wightlink service from Portsmouth to Fishbourne for the IoW festival. We were just going for the Saturday so booked the 2am return crossing. We received a message from Wightlink the day before departure saying our booking had been moved to 4am due to their ‘operational schedule’. It’s frustrating that such a poor reason was given. There were quite a few other festival goers booked onto that ferry who now had to wait another 2 hours to return home after an already long day. Not good enough.

I had no idea what to expect, I saw the prices and cringed, but then I put the motorcycle in and it was a far better deal. Bear in mind this was the hottest May bank holiday on record, we arrived for the outbound trip a nice and early in order to get tickets, booking references and all that jazz, none of that was required, just give the guy your name, done!, go to the front of the queue, and off we go, it wasn't until I was half way over that I realised we were on the 9.30 and not the 10am, no hassle, no questions. Return journey, the guys sent us to the front once again, had some great banter with the quayside staff and we were off, smooth travel, great staff, efficient, I am sure the outbound trip took 25 minutes and not 40 also! Exceeded expectations as they say, as did the IoW in general, will be coming back for sure.

We had a fantastic experience with Wightlink Isle of Wight Ferries from start to finish on the busy bank holiday Sunday (24th of May).

The booking process on their website was intuitive and straightforward, making it easy to choose a suitable sailing time. All the key details, including check-in times, were clearly explained, which made planning stress-free.

At the port, the staff were efficient, friendly, and very helpful. Check-in was quick and seamless, setting a great tone for the journey. The ferry itself was clean and comfortable, making for an enjoyable crossing too.

Although we were booked on the 17:40 ferry for our return to Portsmouth, we arrived at the start of the check-in window and were pleasantly surprised to be offered an earlier sailing, which was a great bonus.

Overall, the service was excellent throughout. A big thank you to the team at Wightlink for such a smooth and enjoyable experience.

I live on the Island and purchased a multi link book of tickets
As i have 2 trips left tried to book and use them HOWEVER even though i am trying to book today they have said my travel date of 3rd June is after the expiry date of 25th May so i cannot use them
They have the money i paid for the tickets but said if i renew another multi link pass i can still use the 2 trips
This seems so unfair !

D'ya know that feeling when you order a takeaway & it turns up 20mins late, stone cold? That's the feeling you get everytime you use Wightlink. Never before have you paid so much money for such poor service. The only reason they get 1 star is because the ferries I've been on haven't sunk. To make matters worse, senior Wightlink management will read this (possibly) & not care, as long as the money keeps coming in.
