I had an appeal meeting with my work today and had Represention from Dave he is really good to support people glad i joined yourmate union to get help i need to get my job back it is stressfull loosing a job fingers crossed get my postion back

Martin C was the trade union officer who assisted my mum during a recent work-related matter, and I honestly cannot speak highly enough of him. He was assigned to her case only a short while before her meeting, yet in that limited time he was incredibly attentive, supportive, and thorough.

Martin is a very fair officer who genuinely believes in what he does, and that passion truly shines through in his work. He took the time to listen, offered clear and practical advice, and made my mum feel supported and reassured during what could have been a very stressful situation.

He is incredibly professional and approachable, and his knowledge and integrity were evident throughout. I would highly recommend Martin to anyone in need of genuine advice, support, and representation. Hands down the best service and support we could have hoped for.

I was represented by Dave in what was a challenging situation. From the start, Dave provided advice that was extremely important on things that I was not aware of and helped me prepare my case. I felt secure by his knowledge of employment rights and laws. On the day, Dave had my back and argued strongly in my defense. I managed to find justice as a result. I would recommend Yourmate to anyone that needs representation immediately.

The representatives are very good and helpful. Got my issues resolved in my favour in a short period of time. I would recommend. My case was handled by Ben he got things done so quickly. I am really grateful.

I was impressed by the reviews, so I decided to sign up. But I soon realised those comments can’t be trusted. The person who called me from Dorchester ( ending with 542) was incredibly rude — he kept talking down to me and insisted I had no case. I actually do have a potential strong case after consulting with a solicitor.
After looking into this union, I discovered it’s basically just a private company, possibly run by only two people! Please don’t waste your money. even if it looks like a good deal. They make it sound like you’ll get immediate support when you join, but in reality, you’ll probably just be dismissed and discouraged instead.

I’m very grateful for all the support I received throughout my case. The team was really helpful, and Ben was especially supportive in representing me during the whole hearing. I truly appreciate everything that was done to help me and for the fair outcome

I’m really grateful to Yourmate Union for helping me get back what I was owed from my old employer through the Employment Tribunal. They guided me every step of the way!

I reached out to them in time of panic and confusion but they made me believe in myself. Trust my self. I was facing unfair dismissal but they assisted me to win the case positively. They assisted me to gather enough evidence to win my case.

Been a member for nearly a year. They haven't represented me but been more of a advisory and back you up union. I tried to contact the union as my manager was recording and watching me on a monitor in the office and my manager keeps messing up my pay and I have to fight for my money.
Eventually after weeks trying to get hold of your mate I got a phone call back. Only to be told that my manager can record and monitor me as much as they want, even without any reason.(which i later found out the cannot) and then to be told as long as I do Eventually get my pay that is short there is nothing I can do, even if it is an ongoing problem.
I still cannot get hold of anyone from the office. I am trying to cancel my membership but I can't. Hopefully some one from yourmate ( which are not my mates ) can get hold of me and cancell my membership and hopefully give me at least 3 months membership back because I have had to do everything.

The Union Representative was very professional in the way he dealt with my case. He made sure that I understood and was always giving me latest updates on how the case was progressing. He gave me sound advice that was very crucial and would happily recommend them(YOURMATE) to anyone who is struggling and are having issues with their employers.

My union representative (Mr D Dawes) was exceptionally helpful. He helped me through my whole time of problems at work. The representative was keeping in touch frequently and advising me on what I need to do. And made me feel welcome. I definitely would recommend Your-mate. 👍

I was in an unfortunate position at work where I required the help and support from a union. It was difficult to find one that would represent me with the case as it had already started and needed help as it was going to a hearing.
I’ve never been in this position before and found the whole situation rather daunting. I contacted Dave Dawes at your mate and he confirmed her could represent me at this stage (when others refused) and his medical background was perfect.
I signed up there and then. Once we had all the evidence and statements he picked up very quickly that there was a lot of information missing. He contacted my employer and handled everything from that point.
I honestly felt like I had handed him a ticking time bomb, and he was going to sort it.
He has such a calm manner, perfect for these situations.
He made some very valid points in my hearing and I am now thankfully back at work 9 weeks after my suspension started.
I honestly cannot recommend Dave high enough.
