The care I received at Wood Medispa was fantastic. Everyone, and I mean literally everyone here couldn’t be more kind and helpful. The staff, nurses, My surgeon, even the nice chaps who did my anaesthetic came and had a chat with Me. As for the surgery itself, I Love my results. Mr McDiarmid really listens, and his honesty is refreshing.
The hospital is beautiful, and looks and feels like a 5 star hotel.
I would absolutely recommend.

My treatment was a fairly straightforward hernia repair but actually the only time in my life I have been hospitalised. The staff were excellent; kind courteous reassuring and friendly, It was almost like being treated at home. I certainly would never hesitate to be seen to there in the future - though obviously I hope it won't be necessary!

I had breast reduction and a deep plane lower face lift and earlobe reduction in June 2022. This was not an easy decision to make and not for the faint hearted but it has changed my life and one of the best decisions I have ever made. From start to finish the treatment and service was exceptional and I would 100% do it all again. Thank you for everything.

The entire experience is absolutely world class, from the pre admission communication, to the admission, to the surgery and everything in between. Nothing is too much trouble, and everything you could ever require is provided quickly, efficiently and with the upmost care and attention.

The fact that the clinical and nursing team are world class, just enhances the experience.

From the first phone call I had with Felicity I was made to feel at ease, she was so supportive and did everything she could to help me along this journey and I can’t thank her enough! Every single one of the team made me feel welcome, supported and they made a 21 year journey leading up until this point feel like this is where I was supposed to be having my procedure done. The nurse that looked after me (Zoe) was so helpful and would always go out of her way for me. James was absolutely incredible and I felt so comfortable letting him take the lead, and had full trust in him knowing what would be the best way going forward for me was. WoodMedi spa is absolutely beautiful, it felt more like a hotel stay than a “hospital” stay. I cannot recommend James and his team enough!! This procedure has well and truly changed my life - thank you!!

Although I always intended to praise the entire staff at MediSpa and to thank James for his exceptional skills, it was my GP’s remarks on the surgery that has prompted me to make this review.

I had a Breast Augmentation with Mr James Mcdiarmid at the beginning of this month, it’s something I’ve wanted for years and since discovering Woodmedispa, It was a no brainer as to who and where I wanted to go for my procedure! Then after getting a first hand review from a friend who had also gone with James, I bit the bullet and never looked back! 2 weeks in and even though they take up to 3 months to fully settle, I’m just in love with my results! Pretty much back to full heath & normality too, which is amazing… very quick recovery!
Big shout out to all the nurses throughout my stay, they all treated me like their own and didn’t want to say goodbye to any of them. As for James and his team, well that goes without saying, extremely professional and comforting! Best of the best ❤️

Mr Paul Wilson and his team were fantastic. He performed a tummy tuck and breast work and I couldn’t be happier. He corrected what years of exercise couldn’t. Warm, friendly, his team even made sure my partner was looked after. Lovely team.

The experience at Wood Medispa is nothing less than 5 stars from start to finish. I had seen James McDiarmid twice before at Nuffield but coming to Wood Medispa is a whole new experience. From first making my booking the reception staff were welcoming and friendly. Then nurses were empathetic, caring and nothing was too much trouble and even had my sense of humour!! James and his Operations team made you feel at ease and was thoroughly professional throughout!!
James, Wood Medispa is outstanding and a credit to all your hard work in achieving what it is now!! I will reccomend you to all who ask as my No1!!!

Wood Medispa, a stunning place in the most beautiful grounds.
On arrival I was welcomed by reception and shortly after greeted by Lauren herself. After application of numbing cream, I completed the necessary paperwork and discussed the procedure, namely Halo Laser. I was shown into the treatment room where Lauren initially used the BBL laser to ‘zap’ my unwanted thread veins. My face was then mapped out and the wonderful Halo laser was passed over the sections of my face. The procedure was painless and actually rather relaxing, after which I was given ice packs to cool the skin. I left with a rosy glow, reminiscent of a day in the sun.
The following morning my skin looked fabulous, totally even with a glow, no swelling and progressed to deeper pink through the day. Day 3, a little flaking started but I was told how great my skin looked. Day 4, I could notice the microscopic MENDS but only when looking closely. All in all I have been presentable throughout, I still have a little shedding to go but I can see the tremendous difference and I’m absolutely delighted with the results.
I’ve already recommended Wood Medispa, Lauren and Halo Laser to all, it’s exceptional!

James has gone above and beyond in helping me with my recovery. After a serious injury to my leg, I never thought it would be possible to get it looking the way it should. But thanks to James and his team, they've made it possible.

I’ve just returned home after a two night stay at Wood MediSpa and I have to say my whole experience has far exceeded anything that I’d imagined. The amazing Zoe & Holly welcomed me and took me under their wing before my surgery and made me feel so at ease. I had no pre op nerves and I’m sure a lot of that was due to all the team being so super friendly, informative and efficient. James McDiarmid did my surgery, that man works miracles! My surgery results are even better than I’d expected and I can’t thank him enough. The theatre team & nurses who all looked after me we’re just incredible. Nothing was too much trouble and always available immediately if I needed anything.
The food is also fantastic! Everything I ordered tasted like it was made with love, I felt like I was dining in a 5* hotel.
I can’t remember all of the nurses names but Zoe, Holly, Janice, Denise & Ella, (I know there’s one or two more) you are an absolutely incredible nursing team and you have made my stay the most wonderful experience. I can not thank you all enough for everything you have done for me.

Had a breast lift and breast augmentation from James at Wood Medi Spa and the results are amazing! The staff there are super friendly and extremely helpful! Had a great experience and would 100% recommend to anyone.

I had a BBL laser treatment with Lauren , it was absolutely fantastic! I have always suffered with acne and this is the first treatment to actually work for me . Lauren made me feel at ease about the treatment and very comfortable. The staff were so welcoming and helpful . Couldn’t fault them !

Great experience, staff were so nice and attentive making sure you were comfortable, the food was also really good, the anaesthetists and nurses were great and I’m very happy with the results thanks to Paul!

James McDiarmid and his team performed assisted with my Abdominoplasty, liposuction, breast reduction and hernia repair on 13/09/2022 today a week later I returned to have my stitches removed thank you Janice and Holly.

Nursing staff your professionalism, care, understanding and help is of a high standard thank you to you all.
Food the menu is amazing the choices unbelievable again nothing to much trouble for the chef to prepare if he can.

I had BA surgery three months ago. It was done by Jurga Pikturnaite. I am very happy with the process itself and the result. Reality exceeded my expectations.
Great clinic, very friendly, warm and welcoming staff.
Highly recommended.

I saw James late August for a consultation regards having my 12yr old breast implants replaced due to a rupture.
James was very reassuring as to what he would do during the surgery and what my recovery would be.
From first arrival at reception at the Wood Medispa I was looked after wonderfully.
The staff are all absolutely amazing, so kind, caring and patient. They take the time to talk to you and give the best patient care.

I would particularly like to mention Zoe, Holly, Janice and Daisy who looked after me during my stay, ensuring I was comfortable, did my obs, gave me my meds and took the time to have a chat and bring me teas, water and food.

Louis the anesthetist was calm and reassuring, as was Tash whilst I nervously kept thanking them profusely as I was put to sleep! Sorry lol!

I cannot write a review without mentioning the food - the food was absolutely divine, the Chef is definitely worthy of a Michelin star. Even the Bird and Blend teas were delicious.

In all honesty I was nervous about having the replacement surgery, I didn't want another surgery but I am overwhelmingly happy with the results and so pleased I've had it done - especially after seeing what was removed.

James is a very talented surgeon, I trust him implicitly, his staff are wonderful and the Medispa is a beautiful tranquil place to be. I cannot recommend James and his team more highly. A massive thank you to you all x
